Butrico's POV


"I'm really sorry" he pressed on to hug her

"He promised me that he would be back"

"I know, really sorry about that"

"Stop it, don't be sorry, it's already happened and it's not your fault at all, what about Helsi?" she looked around for her

"She is in the car, was having some abdominal pain" he replied

"OK, do you want to see him?" she asked

"Paul?" he asked

"Yes, he is over there" she points to the room

"Don't worry, Helsi already showed me"

"Ohh" she clean her face for another fresh tears

"What would happen to me now?"

"Nothing, we all would be here for you"

"Now I am officially a widow, no husband"

"Don't say that, you have 3 other husbands" Butrico said

Lusi didn't understand what he meant by that statement

"Where?" she asked

"Me, Helsi and Joy"

She smiled "Ohh really?"

"Yes"

"Helsi told you about her engagement?" Lusi asked

"Who?"

"Joy, she got engaged and would be getting married next week" Lusi replied

"Ohh wow, that's a great news" Butrico said but without smiling, he knew the heated situation and he knew Lusi to be the type to pretend like she wasn't dying

"Yeah… following a sad news" she touched her neck

"I am really… I wished I could help"

"Nah, it's fine" Lusi singed her hand

"Where is Helsi?" Lusi asked again

"In the car" he responded

"Alright let's go then"

She said and walked away, he turned her face to the opposite direction to where her husband was laid

She walked refast to the car and Butrico followed her


"Could it be labour?" Lusi asked

"I am not sure about it but she said that her time is next month not this month"

"Shit happens"

Butrico opened the entrance door for her to go out, the car wasn't so far from it so they could see Helsi crying in the car

They both rushed to her

"Hey, are you sure you shouldn't go to the clinic, it seems critical" Lusi said to Helsi

"Hey, erhmm" she looked at her then to Butrico, she was shocked to see Lusi at that state

"How was the meeting with the Doctor?" Helsi asked Lusi

"Not important, I don't want to talk about it" she responded


"Are you sure?" Helsi asked as she groaned in pain

"You are more important right now, I can't do anything to change what has happened so we have to prevent another" Lusi said

"So we head to your clinic, have d you informed your personal Doctor?"

"Yeah, I called when Butrico left and he said it's not yet time but it's just a normal pain felt during pregnancy and I would feel better by tomorrow"

"Wow, you would be in this pain for a whole 24 hours?" Butrico asked

"Maybe" Helsi adjusted her chair "Should we go in?"

"No, we are heading home now" Lusi said

"Home?" Butrico asked

"Yes, I left my mum alone and I also need to tell her about it"

"OK" Butrico said and turned to the other side of the car to drive her home like she wished

"Yeah" Lusi said and entered the back side of the car

Helsi groaned in pain at the front car, she was getting really uncomfortable "I wish I could just cut of my stomach, remove my baby and throw my stomach away" Helsi cried out

"I totally understand, have had a lot of losses though" she sighed "That's why I cherish my mum so much" she said in a low tone

Helsi had lost a child at the early stage of her marriage with Paul

It started with a slight pain to a mighty pain, that she couldn't bear

She fell unconscious, Paul wasn't home when it happened and she wasn't close to her phone nor could she scream for help, the pain was crucial

She couldn't even raise a finger, all her body was in pain, she was really tired and just wanted the baby out again

It was already too late when Paul came home with some friends and saw her lying on the floor restless

Before he could rush to the clinic, she started bleeding, it was so fast that the place she sat on the car was already badly stained

She kept shouting and crying in pain, and all Paul was doing was

"Sorry, the baby would be out soon" he kept saying that and taping her

"Not something to even imagine" Lusi faced the window

"Really sorry about that" Butrico said from the driver's seat where he was driving


"So are we heading home now or to the clinic for Helsi?" Lusi asked seated at the back of the car

"Home" Helsi responded

"OK"

Butrico drove really gentle and was constantly checking on Helsi

She was already sweating real bad and staying in the car was a really bad idea

After her next scream, he drove faster

"I told my private investigator to come over tomorrow for us to talk about things that we need to talk about" Helsi said

"OK, are you sure that you can stay for the meeting?" Butrico asked

"Yes I can, I would feel better before then. 8 told him to come late in the afternoon, so I've got enough time to get over this pain" Helsi replied

He drove on really fast, he looked at how Lusi was fairing behind the car through his front mirror, he saw that she kept crying looking out of the window but she did this without any noise

Butrico had never wished for something so bad like he wished he wasn't involved in that terrible accident

Lusi cleaned her eyes when they got home, she came down to help Helsi get down from the car

They all walking into Lusi's mum who was already getting worried at the living room

"I've been sick and worried about you guys" mami said in a calm voice, she felt better seeing Lusi but she noticed her swollen face like she had been crying and she also noticed that Helsi was in pain

Butrico helped Helsi to her room, leaving Lusi with her mum

"He's dead mum" Lusi said in a teary voice
