Helsi's POV


Even after flattering himself about being an expert in driving, he drove real careful and was constantly aware of the time, so that she won't miss her appointment

"Here right?" He stopped at the sight of the company

"Yes" She raised her back, her eyes going through everyone around which are the police

"You want me to come with you?"

Helsi turned to look at him "You are not going to work today?"

"I am the CEO, remember… I can decide to go or not, so do you want me to come with you?" He asked again

"You can, if you wish" She came down from the car

"Alright" He joined her down

He noticed that their had been a lot of changes in the company, he just looked around while Helsi had some chat with the police, he knew that she had a lot of work to do

"This man, you saw him?" a police officer having discussion with Helsi asked her

"That day it happened?"

"Yes, do you by any means recognise him?" He asked again

"No, I was in my office when they attacked the next door where my sister was" She said just to her knowledge

"OK, this man was among the people responsible for her kidnap,"

"Among the people?" Helsi asked

"Yes, he told us that his colleague was killed on the process and he was seriously injured when we found him"

"Did he say anything about where my sister is?"

"Yes he did, he said she was handed over to a lady but she let her go"

"Who?"


"There are a lot of ties in this, but since we've got him, we sure would get others" The police officer assured her

"OK"

"Yes, I would send all the necessary information you need to your email address" the police officer smiled, then stretched his hand for a handshake

"Congratulations" he said during the handshake

"Pregnancy sucks" she said with a laugh

After the conversation with the police and other police, she went in quickly because the press had already start coming to ask their never ending questions

She walked into her office, looking at every corner then to the ground, then all the events of the kidnap flashed back immediately

She realised her head immediately to get rid of the nightmare

(Phone Rings)

Helsi turned to her phone to see who called

"Hey babe" She said over the phone

"Oh how I've missed you" Jude said over the phone

"I have been missing you too, these last fews days without you have been the worst, when are you coming to see me?"

"I will tomorrow"


"Tomorrow?" she had to ask again

"Yes, I already booked my flight" he replied


"Ohh wow, that's great, I can't wait to see you"

"Yeah, I love you"

"I love you too" She responded

"Alright have a nice day, that's just what I wanted to tell you"

"OK then" she said and hung up

She opened her mouth widely in shock, she wasn't expecting him to come that early

She quickly searched for Lusi and dialled her number

"Hey" Helsi said immediately she picked the call

"Guess what?" Helsi didn't even allow her speak

"What?"

"Jude is coming over tomorrow" Helsi sounded really happy about it

"Wow, that's great, how have you been faring at Butrico's place?" Lusi wasn't interested in Jude and his movements

"He has been the best host ever, he makes sure I'm properly taken care of"

"Sure, I know he would do a great job taking care of you than anybody else"

"Is everything OK?" Helsi asked over the phone

"Tom came over yesterday looking for you at my house"

"Oh My, hope he did not hurt you?"

"No he did not, I had to stand my ground do he won't get to me with his threats" Lusi responded

"I'm really sorry about that, maybe I would just go back to prevent any other person getting injured by his aggression"

"No, it's fine and besides I suggested that you stay with Butrico, sooo" '


"Was it Tom that spoiled your mood?"

"No, not at all and I'm doing great" Lusi said over the phone

"OK"

"Does he know that you are pregnant?" Lusi asked

"Tom?"

"No" she laughed over the phone, I mean Jude, does he know that you are pregnant?"

" No, not yet "


" And if he kneels to propose to you to marry you… you would accept? "

" I'm going to tell him when he comes tomorrow, I didn't want to tell him over the phone, I wanted it to be in person "


" OK" Lusi responded

"Where are you right now?" Lusi asked

"Am at work at the moment" Helsi responded

"You want me to come join you?" Lusi asked

"Get some rest, you need it"

"Alright, if you need anything just let me know" Lusi said

"Yes I will" Helsi responded

"One more thing, I'm waiting for the voice note from your sister"

"Yes mummy, I have not forgotten either" Helsi said

"Alright, I need to adjust to some things at work then I would head home, Butrico is with me right now"

"Send my regards to him"

"Alright dear, take care of yourself" Helsi said and hung up

She walked out and went to Butrico, who was having some discussion with the police officer

"Hey, can we go?"

"So soon?" he was surprised that she wanted to leave just few hours of their arrival

"I need to attend to something" She said without any emotions, wondering why he would ask her such question

"OK"

He left and walked to his car, opened the other side for Helsi to go in, then he drove off

"Is everything OK?"

Helsi got fed up "For christ sake, I'm not a teenager that you have to be asking me what I'm doing or where I'm going, if I need help, I certainly would say it"

"OK, I'm sorry" he apologised

"Please just take me home" she said

The drive was quiet, not what Butrico expected but he knew exactly how she felt now and he didn't want to keep pushing to the point that she might hate him

She came down from the car, when they got home. She didn't want him to open the door for her, she has hands and she didn't want any feelings developing because of that

Butrico watched as she opened the door and walked inside

She went straight to her room, to get her room nice and kept, she went further to arrange her things, packing it incase Jude decides to take her with him
