Chapter 40

Answers or Horrors cont.
Skky continues to cause havoc along with mother for another couple of years before Mother is murdered. We watch as Skky comes in ranting about failing to sleep with the king and how things weren’t working out. She continues to rant and rave for a further thirty minutes before she realises that something is wrong.
When she realises that our mother is dead, she rushes towards her mother screaming and crying for her to wake up. But mothering happens hearing a shuffling in the other room Skky moves towards the sound. There she finds Hennessy covered in blood crying.
“S…she won’t wake up” Hennessy squeaks out terrified.
“H…help me wake her up” Hennessy mumbles again.
“YOU!” Skky screams and shifts into her wolf and attacks Hennessy. Hennessy eyes glow before she throws her body to the side just in time from taking the full brunt of the Skky. Skky claws rake down Hennessy side but instead of crying out, Hennessy enters the code and hides inside the hidey hole.
Skky continues to scream rant and carry on for hours before finally leaving.
For the next three days Skky does everything in her power to torment Hennessy as she is locked into the hole.
“Our brothers and sister will kill you for killing mother” Skky mutters.
“Tito will tear you limb from limb”
“Tennessee will take you to his level to make sure that you pay for everything that you have done here”
“Jameson will hate you and will never want to have anything to do with you ever again.”
After continually scaring Hennessy, she leaves and watches as her brothers arrive at the house. She watches from a distance as the shout for Hennessy but still no answer. For hours they look before everything goes quiet and then Hennessy’s high pitch scream is heard clear as day. Stamping her feet Skky walks away angry and disappointed that the little bitch continues to live.
For the next ten years we watch as Skky torments Hennessy in any way possible. If it wasn’t saying mean comments, it was tripping her when they were together which wasn’t often.
On Hennessy sixteenth birthday everyone gathered at the cabin to celebrate. It was then that we met Jameson’s mate in the privacy of our home we called her by her name Sasha and she told us that Jameson and her had been together for just over six months but because of the unrest it was safe to venture far. But she wouldn’t have missed this birthday for the world. We also discovered that she was pregnant and that she was super excited. Jameson was always with her, touching her and kissing her. At the end of the night Jameson, Sasha and Hennessy left but Skky put up such a fight that she was sad that she only got to spend a little time with Hennessy and that on an important birthday that she just wanted to spend extra time.
Jameson always weary informed Skky that he would bring Skky back tomorrow and Tito, Skky and Hennessy could hang out while him and Sasha had things to do. But Sasha though that it would be a wasted trip and let Skky come back with them.
Everything was good for the first couple of days Skky was on her best behaviour but on the third day Sasha served Hennessy’s favourite food again even though Skky said that she hated it and didn’t want to eat that. Jameson said that she was free to leave and that if she was staying here, she had to eat what Sasha and Hennessy prepared. Skky feeling left out again stormed away and sulked and raged in her room.
Later as Skky came out of her room to find something to eat, Skky overheard Sasha and Jameson talking about Hennessy.
“So, what do you think Hennessy’s super is?” Jameson asks.
“Mm a nymph?” Sasha says giggling as Jameson shouts absolutely not.
“She is not going to be a whore like my mother or Skky. Nope not happening” Jameson says
“Maybe she is a Phoenix?” Sasha says while looking her husband in the eye.
“Hm, maybe she is poised and kind unlike some and she would be powerful” Jameson says.
“I could be her protector” Sasha says while continuing with a straight face.
“You are a Griffin darling to be a protector don’t you have to be a fire, Griffin?” Jameson asks with seriousness.
“Yeah” Sasha replies before shooting a ball of flames into the fire place.
Jameson sits shocks for a few minutes before laughing and staring at Sasha.
“Is she…...” Jameson starts but is cut off by a noise in the hallway.
Jameson jumps up from the couch and rushes into the hallway but nothing is there. Looking through the hall and walking into Hennessy’s bedroom he sees that she is still sleeping soundly. Coming out of the room and walking back up the hall he hears Sasha and Skky talking. Realising that it was Skky in the hall before he walks into the kitchen ready to tear her a new one but as he steps in the tension in the room is thick taking one look at his mate, he knows that Skky has done something to upset his mate. Turning to Skky he barks out “What have you done now?”
“Nothing I came to apologise for earlier but Sasha said that she would like me to leave now” Skky whines.
“It’s the middle of the night I can’t leave now”
“Jameson take her back to her home please” Sasha says with the tone of her voice as well as the look she passes Jameson as she walks out the room, he knows that whatever Skky has done has seriously upset Sasha.
Not wasting any time Jameson storms over to Skky, grabs her arm and vanishes within seconds. Once back at the pack he instantly releases Skky and then disappears.
We watch as Tito comes out of the packhouse asking her what she has done now. Skky smiles and walks away.
As the night goes on it is just before dawn that the message is received that Hennessy is sick Tito calls London with Skky sitting beside him laughing.
“What have you done?” Tito growl grabbing Skky around the throat.
Skky shocked that Tito attacked her, whimpers and tries to make herself smaller. However, once Tennessee and London arrives no one takes any notice as they quickly zip off to Jameson’s realm, they don’t see that Skky has hijacked the ride and that as soon as she is there she heads for the medication that Sasha takes. We watch as she empties a vial of something into the liquid medication gives it a quick shake and moves to back of the group.
After hours of waiting Tennessee transports them back to the pack house. With there worry they don’t see that Skky travelled with them they don’t see the utter joy on her face as just as dawn breaks, they feel a magic snap in their realm and they hear the wailing of a male that has just lost his mate.
The news comes later that Jameson was the one that lost his mate Sasha is dead and Hennessy is gravelly ill.
