Her Smart Moves

Ava's POV


I walked to the dress I kept on the bed to wear after shower, looking elegant as ever

After putting on the dress, I walked past my room door then opposite the door leading outside through the living room

I walked real slow, didn't quite understood why she was so quiet and still unlike other days when she would hit the door or shout at the top of her voice

I reached out for the door knob and opened the door, I did it in a violent way so she know she shouldn't mess with me

I looked at her with my arms crossed then I scuffed

"You decided to be quiet today huh?" I raised my chin towards her

She stayed quiet, she didn't say anything, even if she wanted to, it would be of faint air

I made sure I tied her mouth really tight adding her legs and hands to it so she could learn some lessons from trying to run away again

"Oh you can't talk" I laughed "Your loud mouth is tied up" I gave a chuckle and pointed at her

"I would make your sister plead for mercy" I said with all the graving anger that surfaced

After saying that, "I would bring something for you to eat, I'm not as heartless as your sister" I rolled my eyes and walked away

Then I turned and slammed the door hard to her face, I would hear some faint cry from where Nancy was kept

A part of me felt bad but I had to take off such thoughts from my head because that wasn't how people felt when I needed help


I walked to the kitchen, I remembered that I kept some sausage I fried but couldn't eat it because I was running out of time

"Yes!" I smiled and thanked God for some sausages because I wasn't going to prepare anything at the moment

So I carried the sausage and placed them on a wide plate with little stripes of red on it, I placed the sausages on them and walked back to her

I hesitated a little before touching the door knob but when I did, I did with all power so that she won't sense a bit of fear in me

"Here" I used my hand to push it to her

She shaked her face, looking at me in the most strange way, then her eyes looked down to her mouth

"Oh yeah" her mouth… I should have known

I walked close to her, her hands and legs were tied so there was nothing to worry about, I went closer and held her face real tight squeezing her mouth out

"If you try anything stupid, I would fuck your life up" I said to her, I know her to be determined to set herself free at the slightest chance

She only smiled

I untied the towel I used to tie her mouth, then I stood up and move away from her

"Hurry, I would be back in five minutes" I told her then walked out of the room, I saw how she struggled to get the food to her mouth because her hands was tied

I walked back to the living room, I had things to do this night, getting promoted comes with more of it's responsibilities but I wanted Nancy to finish up her food

I sat on the sofa, stretched my hand to the TV control, turned the TV on to watch my favourite channel until Nancy finish

"Ohh" I had just noticed that today was Tuesday, my favourite channel comes up every Friday, so I had to watch something else

After spending a few minutes at the TV, Nancy finally made a noise, I muted the TV and walked to the door

I opened it and faced her then to the plate, she took every piece that I gave her. I went closer with a smile

"Good" I took the plate to the door then walked back to her to tie her mouth up

"Can I please have some water?" she asked

She looked so dry and dehydrated, she sure needed some very good water

I looked at her then walked to the plate, picked it up and walked out of the room

I came back with a glass of water for her to drink, I placed it in the middle of her tied hand for her to drink, which she did

"Thanks" she said after drinking

I took the glass and went to the door and kept it on the floor close to the door, I've watched instances of when the person breaks a glass and pretend to do it on mistake… then take a piece of the bottle

So, it most certainly crossed my mind, especially when dealing with someone as smart as she is

I went back to tie up her mouth, then I went back to the door, took the glass and went out of the room

I went straight to the kitchen, cleaned up the dishes and walked to my room, I needed some rest and needed to work

I need to get some paperwork done and send to the printing department before Helsi rip my head off

"Oh yes" I said and fell face down on my bed, then I turned to my phone to call my fiancé

(Phone Rings)

"Hey" he said over the phone in a tired voice

"Are you tired?"

"Yeah, I've been stressed out, Argh!"

"What's wrong?" Ava asked over the phone

"The coffee I left beside me" he sounded distracted

"It poured?"

"Yes, give me a minute babe" he said over the phone
