Who Is The New Guy!


Lusi's POV


"Ohh babe" I almost screamed when I my hubby coming down the stairs

"I've missed you sweetheart" he ran towards her

"I really hate how work separates us sometimes," Lusi said. Wait!!! Is this so?

"Well, I'm here for at least two weeks" Paul kissed her forehead

"Welcome to London" She motioned her hands around

"I'm very tired and I need a lot of rest," He bent tirelessly to carry his bag up to go to the car

"Ohh darling, well I prepared your favourite meal"

"Gosh!!! I can't wait, how I've missed my wife's cooking" He said hurriedly to the car

Lusi drove him back home, she was expecting Helsi to be at home

"Wow, this place's changes is mind blowing" Paul noticed their new neighbours

"You've been away for six months, what do you expect? For it to remain the same?" Lusi scuffed

"A new neighbour?"

"Yes, they came in last week and…" she pulled him in fast, opening her eyes wide open "I heard that, first of all she ran away from her mum that tried to kill her, I just hope her mum doesn't trace her to this place, I don't want trace of blood here please" She rolled her hand

"Is she married?" Paul asked looking at their home through his glass window

"With two beautiful girls"

"I would go to see them later, after my rest" he replied

"Alright, just don't get too involved in their life"

"Yes boss" Paul smiled as he left the living room to go upstairs "What about mum?"

"She went out to have some fun with a childhood friend" Lusi looked around for Helsi "I thought she would stay at home" she thought out loud

"Your mum?" Paul asked

"No, am talking about Helsi" Lusi smiled "She got a new hit, she deserves it, she has really been a mess lately so she need to have some fun"

"Yeah she does, when I am off to the bed, I will have my meal when I wake up, are they all coming home soon?"

"No, don't worry, just take your time" Lusi said


Paul went to the shower to clean himself quickly, he laid on the bed like he had never seen a bed before or laid on one during his work period "I miss this, they squeeze the very last blood out of our skin at work, we literally have no time to sleep" he said to Lusi who was on her phone

"I can only imagine, at least you have two weeks to rest" she looked at him briefly then turned to her phone

"Yeah" he touched the pillow with so much love and desire "I've missed you too"

Lusi lowered her phone, then threw a flirtatious smile "I've missed you too but you are tired, just regain your strength back"

"I will"

Lusi went downstairs to make a call, not to disturb his sleep

"How is it going mum?" Lusi asked over the phone

"Huh?"

"I can't shout, can you move away from the-" she was interrupted

"I can't hear you baby, I would get back to you when I can, this place is loud" her mum said and ended the call

"Don't get yourself arrested please" Lusi said beneath her breath

She kept cellphone on a book close to the bookshelf, then walked to the living room to watch a movie

Butrico and Joy came in right before she could even sit for a movie

"Hey babe" Joy said

"Hey, I was about to watch a movie" She finally sat down after their entrance

"Is he upstairs?" Butrico asked

"And sleeping, he is quite exhausted and really needed the sleep" Lusi said with her eyes on the TV show

"What about Helsi?" Joy asked

"Didn't she tell you guys?" Lusi smiled and turned to them

"She found the person that did that and her sister" Butrico said really fast

"Erhmm, no but hopefully she does" Lusi replied

"Alright, we have no other guesses so just tell us" Joy said

"She have a guy, he is a new guy though but they've clicked so deep, she went over to see him, I'm so happy for her and she needs a break from all this" Lusi's attention was fully on them

"Yeah, she does" Butrico agreed

"So who is this new guy?" Joy went close to have a sit

"I don't have much details on him, but she will give us when she gets back, she only said his name is Jude, a CEO"

"Jude?" Butrico seemed confused

"Yes, isn't it great?"

"Yeah" Butrico went back for his removed coat "I would be right back" he said and left almost in a hurry

"OK"


Butrico drove away

"Here" Helsi reminded, he seem to be going past the street

Jude came in

"OK" He drove down the street back, then finally traced her house "This right?" Jude asked

"Yes, thank you" Helsi responded

"Alright" he stopped his car for her to get down, then carried his phone to see the countless missed calls and emails Butrico sent

"Thank you" Helsi said again

He hadn't noticed that she is already down from the car until she said it again

"Sorry my bad, was totally lost in thought" he adjusted his head to face her "Do you want me to come in?"

"You don't have to, maybe some other time, it's already getting late"

"Alright, take good care of yourself" Jude blew a kiss

"It's going to take me a long time to process what had just happened"

She walked up to the door, Jude was already gone, she took in air several times before she opened the door only to find Joy and Lusi staring and smiling through the window

"Who is he?" Joy couldn't even let her come in properly

"Yes, who is he?" Lusi added

"He is just a friend you guys, it could lead to something but I'm not interested now, I've got a lot tabled on mind that needed to be attended to" Helsi rolled her eyes
