Chapter 41
Everything was touch and go for a long time, months we watched as Hennessy struggled to get better and months of watching Jameson struggle to hold on.
“You got sick when your protector died because she was meant to be part of the prophecy” Nix murmured.
“I…I am sorry Jameson” I mutter watching as Jameson sat beside my beside with tears running down his face. Everyone checked on him constantly making sure that he was going to stick around.
Tennessee asked numerous times how he was going. Each time was like a knife in his side.
Skky was always crying but now looking back on it, it was fake and extremely insincere and there for it made the memory even more bitter.
We continued to watch the months and years roll by each one time that Skky tried to do something was just another nail in the coffin. We watched as she gloated to others about taking care of problems and that she was going to make sure that Hennessy paid for all the trouble she had caused.
We watched when London and Skky fought over her comments and how she threatens to kill Hennessy in her sleep if Jameson, Tennessee and Tito didn’t start paying attention to her.
“You are a bitch, have you ever thought that they don’t want to be around you because you cause trouble” London snaps.
“Hennessy is the problem she is a lying bitch; she acts like she is so innocent and caring but she is a liar” Skky whines.
Five months later Skky storms through the pack house looking like she is ready to kill someone when Beta enters the room.
“Hey gorgeous” Skky purrs as she walks up to the Beta, we watch as his face scrunches up and he tries to move away from her.
“Skky” Beta grunts
“How about you come show me a good time. I heard that you can go for hours” Skky a seductive tone. But anyone paying attention can see that the Beta is trying his hardest not to throw up.
“No” the Beta says and pushes her to the side and walks around her.
“Aww you don’t know what you are missing” Skky purrs.
The Beta continues to walk away but a little faster this time. As Skky continues to pass through the front door she stops and turns back to the Beta watching as he stops and talks to the Gamma.
“Again?” The Gamma says
“Yeah, she is like a plague. You know you sure as shit don’t want it but it won’t stop coming for you like a heat seeking missile” The Beta snaps The Gamma laughs and nods his head.
“I heard that she broke up another relationship” The Gamma says.
“Another one? Bloody hell. I swear if she wasn’t Tito’s sister, I would kill her on sight” The Beta grumbles as he shakes his head.
“Mm can’t say that the pack and I disagree” The Gamma snaps.
“Anyway, I have rounds. Make sure that you tell the warriors to steer clear of the sex sucking leech” The Beta says as he moves to go around the Gamma.
“None, of the warriors will touch that with a ten-foot pole” The Gamma says laughing.
The Gamma and Beta don’t see that Skky moved closer and they don’t see the rage and anger on her face. As they walk away Skky storms out the house and towards the training grounds. Storming up to the nearest warrior Skky tries to seduce him as well but the Warrior practically runs from her. Skky tries to shift but isn’t able to. We watch as nearly everyone in area stops and stares and whispers about Skky. Skky getting angrier and angrier runs from the field and into the woods behind cursing Hennessy and this stupid pack.
“How come she couldn’t shift?” London asks
“For months I prevented the shift” the voice says we all turn and see a ghost of the red wolf from earlier.
“The moon goddess aloud me to come back so that I could explain some stuff with you all, this will help you for the next part” The red wolf says.
“Skky, was never meant to be my other. I was meant to be born to a little boy in the house next door to yours. However, your mother was worried that Skky was going to die and made a deal with the dark witches that would guarantee that she would have a wolf spirit. However, with all magic there is a price and when it comes to life. Well, it’s a life for a life. As the little boy was being born at the same time the dark witch took his life and I ended up being placed within Skky. The problem was that we were never meant to be together and because we were forced, we couldn’t bond therefore I couldn’t control most of Skky’s actions. There were times that I did persuade her not to do something but most times this never really worked in my favour. So, this is what happens, if a super and a other hate each other they will war against each other just to find a balance generally power wins but Skky was never strong physically but mentally she was very strong and it was something that I couldn’t fight all the time.” The red wolf says with deep sadness.
“Does that mean that she was not meant to exist” London asks
“Yes and No” the red wolf mutters.
“I knew she was trouble” Tennessee says
“Yes, you were right, Skky was trouble and still is trouble if you don’t make the choice to end her life then you are inviting more pain and suffering. The moon goddess isn’t happy that I asked to leave her and for that I will not be reborn. But after suffering I am ok with this. So as my last gift to Hennessy I must inform you of something that is going to make your lives extremely difficult” The red wolf says staring at each and every one of us.
“What?” The stranger says
“Skky was in league with the Royals” The red wolf utters as she disappears
