Chapter 12
London cont.
I remove my body from the seat in the car and look at Essy still knocked out and bleeding. I wish I had the ability to see if she is still breathing. My spirit flickers as the darker figure moves closer and lets some whistles, it tips its head to the side and waits for a bit but when nothing happens the figure slouches against the car like he is waiting for something.
The is night is eerily still and in the distance, you can hear the sound of an engine. The dark figure stands up and watches down the road as first the head lights of the oncoming car can be seen.
‘What the hell did you do?” the male that climbed out of the car yells
“Stopped the car” the dark shadow says before floating and walking into the male’s body.
The male wastes no time in running to Essy’s car and checking her. With great care he removes her from the car and carries her to his opening the back door he places her onto the back seat and wipes some hair from her face.
‘It’s ok beautiful we are going to make sure that you are ok” the male says as he jumps back and stares in horror.
Looking to the backseat of the car I see Essy is covered with flames that quickly catch the rest of the car on fire. The male closes his eyes and his spirit appears again and removes Essy from the car once the spirit is back in the male’s body with him holding her, he shimmers briefly and they disappear.
Taking a deep breath, I let my spirit follow their trail. When we arrive at the castle a strong feeling of doom settles over me. Knowing I need to tell the others I make sure that the male hasn’t hurt Essy. I follow them into his room where he places Essy on the bed. I stare at her and notice that she is unnaturally pale my heart breaks as she didn’t have her family around her when she stopped breathing. I take little notice of the conversation that the male is having with the other man that comes into the room an adviser I think he said. Once everything is quiet, I move forward hoping that I can reach Essy’s spirit but as per usual there is nothing there.
I watch as the male send his spirit into Essy’s body and part of me wants to cast a spell where is d**k will fall off if he does anything that will hurt her. But I should have known that wasn’t going to be a problem as, all of a sudden, an intense blinding heat forces his shadow out of Essy’s body. I watch in great amusement as he comes back crispy. It just means that we don’t have much time she needs her family now.
Disappearing from here I return to my body and immediately call Tito and the others.
I waste very little time once I am fully back in the present, I lurch for my phone and call Tito, Tennessee and Jameson on a group call.
When the ringing stops, I don’t waste time, we need to get Essy now.
“I found her” I gasp out.
“What?”
“Where?”
“Is she ok?”
They all say at once and instead of giving them what they are looking for I just continue with where she is. I tell them about her being taken to the castle after having an accident that was not her fault. I tell them about the male that can remove his spirit at will and the spirit was what caused the accident and that as soon as the man came, he picked her up and tried to take her. However, she had stopped breathing so she caught on fire and burnt his car to a crisp.
I told them that the male took her to the south wing of the castle “YES THE ROYAL CASTLE” I snap as Tennessee asked what castle. Seriously I sometime wonder how he runs a level of hell he can be so dim witted that I am sure a blown light bulb has more sense than him.
“We need to get to her fast, she is still in stasis and the more that we are not around her will leave us open to a very different Essy.” I finally take a breath not realising that I was speed talking.
“Ok, lets meet of the south side in twenty minutes” Tito says.
“I am here” Tennessee says
“So am I” Jameson mutters.
“Approaching now” I say as I walk up to my brothers.
“Did any one think that hey let’s stop by and pick up the brother that can’t teleport” Tito grumbles as we hear tearing and snapping of his bones.
“Honestly it didn’t occur to me” Tennessee says while looking at us with wide eyes
See totally dim witted.
“Couldn’t have been bothered and I didn’t want fleas” Jameson mumbles while looking equally shocked that it didn’t occur to him.
“It was one bloody time when I was a teenager, I can’t believe that you are going to keep bringing it up.” Tito growls as we hear him howl
“It took months and I mean months to get those little buggers out of my house and teleport bubble. I spent those months infesting everything and rocking up to work scratching like a f**king dog” Jameson mutters.
I hear the heavy breathing and panting coming through the line and look to the west where the pack lives. We know that it wouldn’t take Tito long to arrive as being an Alpha he was super-fast but every second was a second we weren’t with Essy.
“There” Tennessee calls as he point towards the wolf running towards us.
Tito shifts back to human and Jameson conjures a pair of pants for him. As we all stand there staring at the castle hidden the shadows we know what we have to do.
“Don’t get caught” Jameson says as he disappears
“Oooo the fun is starting. Lets knock some heads brother” Tennessee says as he too disappears like a child that has been told that he can have everything he has ever dreamed of.
“I wanted to do this quiet” Tito says as he strips off his pants and shifts back to his wolf.
“When have we ever been quiet” I says as I disappear with a wink.
Its time to get our sister back and have a little fun with the Royal family.
