His Brother's Arrival



Butrico Santrima POV




I came in only to find a mail sent specifically to me


"Why can't he just send an email to me, Jade can be so over dramatic sometimes" Butrico said to himself after reading his six words 'I would be with you soon' as he undressed


Butrico has been single ever since his fiancee got involved in an accident and couldn't survive it, he had vowed never to love again


"It must be very important for him to fly all the way instead of just sending the whole message" Butrico is never the type that stays idle, he's always working on this or that

And just like the letter said, Jade called again telling Butrico to come pick him up at the airport

"What about your driver?" Butrico asked

"I just want it to be me end you drive " Jude responded

"OK" Butrico wore his cloth quickly to head off to the airport

It was a five minute drive, so Butrico calculated that his brother Jude and he could be out immediately he gets to the airport

Butrico's mum died when she just gave birth to Jude, Butrico was just about five years, he knew nothing and barely have memories of his mum again

"Mum" Butrico called her several times as she laid on the bed close to his dad who was fast at sleep

"Mum" he raised his voice, which made his dad wake up

"What's wrong buddy?" Dad strained his eyes open "Come over to this side" he pointed towards the edge of the bed where he laid

"I'm had a nightmare dad" Butrico said in his tiny sweet voice "And I can't sleep, I'm scared"

"Oh dear," Dad pulled him closer and gave him a kiss on his forehead "It's just a nightmare huh, nothing happened" Dad whispered to him

"Can I stay here with you and mum? I would feel better that way" Butrico asked

"Yes sweetie, you can, you would stay in between me and your mum, she is so fast at sleep and I don't want to wake her, so come very slowly" Dad whispered

"OK dad" Butrico smiled, raising his hand to go on the bed


"Babe!!!" He shouted more, this time Butrico woke up

"Babe" Dad called shaking her in the most strange way, Butrico didn't understand what was going on

"What's happening to mum?" He looked worried already

"Nothing buddy, just… just go to your room, stay with your baby brother, I would be out with your mum in a min" Tears gathered around his eyes as he spoke this words

"OK dad" Butrico left, his baby brother had already start crying from the other room

"Babe please" Butrico could hear his dad plead and plead until he shouted, "No!!!", it was so loud that it made Butrico cried

"I wish you stayed longer" Butrico said as he looked at the displayed picture of her on his desk inside his room

(Phone rings)

"And he is here" Butrico stood up to leave

He went out and ordered his driver not to go with him, he wants to be the one driving

"Are you sure about this sir?"

"Yes I am" Butrico said as he entered the car to drive "What does he take me for?" He whispered to himself


He drove off like an expert, of course he was an expert. His dad made him his personal driver growing up, the death of his wife made him so bitter, so dark, he did things unhuman, facing a nightmare became way better than better him

"Butrico drove in really slow as passengers and those welcoming their families were dropping in and out of the airport, he finally found a place to keep his car, it was far from the entrance door but it was worth it," The crowd is something else, so hectic" Butrico lamented

He came down from his car to go get his brother as fast as he can, the atmosphere was so congested

"Butrico"

He turned, looking around to see who called him but he did not, he knew that was his brother, sounds exactly like him. He stopped then turned to follow the echoes of his name

"Over here Butrico" He called out again

"Oh brother" Butrico sited him and smiled

He walked even faster to meet up with him

"It's been so long, You've changed massively" Butrico said, going for a hug

"Gosh, I'm so exhausted, I really need some rest"

"The car is over there, just a few steps" Butrico bent to carry his tiny bag for him "How long are you staying?" Butrico had noticed that he did not come with much

"Just for 12 hours" Jude replied

"Today?"

"Yes"

"That's so sudden and quick" Butrico said

"I just want to discuss something with you, it's very important and needed to be discussed with you in person"

"OK" Butrico replied

They had already walked to the car, Butrico pulled out his car key to open the car

"Thank you" Jude thanked him as he opened the car

"Can we talk about what it is now?" Butrico asked

"I need to get some rest first brother, there is enough time for it"

"Alright, there's enough wine for you"

"Just like old days huh" Jude smiled

"Just like old days" Butrico replied

The drive was fast and quiet, they got home real quick

"Here we are" Butrico drove in

"Always a man with a simple way of life, very beautiful and simple" Jude noted

"You and luxury, don't you ever get enough?" Butrico asked as he pulled over to pack his car well

"No, I don't, I want to get whatever I want at any point in time" Jude said as he stepped out of the car

"Why didn't you order your drivers to bring you to my place instead of stressing yourself out?" Butrico smiled

"That was what I wanted, for you to come pick me up" Jude can be rude and bossy at times forgetting that Butrico is way older than he is
