The Confrontation


"Really?" Joy threw a mischievous smile

"Come over here" Lusi tapped Helsi's shoulder

"What?" Helsi laughed "OK" she inhaled deeply with a smile "I see that you guys won't let me rest"

"No we won't, come have a seat here and tell us before your rest" Lusi said as she hits the soft sofa beside her

Helsi laughed "Alright, this is how it started" she chuckled

"Go on already, you dragging our curiosity" Joy taps her feet


"Well… we were high school mate, like damn, who would have thought that we would meet again, you know how I was" she rolled her eyes "the shy type and he was literally the talk of the class all the time, even some female teachers were on him too"


"Bring him over" Lusi interrupted

"I can't, he is going out of the country soon besides we are just getting to know each other after a long time" Helsi said

"Enough with the let him come over, can you continue Helsi?" Joy said

"OK" Helsi laughed

"I've really missed this you this way, happy like this all the time" Lusi said

"I know right" she replied "So as I was saying… he asked me out at some point, I liked him too but I turned down his offer, I saw the attention he got from every corner and I did not want that on me, I already had enough hates at that point in time" Helsi squeezed her eyes closed

"So that's how I know him in the past, I honestly don't know how we path ways but I thought he was dead" Helsi laughed

"What? Is your soul this dark?" Joy laughed

"No, like I mean, he got involved in drugs at some point and his life seemed to be at stake, so I expected his rivals to some for him" Helsi said

"Ohh"

"Yes, he got me email address recently, that's how we met" Helsi said

"I thought you guys would be at home, Paul wanted to see him" Lusi replied

"Wait what? You already told your husband?"

"Yes Helsi, I already did" Lusi smiled

"Wow" Helsi smiled, touching her forehead "Where is he?"

"Having some rest upstairs"

"The house seems empty, what about mum and Butrico?" Helsi asked as she looked around

"Have you guys?" Joy asked smiling as her tongue ran through her lips

"Joy!!!" Lusi laughed

"What? I just want to know, thats all" She raised her hands above her head

"Well… we have, but it just once" Helsi responded

"Oh My God Helsi, are you serious?" Lusi opened her mouth

"Yes, it happened when we left here today"

"Damn" Joy almost screamed "I need some wine"

"You are sick Joy" Helsi laughed "I needed it please" she touched her thighs

"You needed it baby girl, how is the divorce with you and Tom going?" Lusi asked

"Would you guys take it further" Joy interrupted "I mean, you and Jude?"

"What the hell is your problem Joy?" Lusi laughed

"I would really love it if we do, I can't say for him" Helsi looked at Joy, then to Lusi "We paused the process after the death of Racheal, but we would definitely finish it up once we can"


"OK"


"I've really been messed up lately, I dropped the investigation on my parents, my company and my divorce because of my sister's kidnap and Racheal's death, it's not been funny" Helsi said


"Yeah, I get, I know you would pull it through, I trust you and we are here, we would never allow you go through it alone" Joy replied

"OK, would you guys let me have some rest now?"

"Yes baby girl, you can have some rest" Lusi said

Helsi stood up to go upstairs, then she stopped like she had forgotten something "I asked earlier about mum and Butrico, where are they?"

"Mum went to spend some time with a friend, Butrico said he wanted to have some discussion with his brother, but they would be home soon" Lusi said

"OK" Helsi turned to continue going to her room, then paused again "Don't tell mum what we just discussed yet" She said looking at Lusi

"I won't" Lusi laughed "You have nothing to worry about, just go have some rest"



Butrico's POV



I went in, slamming the door, trying to get Jude's attention wherever he was in the house

"Jude!!!" Butrico raised his voice, he was deep in anger and could literally leave some scars on his skin at the moment

He called out several times, checking every corner of the house but he couldn't find him

He then came out, entered his car and was about to drive out then he saw driving in

"Come on man, let me drive in properly" Jude came out

"I want you to leave now, I would get your things for you" Butrico refused to let him drive in

"What the hell is the problem?" Jude asked, he didn't know why he was upset

Butrico inhaled deeply, thought better than to act so immature, he entered the car to drive further in so that he could enter

"What's wrong bro?" Jude came out asking immediately he drove in well

"Let's go in"

Jude followed him, wondering what he could have wrong to upset him

He closed the door after taking his coat off

"What's wrong?" Jude asked again

"What is going on between you and her?"

"Me and who?" Jude was confused

"You and Helsi, what is going on between both of you?"

"Ohh, her" Jude smiled

"I'm glad you think this is funny" Butrico grinned his teeth

"Easy buddy, I mean, I like her so I'm going after her, why do you ask?" Jude smiled

"I want you to stay far away from her" Butrico threw a serious look

"Why?" Jude can be such a pain in the ass sometimes

"She is not yours and besides you are getting married in less than a month for Goddam sake, why the hell do you want to get her involved, does she know that you are getting married?

" No she doesn't, but she will soon because I would tell her"

"When do you intend to tell her?" Butrico asked

"I wanted to tell her-" Jude was interrupted

"Is it when you travel? Get married? Or when?, because if I'm not mistaken, you are going back for your marriage later in the day today"
