We Need To See!



Helsi's POV


"Ma'am do you need anything?" the taller maid asked, she noticed her tired she looked

"I need a glass of red.." she paused, remembered that she has a baby growing in her womb who still wants to live "A glass of water would do" she nodded her head

"OK ma'am" she lowered her knees then walked out of the room

"I need to go back" Helsi said to herself, thought of how her mum would feel, after everything she had done for her, taking her out of the scratch and cleaning her and her sister up

"That's right… my sister" Helsi said to herself

She picked her phone to call her private investigator before a call came in

"Mardrigo?" she looked at her phone in shock

"Why would he call me? This is so unusual" She scuffed

After hesitating for a little while, she picked the call

"Helsi" he said after a long silence, which he expected her to have said something first

"What do I owe this call?" He asked so abruptly

"We need to see… now"

"What for?" She had to ask, his ways were never pure and clean

"I would tell you about it when we meet" he said firmly

(Door Knock)

"Yes" she said but to the door

"OK, I would take that as an agreement" Mardrigo said over the phone

"I wasn't talking to you" Helsi said

"Ohh thank you darling, it's very warm and just the way I like it" Helsi said to the maid

Mardrigo kept quiet, waited for her to finish up her statement with her maid

"So?" She gave a deep sigh

"What were you saying?" She added

"When did you become so rude and arrogant?" Mardrigo asked, sounded upset

"I won't see you until you tell me what you need to see me for and that's final" Helsi said

"It's about your fucking sister" Mardrigo said and ended the call

"What?" the water she dran, went to the wrong side of her throat at his statement, which made her cough really hard, she couldn't breath so well, she reached out for her glass of water but on reaching it, it fell to the ground


"Mara" She called out in her creaky choking voice

"Help" she walked slowly to the door

"Ma'am? Is everything OK" she was just standing outside the door, lucky for Helsi to get some help

For the house was very huge and dying before seeing help was going to be easy

She built it behind Tom's nose, she knew how the rich men work, she was smart enough to stuck her bag especially for her kids which she prayed for not until now had her prayers been answered

She used two years to build this…

"This mansion?" Lusi screamed at the top of her voice

"Come in and stop doing like a fish" Helsi laughed

"Oh My God, does Tom know about this?" Lusi asked

"No" she gave her that looks

"Ohh, he was never going to know, I mean Joy needs to see this when she comes to the country"

"She will" Helsi smiled

"How the fucking hell did you keep this on the low, so silent, not even to me or Joy?" Lusi tapped her shoulders "I'm mad at you for this"

"I'm sorry, I've honestly had a lot to deal with in these past few days… I hired a new secretary Ava, she seems talented and would be of good use to the company's growth" She nodded her head with a glass

"We need to celebrate this victory" Lusi smiled

"Just me and you…" She then rolled her eyes "And Joy, but she has refused to come to America"

"She's making her cool money there to, we could go over to her place too" Lusi suggested

"Yeah we could, and" The smile that was dancing all over her face started fading away

"What?" Lusi asked with her hands placed at the door knob to open it

"His mistress keeps interfering in our sexual relationship" she rolled her eyes "That's what happened last night again"

"Argh!" He irritates me all the time, she quickly turned back to her covering her mouth "I'm sorry"

"No, it's fine, it's all his fault since he couldn't control his third legs when other ladies spray it out to him, or… " She paused

"Don't add or to it, its entirely his fault" Lusi squeezed her face, but because she was finding it difficult to open the door

"This way" Helsi walked in to help "You know… I can't bear him a child and it keeps haunting me, probably that's the reason why he does that, to get him a child"

"Don't say that Helsi, please don't" Lusi said


"Is everything OK ma'am?" Clara asked again

"I need some more water and clean up that mess I made" She points towards the broken glass laying on the floor

"Yes ma'am" Mara ran down to get some water for her to get herself

Helsi stood up and walked to her cell phone to dial his number again

After the second time

"Pick up your call you mother.." he picked before she completed her statement

"What do you mean by it's about my sister?" she asked

"I know who is responsible, so if would just drop your ego and listen to me, then we could probably achieve something" He said over the phone

"Where do you want us to meet?" She asked

"At a building, I just came out of jail so I won't be doing public places… you know the drill"

"I'm out of that equation please, what building?" she knew exactly what he was talking about

"I would drop the location, today by 6pm, I would be waiting there for you"

"OK" She said as he ended the call, she intend to go back to Lusi's home that moment but getting some information about her sister was more important than anything else

"Hmm" She felt good and better after drinking the warm glass of water Mara brought for her the second time
