The Meeting With Her Private Investigator


Helsi's POV


She got herself ready, went downstairs to prepare her meal herself, she didn't want any resentment between her and Butrico

He just kept putting himself into her affairs, and that really irritated her, it didn't when she was with Tom

She was probably upset and easily irritated because she was pregnant, she was shocked that she haven't started reacting much like running stomach and vomits

"Hey" Butrico came into the kitchen

"Hi" she responded plainly

"I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to-"

"It's fine Butrico, you don't have to apologise for anything"

"OK"

"Do you want to join the meal?" she pointed to the meal she was preparing, she didn't intend to add his but she has a change of mind

"Yes please" he has longed to eat her meal

"Alright" she said and turned back to what she was preparing

Butrico smiled and turned to the door to go, he left the kitchen for her, he wanted to ask her if he could help but he changed his mind about it so Helsi won't feel more upset

She came out with the meal when she was done, kept it on the dining table and called for him to have his meal

He walked to the dining table to eat

She knew she wasn't much of a cook but was good at what she did

"This is actually the best meal I've ever tasted" he said

"Hey" she smiled

"You know how to flatter a lady" she added

"I am like that just for her" he said that with a bit of a flirt

"For who?" Helsi knew exactly what he was talking about

"For my lady"

"Alright" Helsi smiled and walked to the kitchen with the dishes

"Let me have them, I would take care of them, you can go do whatever you hurried from work to do" Butrico said with a smile

"OK" she gave him the dishes and went to her room

She stayed in until she fell asleep, the excitement and Joy of seeing Jude woke her up the next morning but another thought creeped in

The thought of him leaving her if he finds out that she is pregnant for another man who is no longer her husband

She got an early morning sweet text from Jude, he told her to warm herself for him when he arrives

She smiled to this, came down from the bed and went to the shower

After shower she came down stairs smiling but she saw Butrico going out

"What happened?" she asked

"I'm heading somewhere, I need to pick someone" he said

"You didn't tell me"

"You said telling you irritates you" he gave a point

"Well, I mean you asking me not telling me" she said and rolled her eyes

"Noted" he smiled and walked out swinging her car keys around his index finger

He stepped out and Helsi started dancing, moves she didn't know that she had

She went to her phone to call him to know how far he has gone but a call from her private investigator came in

She scuffed but she picked it because it was equally important

"I have been waiting for you like we've discussed to see today" he said over the phone

Helsi opened her mouth, she had totally forgotten about the appointment she agreed with her private investigator

"I'm really sorry about that, something came up urgently, sorry I should have told you but I would get back to you as soon as possible"

"OK, one more hour and I'm out of here" he said over the phone

"OK" she said and ended the call

After few minutes, she heard a noise at the gate, she didn't care because she knew it was Butrico, she kept looking at her cell phone waiting for Jude to call her

She stayed in her room

Butrico came in with his brother, Butrico knew he came for Helsi but he didn't say a damn word to him nor did he say a word to Helsi

He wanted them to face each other in shock, he was sure that Jude doesn't know about Helsi's pregnancy and Helsi on the other hand doesn't know that Jude had been married to over 5 wives and he was just messing around with her, he was never serious about their relationship

When he entered, he noticed that Helsi wasn't at the living room or the kitchen, so he guessed she was in her room as usual


"So, why did you visit?" Butrico asked

"I came here to see my future wife" he smiled

"Ohh really?" Butrico smiled too

"She said Yes already?" he added

"Well, that's what I came for, but I'm certain that she would accept" He gave a proud look

"Alright, I wish you all the best though" Butrico said and walked to the dining table to get his glass for a wine

"I would be going up to my room now" Jude said

"OK" Butrico gave an evil smile, he knew it was the room he gave Helsi that Jude use when he visits him, so he longed and yawned for the drama that follows

Jude got a call which made him stop after taking his first step at the stairs, he turned to Butrico who was staring at him

Then then walked outside to pick his call, it was his first wife

"Why are you calling me at this time?"

"What is wrong with calling you at this time?" she asked over the phone

"What do you want?"

"I need some money for-" she got interrupted

"I would send it for you and don't dial my number again, if you need anything, send a message to my email" He said with a subtle anger

"Don't spoil my mood for me" he added

She was silent for some time

"Anything else?" he asked

She still remained quiet then she ended the call

"Fucking bitch" he turned to his phone and scuffed

He adjusted his face and smiled several times then he went back into the house
