Lusi's POV

Lusi was completely relieved that Tom had been sent to jail and she can freely move around the house like she had always wanted, not just around the house but absolutely anywhere

"So he is permanently locked now right?" Lusi asked Helsi

"Yes"

"Phew, what should have been done a very long time ago, just imagine when people run away from someone because he hurt people, why can't everyone be cool and kind?"

"I know right, he wasn't like this when we initially got married but he was showing the signs, I just chose not to believe it" Helsi sighed but she kept on dressing

"I got some milk out for her so that she can take when she I hungry" Helsi said pointing to the direction that she kept the milk and then looked at her baby sleeping

"Are you heading to work?" Lusi asked

"Yeah I am, I would first head to pick Racheal's child from the Orphanage and bring him home then I would head off to work" Helsi said

Then she stood up from her mirror and went to pick her bag to leave, she was ready to head out. She walked to her baby sleeping and kissed her "I love you baby, mummy would be back soon" she spoke to her baby, then turn to face Lusi

"If you need anything, call me, I won't stay long though my attention is urgently needed at work that's why I am going to work if not I wouldn't have

"Aye Aye Captain" Lusi responded

"We are not sailing the ocean" Helsi laughed

"You look amazing"

"Thanks darling" Helsi smiled "I need to go now"


"OK"

"I would just let Butrico and mami know when I would be off"

"Alright, take good care of yourself" Lusi said

"Yeah I will" Helsi responded and left to the living room

She walked down and met them having some pancake and orange juice

"Someone is heading out" Mami said on seeing how beautifully dressed Helsi was

"Yes mami" Helsi responded

"Looking beautiful as always" Butrico said after taking a bite

"I would be heading to the boy first then to work, my attention is urgently needed and I have to be there but I won't say long there" Helsi said

"OK dear, Angel is still sleeping?" mami asked

Butrico was almost pushed to say "Beauty" because that was the name he chose for her baby but it's all her decision

"Yes mami, she is still sleeping but I've showed Lusi everything she needs for the baby and if my attention is needed, she would call me" Helsi responded

"Alright, you need me to drop you off?" Butrico asked

"Are you heading to work too?" Helsi asked because he looked dressed already

"As you can see" he opened his arms widely to show off his suit

"I'm heading now, I have to leave now and you are still eating now, so… ?"

"I'm done" he stood and quickly drank the juice on his glass

"OK" mami laughed "And both of you should drive safe please" mami blew a kiss

"Yes mum, we will" Butrico ran to get his car keys

And they both headed out

Butrico went through the orphanage to drop Helsi off for the kid the drive off to work

"Thanks" she waved while he drop off

Mami stayed in the living room for a long time and noticed that Lusi hadn't been out, she went up to meet her

She opened the door and saw her lying on the bed, she was shaking but covered in a big duvet on Helsi's bed

"What's wrong sweetie?" she asked as she went closer to know

"I don't feel so good" Lusi responded but in a low tone

"What's wrong?" her mum asked in a low tone too, she knew it was because of the baby that Lusi replied in that manner

"I don't know, I might have to go to the clinic for that" Lusi responded

"Do you need me to go to the pharmacy to get some drugs for you?"


"No!" she opened her eyes widely, and said that almost too loud then she turned to make sure that she did not wake the baby up, after confirming that, she turned and laid on the bed again

"No mami, I can't do that"

"I am not a child you know and I can take care of myself"

Lusi laughed "I didn't say you are a child and secondly, kids not get attacked these days, women do because they are stronger"

"Have you forgotten the kung-fu skills that I took from your grandfather, my father?"

"Jezz mum" Lusi laughed "Those are old school dance" she laughed even more but in a way that won't wake the baby up

"I remember those days when he used to take me dancing to his favourite club, he does that when he has a little quarrel with mum and I become his wife just for that minute then after they resolve their issue, I am no longer recognisable" mami kept laughing as she said these words


"Yes, mum this would be the one millionth time you've told me about this"

"What? I already told you about it?"

"Mum" Lusi called out with a soft chuckle

"You would feel better darling, my love for you would make you healed" Mami touched her face

"Are you a magician or a prophetess now?"

"I am both for you my love"

"Thanks mum, I actually feel better" Lusi said and smiled

"I told ya" mami responded and stood up from the bed "Let me prepare something for you and the workers that just left so they would have something to eat when they get back home"

"Alright mum, I would be down with you when I can" Lusi said

"Oh no, you don't have to, I am more than capable to do it on my own" Mami responded

"Alright mum"


"Yeah, you should only come down if you need anything because I might not hear you if you call out to me" mami said

"Aye Aye Captain"

Mami nodded her head with a smile and walked out of the room, went downstairs to prepare lunch

Lusi knew that she was battling with chronic depression and might have to leave the country for specialised treatment, she had gone out of the country to meet a therapist when she lost her baby

So she had in mind to do the same thing
