Chapter 3
*Three Years later*
“Contain her” A guard screams as seven releases a blood curdling scream.
“I can’t she is going feral”
“Someone call the doctor”
“Quick mover her away from the portal”
“HELP!”
“Doctor quick, sedate her”
The huffing and puffing of the doctor running up is almost dawned out as the seven releases another blood curdling scream.
“HOLD HER!”
“I CAN’T!”
“TOO STRONG” the guards and nurses shout.
As the doctor goes to put the needle into seven’s arm. Seven breaks free and rips the throat out of the first two guards on the right. Reaching over seven grabs the needle and shoves into the doctor’s eye pressing the plunger at the same time. The doctor lets out a loud scream, before collapsing to the ground shaking and thrashing around.
Seven springs to her feet and releases her fangs and rips out the throat of the nurse, while grabbing the next guards’ arms and ripping them from his sockets before and impaling the next nurse in the chest. Seven leaps over the top of the next several guards before diving for the portal covered in blood. As seven breaks through the barrier and emerges on the other side. Several more guards attack. Seven shifts mid attacks and snaps the necks of several guards before racing forward and shift back to human form and lighting several others on fire. The shouts for back up sound through out the night.
“That is enough little one” A large vampire says standing behind the little girl.
Seven snarls showing her fangs dripping with blood whilst also spouting fur and detaching her shadow.
“Interesting small fry, but can you do this?” The vampire calls before teleporting and zipping behind her. Just as the vampire appears behind the little girl, her shadow attacks and rips into him while using her fire to cook the vampire.
“Crispy” the little girl mutters as she smiles before teleporting behind the vampire and latching her fangs into his neck.
The vampire hisses before eventually detaching her and teleporting away.
“Which is why we have Athan looking into it” Bride responds as Athan pops into the room covered in blood.
“What the Hell”
“Are you ok”
“What happened”
“Evil” Athan mutters before collapsing
“Did he just say evil?” Lycus growls as he stands, Lycus’s fur starts to sprout through his arms, legs and face.
Bride summons Hekate and between the both of them they try and stop the bleeding and help heal Athan.
The scents and power here make seven stumble and fall, “where did the vampire go?” Seven whispers aloud as she continues to stumble through the woods.
“Do you see the thing?”
“Negative”
“Call the Royal’s”
“What Royal’s we are under the Heavenly realm until they elect a new king and queen”
“She can’t have gone far”
“Did you see what she did to God Athan?”
“Yeah, hopefully she gets caught sooner rather than later”
“I heard that the other, newborns are doing well”
“Why are you talking about this?”
“I need to distract myself before my guts is ripped out”
“Roger that”
The sounds through the woods make Seven switch between her different supers like water flowing from a tap. Not able to hold each long enough to get her bearings.
The smell of food incites her appetite and as she runs towards the sounds and smell of food Seven becomes more and more ravenous.
“Did you hear?”
“Hear what?”
“There is a warning out that there is a rogue on the loose and that all the newborns are to be sent to the Heavenly realm for safe keeping”
“When?”
“Soon. Goddess Bride said that she would come and collect the various children and get them to safety until the rogue is caught as they don’t want her getting any of the newborn children”
“That is good, at least they will be safe”
“I heard that Athan was attacked”
“Yes, almost had his throat ripped out by the rogue”
“Wow! That rogue must be strong?”
“Taking on a god and almost killing him, yeah I would say that it is super strong”
As Seven listens in to the other people talk, she slowly takes the cloak and bread sitting on the table just in front of her, reaching out her Boney arm she lifts the cloak first then the bread, just as she is about to walk away Seven spots the biggest reddest apple that she has ever seen. Reaching her arm forward Seven just grabs the apple as the shouts start. Quickly wrapping the cloak around her body, she sticks to the shadows and watches as the children all gather around. Moving towards the group Seven sticks to the back of the group and hijacks the teleport to the Heavenly realm.
“Right children, please move towards the hall, and remain there until one of us gods come to you. You are not allowed to wander around.” Bride says as she addresses the children. As the children move towards the Hall, seven sticks close to the back and moves towards the shadows. She watches as Bride moves towards the others that are in the hall.
“What can you tell me about the girl?” Archon asks
“She is young, no more than ten years of age, she is terrified, I almost convinced her to let me help but something spooked her and then she attacked but she was apologising as she was attacking me. I don’t think that she can control herself” Athan mutters.
“The kids have arrived” Bride announces through the mind link.
“Get them comfortable” Aibelle replies back as they move into towards the hall.
“What else can you tell us about the kid” Archon asks Athan.
“Well, she looks exactly like that” Athan says as he points down the hall towards a small, dirty child covered in blood that has fire glowing around her, fur over her body and fangs dripping with blood.
Seven rips the cloak off and bares her fangs as she prepares to attack.
