She Is Gonna Rot With Me



David's POV


I knew I had to get hold of my emotions and face reality

His home was all of a sudden filled with the police, the press ordered to stay far away

"Let's continue" David came in, he changed his mind and was ready to talk about it

"Are you sure about this Mr David?" The police officer kept his gloves directly opposite his lenses as look deeply into David's eyes "We would get deeper on it as time goes on, there's no need to rush and besides we can't get all the facts today"


"Which means you need somd facts" David raised his hands "And I'm ready to give you some… the one I know" talking to the police requires specific facts and not assumptions, he had to make that clear

The officer motioned for his colleague to join the conversation

"Go on" He raised his brows

"Like I said before, Tom came first about three days ago, asking after her and… and that was how I knew she had been sleeping with him for a long time, then coming today, he spoke to her alone outside, I wasn't interested in their talks so I stayed inside here"

"OK" The police officer sighed "First, am sure you did not like the fact that she had been sleeping somewhere else, then how did your conversation with him go three days back?"

"We just raised our voices on each other, no violent act"

"What about yesterday?Why didn't you join their conversation?"

"I… wait" David knew where they were heading "Do you think I would kill my wife?"

"We did not say that, but at this moment anybody could be a suspect and she had a lot of issues with people around lately including with you, are you guys officially married?" the officer was being thorough

"Yes, we are and I did not, you have to take those assumptions out of your head, are you here to help or what?" Tom raised his voice, he was angry, he stood up

"Don't worry Mr David, we won't ask a further question, if you are needed then you would be called" The assistant police officer said

"OK" Tom said beneath her breath, he really wasn't expecting this, wasn't prepared for it after similar experience he had when he was younger, his sister was killed by her kidnappers

"Do you want me to come over?"

"No mum, I don't want to pull you into this" David said over the phone

"I've been in this situation, it's fine, we find a way out of it eventually don't we?" It shattered mum's life when she couldn't find her baby

"Yes mum, but avoiding the problem in the first place helps prevent finding a way out"


"You need your mother" his mum insisted

"I would be just fine mum, I just need you not to worry about me"

"I can't believe she would stoop so low to do this, cheating" she scuffed "When she has a child of her own, what would her child hear about his mother, how she slept with God knows how many more who decided to remain recluse"

"It's OK mum, it's just Tom" David jumped in

"And how do you know that exactly?"

"Because she said it and I trust her, at least to some extent"

"I never liked her, just so you'd know and don't forget to bring my grandson for son if his life would be at stake" Mum said as she hung up the call


"Mr David" a female police officer called out from the living room "Your attention is needed here please" she repeated

David kept his cell phone beside his bed, which was close to his well designed brown drawer

"Yes officer, what's the problem?" Tom asked, he had concern all over his face

"Sorry, if we interrupted you with something, but I need to know something, are you the biological father to her child?"

"Yes I am" David laughed, strange question

"OK, we would have to confirm it with your DNA please" the female officer came closer with a document and a pen for him to sign

"Sign to what?" David can be very sceptical about signing some documents that could scam people

"Signing in agreement to conducting a DNA test to prove you are his biological father" she showed him where it was written on the document

"OK" Tom went in to get dressed to follow them with his son to the hospital to confirm their relationship




Tom's POV



I called Madrigo immediately I was far enough from Racheal's home

"There's a change of plan" Tom said over the phone

"Hold on, I think Helsi is just coming home now, erhg, she looks like a mes" Madrigo was jubilating that at least he could liberate his family by just killing her

"Leave that place and go home, didn't you hear the first thing I said? Change of plans" Tom screamed over the phone

He sound tensed and scared, like he was being chased by a wolf, Madrigo could sense it

"What's wrong Tom?" Mardrigo came down from the wood he used to assist his knees

"Racheal was shot, go home Madrigo, go home and let's resolve this first"

"What about my Family?, You have them under your nose" Madrigo pointed out

"I would keep them under my care, just do as I say" Tom said as he hung up the call

Madrigo got upset, he could not understand why Tom would make such a sudden decision and sweep him off his feet, it was getting to him, he has been patient enough for him


Madrigo went over to Tom's home, he wanted to confront him himself and kill him, he has been a pain in the ass for a long time


Tom drove slowly, going back home, processing what had just happened, going back and forth with the scenario in his head

"Seems like we have a visitor" David the driver broke his thought

"What?" Tom sat up, opening his eyes wide, so that he could see it clearly

"The police?" the driver asked

"Go in inside well, drive in so they know I'm back" the confidence he mustard was contagious..


The police noticed Tom's arrival, the suspect he has been waiting for

"I need you to follow us to the station for some questions on the death of Racheal" He said standing straight with his uniform


"I know the lady involved in this, she is gonna rot with me"
