He Wanted Revenge By All Means


Tom's POV

After examining all the workers, he got to understand that none of them was at home when it happened nor did they see whoever was responsible for his mum's problem

He sent them all away to their home except David, he chose to stay with David because he needs him

Tom picked his phone to call his mum to confirm if she really saw Madrigo, he was sure he saw Mardrigo going over to his place when the police came to his house the second time to take him but he didn't want to believe that he would attack his mum

(Phone Rings)

"Hi mum"

"What's the problem?" His mum sounded upset over the phone

"I just need to confirm that you were sure of what you saw"

"Confirm what?"

"That it was Mardrigo that you saw?" he said more like a question

"Are you kidding me?" she said over the phone and ended the call

"Of course" he sighed

His concern was his child, Helsi

He came out of the house and went straight to his car, he knew exactly where to find Helsi. So he ordered David to get ready to take him off to Lusi's home

He knew and was very sure that she would be there since she wasn't at home when he got back

(Phone beeps)

He turns to his phone, and saw the message his lawyer sent to him about the documents they had discussed when they left the courtroom

"Alright" he said to himself as he scanned through the never ending documents, then he put the phone into his left pocket after scanning through everything

"I'm going to Lusi's home" he said to David as he walked close to the car

"Yes sir" He said and hurried to the car to open it for him

After Tom had entered he rushed to the other side of the car and entered to drive on

He know that Tom liked it when he drives really fast and it has gotten them in a lot of trouble in the past but they always found their way through it

"Do you still remember her place?" David asked behind the car

"Yes sir, I do" David replied as he drove

"You take her there regularly huh?" Tom brought out his cigarette to smoke in the car

"No sir, I don't" he gave a deep sigh and continued

"I never saw her after you left" he added

"Is that so?" Tom asked

"Very much so sir" he replied, he didn't want to show any form of doubt or fear because Tom could use that to get to him

"Alright, face the road before you get us killed" Tom responded with a harsh voice

David faced the road like he was ordered to, he wasn't happy that Tom was back because it was the beginning of his sorrowful life

They got to her home

"Stop here" Tom said

David stopped two streets before her home

"I will walk from here" Tom said and got down from the car, he felt dumb because he didn't get any gifts to please her to accept his offer

But he kept on walking to her home anyways

He took in some air when he got to the door, and adjusted his collar properly

(Door Knocks)

Lusi heard the door knock, she wasn't expecting anybody so did her mum who was already back home

"Are you sure that you are not expecting someone?" Lusi asked again

"I'm sure darling, just go see who the person is"

"OK" Lusi walked to the door, opened it and has never been shocked

That fucking day that Helsi left, had she stayed longer, he would have met her

"What are you here for?" She looked him straight to the eyes

"Do I have to say?"

"Yes, do I owe you anything?" she asked

"Yes in fact you do" he tilted his head to look into the house which was slightly open to his sight

Lusi noticed this and pushed the door tight to her skin for him not to see anything

"I thought you were smarter than this Tom" Lusi gave a pitiful face

"Where's Helsi?, enough with the stupid jokes"

"She is not here" She said

"Let's just bring her out at the happy note that we are now"

"What? Are you threatening me? You want me to call the police?"

At the mention of police, all his senses rose up, he didn't want to go back to Karim again under that circumstance

"Has it gotten to that my dear?" he said in a strange and calm way

He never showed his weakness

"I'm not your dear, don't call me that and please if you don't have any other thing to say, leave, I have something very important doing inside" Lusi said to him with all confidence

Tom stared at her for a long time then turned to walk away, this was a total slap to his face and he vowed that he was going to come back for her but not as the good guy he just portrayed at the moment

He kept grinding his teeth until he got to the car, David saw him fuming out of anger from a distance, he knew that he had to be prepared for whatever he brings

David rushed out of the car to open the other side for Tom to go in, David was feeling the heat Tom carried with him, heat of anger

He didn't come back with Helsi, David knew something was wrong because he haven't heard from her and he was sure that she was not at her place because he had call to inform her of his presence but couldn't reach her

"Let's go" Tom said in a deep angered voice

"Home sir?" David asked

"To the Mardrigo's"

"Understood sir," David started the car immediately and drove off to the home of Mardrigo like he had been ordered to

The drive was long, but fast so they got there faster than expected

Tom was quiet during the drive, he was constantly on his phone like he was trying to reach someone, it must be his wife, or rather… ex-wife

But his fuming face showed that he couldn't reach her
