Chapter 81

Tennessee and Daimon

“So what is your worst fear?” Tennessee asks Damion as they continue to walk through the black.
“It isn’t me, its you. What is your worst fear Tennessee?” Daimon asks
“I have a few fears, but I guess they aren’t the worst fears so to speak. But as for the worst fear that all revolves around the family. I have always been scared that Hen would be killed by Skky. Or that we will die miserable and alone, but the worst is that Hen would be human and that I would spend the rest of my life lying, begging and stealing to keep her safe.” Tennessee says in a matter-of-fact voice.
“Then if you know your worst fear then this should be a walk in the park” Daimon replies.
“Why did you do it Tennessee, I trusted you. Why did you betray me? Huh, what did I do to you? Why do you hate me? Is it because I am not a Demon are you really going to be so petty just because I am not a demon” Hennessy cries out as she looks at Tennessee.
“Hen, wait. What this isn’t.” Tennessee tries to say but seeing his little sister standing there crying gutted him. Taking a step forward Tennessee tries to reach out to Hennessy however she moves further away.
“Hen wait” Tennessee calls as she moves further into the dark. As Tennessee gives chase only to run into a wall of some type. Tennessee screams and hits the wall trying with every once of super power he has to get to his sister and explain that he would never hurt her or betray her but the wall stops him.
“HENNESSY!” Tennessee screams again but Hennessy continues to disappear into the dark.
“You did this Tennessee you made the Queen come after me, you were the one that didn’t want to have me stay because you just wanted to hang with your own. Why?” Hennessy cries into the dark.
Tennessee continues to bash against the wall trying and begging Hennessy that it isn’t true and he loved her and would protect her from anything.
“You did this” Hennessy’s voice haunts as he loses sight of her in the darkness.
Tennessee continues to bang on the wall muttering about how his stupid mother was selfish and deserved the seven levels of hell for the rest of her life. He cursed about how Sky was a spoilt and unworthy bitch that he wished he would have killed at birth then maybe just maybe Hennessy wouldn’t be going through this. He cursed being a Demon because being a demon took time away from his family and they were like humans and that every time they caught up lately was because something was wrong. He just wanted to sit down and have dinner together, they wanted to laugh, drink and be merry but no that wasn’t an option for him and his family so he cursed the gods and goddesses that thought this was a better life. At the first sound of the invisible wall cracking Tennessee renewed his strength giving it his all to break down the wall that was dividing him from his little sister.
In the distance Tennessee hear Hennessy scream. Tennessee losing his precious hold on his super who breaks free and he fully turns to a demon with black eyes, a bronze complexion and sinful cupid bow lips Tennessee and his super break through the wall and speed off into the distance trying to reach his little sister.
“Hennessy I am coming, hang on” Tennessee yells. As he continues to race through the dark the super and Tennessee stumble to a stop as at his feet was non other than Hennessy unmoving at his feet. Dropping to his knees Tennessee reaches out a shaking hand trying to touch Hennessy but not being able to bring himself to touch her face.
“She’s dead because of you” The females voice whispers into the darkness
“You could have saved her but you chose selfishness instead” The female’s voice continues to taunt as Tennessee continues to cry out his apologies about how he wishes that he could have saved her and that he was sorry for failing her.
“What are you going to do now that you killed your little sister and knowing that one by one you will kill the other members of your family as well. Supers of different breeds are not meant to be close that is the nature of the beast” The female laughs into the darkness.
“No supers of different species are generally not close but we are. We break nature and when I get out of here, I am going to break you” Tennessee growls into the darkness.

As Tennessee’s words register with the darkness Hennessy’s body disappears and there in its place is Daimon the God of Demons.
“Took you long enough. Couldn’t you tell that I am not a girl?” Daimon growls as he pulls himself to his feet.
“Well it is hard to tell you look like a pretty princess” Tennessee replies sweetly as he too pulls himself into a standing position.
“Who you calling a princess?” Daimon growls as he glares at Tennessee.
“You” Tennessee replies with a shrug of his shoulders. Daimon raises his hand ready to lay a beat down on Tennessee when suddenly Tennessee skips off into the distance.
“ARGH! I will give him princess; I will conjure a tiara and shove it straight up his ass” Daimon mutters as he runs after Tennessee.
“Tennessee guess you lied to me? That’s two beatings you are going to get” Daimon says as they continue to stand there looking around the room.
“Hm” Tennessee replies while still moving through the darkness.
“We need to get out of here and find London and Hen” Tennessee mutters as continues to move through the space.
“Agreed” Daimon responds
As they continue to move through the darkness in the distance there are muffled voices.
“What is that?” Tennessee says as he comes to a stop.
“It sounds like… voices but I can’t make out what they are saying” Daimon says tries as hard as he can to listen to the voices in the distance.
“Let’s go” Tennessee yells as he sprints across the distance
As they get closer the darkness slowly starts to become lighter and lighter until they are standing in a bright room.
“Tennessee, Daimon?” Tito calls.
“We have a problem Daimon” Aibelle and Lycus mutter as they walk closer.
