Chapter 74
“Family?” Tennessee growls as he storms towards Dom. While yelling “We were friends dick head, I don’t know if I would count that as Family”
“It’s ok, that is what family is. We will fight and make up and all will be right” Dom replies distractedly
“Listen here you little sh…” Tennessee starts before the front door busts open with a very pissed looking Jameson and Tito walking through.
“Enough Tennessee, can’t you see that we are all got better things to do than to fight over something so petty” Tito growls as Jameson pushes past Tennessee and Dom make sure to shoulder check them both as he passes.
“What the hell” Tennessee growls
“Bro, I am standing here” Dom mutters.
“Busy, trying to find our sisters and you are standing there having a pissing match about something stupid so excuse the fuck out of me” Jameson snarls as he turns to give both men a death glare.
“That is so freaking Hot” Bride mutters
“I know right” Aibelle replies.
“Ladies keep it together” Athan whispers as he moves to stand beside them.
“So have you found anything?” Archon asks as he moves towards the table where they have the map laid out.
“No, the scouts haven’t found anything yet and as she used her teleportation unfortunately it isn’t like that shit is easy to follow” Landon says.
“Shakti is looking now through the realm now” Archon responds.
“We need to hurry” Athena mutters as she continues to pace back and forth.
“She is strong Athena, just breathe” Erebus says as he watches Athena pace back and forth.
“I can feel that something isn’t right. Nix is under immense strain we have to find her now” Athena responds
“Strain?” Bride asks
“Strain how?” Lycus asks
“Any pain?” Aibelle asks
“I can’t feel any pain, but I can feel that she is unsure, there was a moment where she was happy and gleeful, then she was thankful but now she is worried and strained. Something is very wrong” Athena continues to pace back and forth.
“Your apparently her mother can’t you find her?” Tennessee asks
“No” Athena responds dejectedly.
The room shakes, and everyone braces as the rooms shaking intensifies. Athena screams and clutches her head before dropping to her knees screaming and crying. Erebus rushes forward but suddenly stops before making contact with Athena.
Archon goes to move but is unable everyone is frozen to the spot.
“What the hell?” Erebus mutters
“What is happening?” Bride asks as she tries to move but is unable
“Move” Archon says as he tries to move his arm.
“God damn it” Lycus says as his body is in mid shift.
“Well this is fucked” Athan says also stuck
“Can anyone else move?” Aibelle calls as she can only move her eyes around the room.
“I can move” Dom says as he moves to take a step but the shaking in the room become so intense that Dom falls and crashes into Archon who was standing the closest to him.
“Get off me” Archon mutters
“I um can’t” Dom responds.
“Do, you see that? Dom’s head is stuck right into Archon crotch.” Tennessee gasps out between laughs
Tennessee bends over and laughs hysterically whilst Tito tries to maintain his balance as the room continues to shake and shudder.
“Ceiling” Jameson calls as a piece of the ceiling falls down narrowly missing Tennessee.
“Tennessee move you idiot” Tito growls as the chunks of the ceiling continue to fall around Tennessee.
“Um, slight problem?” Tennessee mutters as his laughter dies off.
“What?” Tito growls as he moves towards Tennessee
“I can’t move” Tennessee responds.
“Sh..” Tito calls before being stuck down with a large chunk of ceiling.
“Tito” Landon calls
“Tito, Tito” Jameson calls.
The room is filled with deep inhales and gasps as Tito falls to the ground unmoving.
The room continues to shake for a few more minutes before everything eventually settles down.
“Thank god for that” Lycus calls
“Is everyone ok?” Archon asks as he tries to twist his head.
“No, I am not alright, my ass is sticking out and I am practically bending over and I can’t get up” Tennessee calls.
“It could be worse” Landon calls
“How, how could it be worse?” Tennessee mutters.
“Well you could be being humped by one of us” Landon says laughingly.
Loud sounds of laughter fill the room, while Tennessee yells about how he will kill anyone that decides to try and hump him. Everyone jokes around trying to remove the tension that they feel as they are sitting ducks here. If the Queen decided to come back now, she would have no trouble killing any. Hell, they were all struggling just to blink or move their eyes. It was only because of being supers that they had the ability to talk inside their heads to each other. Otherwise, no one would be uttering a word.
“Do you think Tito is ok?” Tennessee asks
“He hasn’t moved” Landon responds.
“Tito?” Jameson calls again only to still receive no response.
“What do you think is going on?” Landon asks
“I don’t know, but for it to affect us god and goddesses it is some serious magic” Athan growls.
“This is ridiculous, who do you think is doing this?” Tennessee asks
“I am sure the Queen has something to do with this” Bride mutters
“Wait until I get my hands on her” Tennessee growls through the mind link.
“Tito” Jameson calls again.
“I can still feel his wolf” Lycus mutters to everyone
“At least we know that he isn’t dead” Tennessee mutters
As Jameson opens his mouth to call for his brother again. Athena lets out an ear-splitting scream that has everyone shuddering.
“Athena?” Erebus yells as Athena’s body bursts into flames. The flames are so intense that everyone could feel the heat coming off of her body.
The wave of heat intensifies before Athan, Bride, Aibelle, Lycus, Daimon and Archon yell through the mind link
