How He Left Her


Helsi's POV


"I" she touched her face "I'm really sorry, he is like… dead"

"Where is the doctor?" she stood from the ground and walked out of the room

"Lusi" Helsi called her

Lusi didn't respond to her calling but she walked out, Helsi stood up and went over the dead man

She shakes her head and covered him back to how he was

Then she walked out of the room, and followed Lusi to wherever she went to but as she did this, she picked her phone to dial Butrico number

She spoke up immediately he picked the call

"Hey, where are you? could you please come to the clinic?"

Helsi said straight

"Clinic? What's going on?" Butrico didn't quite understand what was going on

"Lusi just lost her husband, so" she cried " could you be here please?" she said

"Where? What clinic?"

"At Dignified Hospital just opposite Mahadi Hotel" Helsi said "Hurry please" She added and ended the call

Helsi rushed out looking for Helsi, she couldn't find her so she asked for the Doctor's office because she was sure that she could be there

She was showed where the doctor's office was then she walked fast to it, but she was stopped be a nurse

"I'm. Sorry ma'am, you can't go in"

"Why?" Helsi asked

"May I know your name? And he attends to one person at a time, there is someone in with him and I would need you to patiently wait please ma'am"

"OK, don't worry about the name, I just came because I need to know if my friend is here"

"With the doctor?" the nurse asked

" Yes please"

"What's her name?" The nurse faced her system

"Paul Lusi"

"OK" she responded and clicked her system then turned to face her

"Very well"


"She is in, she rushed in to see the husband about her husband" the nurse said

"Yes, thank you "

"Just take a seat over there," She points to the chair which had people waiting "she would be out soon"

"Alright" she turned to sit and wait for Lusi to come out


Then her private investigator called

"Is everything OK?" he asked

"Yes, I have been really tied these days, I just lost a friend's husband"

"I'm really sorry about that, I just have something important to share with you"

"What's that?"

"It's possible that your dad might be alive"

"George? Alive?" she had to ask again

"Yes but I would need to discuss this with you in person" He responded

"I also have some things to sgaer with you, about my sister's kidnap"

"Yeah, so can we make a time to see?"

"Yeah we can"

"OK, I just need to see you before you get to the critical stage of your pregnancy, because when you do, it would be difficult to see you"

"OK, can you make it tomorrow?" Helsi asked

"Where? Time?"

"At Butrico's place, late in the afternoon would be fine with me"

"OK, I would be there"

"Thank you" she sajd and ended the call

Immediately after the call, Butrico rushed in

Helsi felt relieved upon seeing him, she stood and walked towards him, he was using his eyes to look for where they were so Helsi helped him narrowed his option

"Hey" Helsi rushed to him with tears out of her eyes

"Ohh Hi, where is she?" he asked, he didn't see her coming around too

"She is with the doctor" she pointed to the door

"What exactly happened?" Butrico asked Helsi

"Hope you are good?" Butrico saw how stressed she had been

"I would be fine, just having slight pain at my abdomen"

"Your day to giving birth is really close and you shouldn't be stressing yourself out" Butrico said

"He got involved in an accident"

"How?" Butrico asked

"I don't know, she came to the house, did you get home?" she looked at him

"No, I came from work immediately you called?" he replied

"OK, she came to your place with her mum because I told her that I needed her, I wasn't feeling so good" Helsi inhaled deeply

"OK"

"Then a call came in from a stranger saying he was involved in an accident and he might not survive it, then he told us where he was" She points to the room he was kept "Then we rushed to see if it was true or not"

"What did she go in to see the doctor for?"

"I don't know Butrico, how the hell am I going to know" she touched her forehead "I need to sit down, the pain is growing"


"Alright, let go have a seat and wait for her to come out"

They both went to sit, Helsi was becoming restless, the pain at her lower abdomen grew deeper until she couldn't hold it anymore

She cried out in pain, then Butrico took her to the car

It wasn't yet her time, it was supposed to come the next month, so she knew that it was one of those pains she was supposed to experience even before labour

"Do you want me to stay here with you?" Butrico asked immediately he adjusted the front chair for her to lay

"No, no she needs you more than me, I wish I wasn't feeling this pain, I am supposed to be there with her" Helsi deep a deep cry as her hands ran through her stomach

"Do you need me to get you anything?" he asked

"I don't know, I feel like eating earthworms" she said and turned to Butrico to see his reaction

"What?" he laughed

"I'm serious"

"Ohh"

"Yeah, so back to Lusi because she needs you, I would be fine" Helsi said to Butrico

He then turned and left back to the clinic, he rushed in and Lusi wasn't out yet, so he walked to the chair to sit and wait for her

But befhe sat down, Lusi came out looking at her worse

He went to her, she looked like she had been crying non-stop

"Butrico" She called his name as tears rolled down heavily on her cheek

"Hey" he went to hug her

"He is dead" she said almost like a whisper
