Chapter 90
With a loud battle cry Jameson, Tennessee and Dom rush forward killing as many guards as they could. The guards didn’t stand a chance. As soon as the entered the house the guard would be dead.
As more continue to rush through the doors and window Jameson, Tennessee and Dom kill quickly without hesitation.
Once the guards slowly stopped entering the cabin and the numbers became less and less Tito whistled and moved towards the back of the house.
“I can’t help. Caleb, Essy and I have binding cuffs on” London tells the groups as they move to circle London, Tito and Hennessy as they move toward the safety of the forest.
“How long?” Hekate asks as she pops up beside London.
“Caleb believes we have been missing for two weeks. So, I would say that we have been missing for at least the long” London responds.
“Hmm” Hekate mutters and then with one touch of her finger the cuffs fall from London, Hennessy and Caleb arms.
“You may take a while to recover but you will recover.” Hekate mutters as she moves towards Hennessy.
“Has she woken up?” Hekate asks as she continues to scan over Hennessy.
“No, not since she passed out when she lost her tongue” London mutters as she hovers beside Essy.
“What about Hennessy, will she recover?” Caleb asks as he too comes to stand closer to where Hennessy lays.
“Anything else that has happened?” Tito asks as he paces back and forth.
“No they beat on us a little but apart from that they really just wanted Essy. My magic didn’t work and for some reason the glamour that we were put under didn’t work for Caleb, so he knew everything that was happening. If it wasn’t for him, I don’t think we would have made it out of there” London says shakingly to the group.
Dom walks through the group and wraps his arms around London and hugs her from behind.
“You did good. You survived” Dom whispers into London’s ear.
“We need Aibelle, where is Aibelle?” Hekate asks as she looks around the ground.
“Dead” Erebus mutters as he looks at Hekate.
“What?” Hekate responds looking at Erebus shocked.
“Shakti... Shakti killed her” Athan mutters as he looks down at the ground.
As the shock rolls through the other gods and goddesses Archon comes forward and whistle to gain everyone’s attention.
“As... As some of you may know. Shakti was taken many years ago and her soul was pushed into a super and that super was paired with another that had no right to have her. However, over the years she has been moulded and shaped to be a twisted version of her former self. When she came back after being release, we wanted to believe that she was whole and back to her previous self. However, I am sad to say she hasn’t reformed and has instead tricked the fated powers and has been granted passage back to us. Which means that now we have a very sick individual out there that hates us and wants revenge. The fact that she has killed Aibelle as well as Athena and almost me is a testament to what we are about to face. If you see her, you are to try and contain her if you can’t you need to run. I hereby announce that you are to travel in groups from this moment forward. I also believe that she is helping the Queen of supers as well as the black witch” Archon says as he makes eye contact with each and every goddess standing in the forest.
“You know for gods and goddesses your all a little dumb” Tennessee mutters
“ARGH! I don’t know how someone hasn’t killed you yet” Daimon mutters as he shakes his head at Tennessee.
“I raise my hand to kill him first” Athan calls as he looks at Tennessee and shakes his head also.
“DIBS! I call dibs” Erebus adds as he too looks a little shocked that he just called them dumb.
“Well I am not wrong” Tennessee says as he moves towards his brothers and sisters. Swirling his finger around near his head to indicate that they are in fact stupid.
“Where are we going to go? I mean Shakti knows about the cabin and its not like we can go into the kingdom as the Queen and the witch will be looking for us so where are we going to go?” London asks sadly.
“We are going to the heavenly realm. While it isn’t much safe there it will give everyone the chance to heal and get better before we have to face anyone for a while. Hekate and the others have put up a spell that will prevent Shakti entering. But it may mean that some of us can’t enter as well” Archon says to the group.
“It is a pure of heart spell, as the spell names suggests that you can’t enter if you don’t have a pure heart. So hopefully you are all pure hearted” Archon says with a small chuckle.
“When you say pure hearted, what do you mean exactly? Does wanting to kill my enemies make me ill hearted. Is ill hearted a thing?” Tennessee asks as he looks to Tito and Jameson.
“London, is my heart ill?” Tennessee asks as he walks closer to London and gets her to put her hand on his chest
“Don’t touch me” London says laughingly as Tennessee continues to walk around asking the others to touch his heart to see if he is ill hearted.
“One hundred precent going to kill you” Athan mutters as he takes a step towards Tennessee.
“Tito, the big scary god says he is going to kill me. Quick bark at him” Tennessee yells as he runs behind Tito.
“Shut up Tennessee” Tito growls as he tries to stop Tennessee hiding behind him.
“You are my big brother you are meant to protect me” Tennessee whines as he continues to dodge Athan as he continues to try and reach him.
“Say goodbye Tennessee” Athan mutters as he uses his teleporting power and pops up right behind Tennessee.
“Good bye Tennessee” Tennessee mutters with a smile before disappearing behind Athan
As Tennessee laughs, Athan growls out his annoyance.
“St…stop”
