Chapter 46
Nix if you can hear me, now is the time to zap me back to the present and not this sparkle world. The gods and goddesses have gone bat shit crazy and I really don’t feel like using a feather or a billion to get the hell out of here.
Of course, there is no answer but that doesn’t stop me from constantly asking her for help. I beg and plead but nothing, there is no answer and I can feel my palms begin to sweat and I am also sure that I just peed myself a little. Nothing like a transitioning super that just peed her pants. Could nothing in my life just go as planned. I mean just one thing that is all I ask.
“Of course, my dear, I think that you will find yourself and your path on a very positive track soon just wait sweet heart” A gruff voice says. As I life my head I see another god but this one is dark skinned and OH. MY. FUCKING. GOD. HOT!!! The god laughs and so does everyone else in the group. Oh, shit can they read my mind? Argh…. Crap. The laughter continues.
“Its ok little one, we just have some questions to ask the bird goddess” says the goddess with red hair, though her hair isn’t just red it seems like it is filled with every possible shade as well as coppers and golds as well. You could almost mistake that her hair was a living breathing entity.
“Why are you doing this? It was that stupid little girl. She has tried to join with a super of mine that has broken the rules and therefore needs to be punished” The bird Goddess snaps while still struggling to free herself from the post that she is strapped to.
“Who gave you permission to interfere in a joining, you know that these are sacred and still you tried to intervene, it makes me wonder what else you have been doing” The ice chip eye man mutters as he walks closer to the bird goddess.
“Nothing she is the one that did this. She isn’t allowed to join with the super if that super broke the rules” The bird goddess snaps.
“What bullshit, you allowed my super to suffer greatly and now you are pissed because you think that together we are going to something that you just don’t want. Why don’t you want us to succeed? Why don’t you want Nix to be happy finally” I snap back at the bird goddess.
“What….th..that is stupid” The bird goddess stutters.
“Really? Why was she abused, why didn’t you allow so much pain and suffering she has had horrible others. Sure, over the centuries I can see that you might get a bad apple but for six bad apples in a row. I highly doubt it. For her to beg you not to let her return, not only did you allow it you stuck her with an other that was so horrible that Nix hates what she is. Why did you do this to her?” I yell as I storm closer and closer to her.
I don’t notice that the other gods and goddess muttering between themselves or the looks that each and everyone is giving the bird goddess. My attention is on her strapped to the post.
“You shouldn’t be in control of the bird species” I say stomping closer until I am right in front of her. Feeling the anger and the hate surge through me I feel the air crackle and an intense heat wash over me. I don’t hear the gasps or the steps that stomp closer to me. “You are bitter, you are not fit to care for our kind. You sold us out and you made our lives a misery. You deserve everything that you have done and I hope that when all your vial secrets come out that you pay the ultimate price” I mutter.
“You and your filthy super need to die” The bird goddess screams. She continues to thrash around but it’s a pathetic attempt, she isn’t going to get free and I have just about had enough of her shit.
I feel a rush of violence surge through my body. The threat against me is fine but Nix has suffered too much.
“Bitch you wanna play?” I snarl as I get right up in front of her, I get sick satisfaction that she pulls back almost like she is scared of me.
“You and your st.. stupid super has broken the rules” The goddess stumbles over her words.
Laughing I move until there is no space between our bodies.
“Let’s play bitch” I say with a deranged cackle. I hear the bird goddess scream as my fire touches her but it is the sound of her begging that makes me powerup even more. I watch as I touch the side of her face with my finger and smile as the skin starts to bubble and slide from her body. Her once beautiful face now resembles that of melting plastic, it is blackened and sliding down her body. It’s not until that the goddess’s cries turn to begging that I move back. Though she isn’t beautiful anymore she is no more than a melting mess.
“Yo…you will pay” the bird goddess gasps out. The goddess continues to cry and blubber that she wants to be let go that she doesn’t deserve this. But no one seems to listen and very little care about what she wants.
“No, but you will regret everything that you have done to Nix” I mutter, it isn’t until the last word leaves my mouth that the anger leaves my body and I realise that I am floating and covered in fire. Just as I realise what I am doing I drop to the ground with a loud thud.
“Now that was entertaining as fuck” The male god with the ice blue eyes says.
