Lusi's POV


"Let's go in and check what he did" Butrico said and went further into the house

"Yeah" she stood outside still for a while and walked into her greatest nightmare

Her clothes and things were littered all over the place, she literally couldn't see a clean place to keep her legs

"He did a mess" She said as she looked at her things were littered all over the place

"Thank God you guys were at my place" Butrico stopped and looked at her then he continued picking her stuffs from the ground

"Gosh, this guy is something else Butrico, I'm scared" Lusi began to shake

"Hey" he went closer

"If Paul" she lowered her head "If Paul was here, all these shit won't be happening" Lusi began crying

"Hey, I'm here"

"Would you stay here forever?" Lusi rolled her eyes

"I would if Helsi approves" Butrico said

"Hey" Lusi pushed him by his chest "Did you shoot your shot?" Lusi asked

"I have been trying to but her heart doesn't seem to be here with me" Butrico replied

"She will, she definitely will" Lusi faced her things on the floor

"I won't have to get these, I'm definitely moving out of these place, my mum is not coming back here" Lusi said

"You need some of these things" Butrico said

"Yeah, I would come back for them, can we go back please, I'm losing my mind staying here" Lusi turned to the door

"OK" Butrico went out with her


They drove back home, Lusi was acting up so strange and weird

"Is everything OK?" Butrico asked driving
next to her

"Yeah, just having slight headache" she said as she rubbed her hand through her forehead

*Really sorry about that, should we stop by the pharmacy to get some drugs? "Butrico asked

" No, don't worry, I would get better and I just need some rest from all of these, from life… stress "she scuffed "I'm just really tired"

"Yeah I get, I feel that way sometimes, from work, my dad and life" he rolled his eyes, but got distracted by a frog by the river he drove by

"Your dad?"

"Yeah, marriage and all that, I am the first child and so becoming successful was really essential to my dad, I was literally running crazy," he scoffed. "One of the reasons I left the country was to come here and spend my life alone, without them and the drama you know…"

"Wow, that must have been hard for you" Lusi said

"Yeah it was and even when I came here, my dad kept calling, reminding me of my singleness and all" he rolled her eyes

"Wow, he should chill" Lusi said

"Yeah, he doesn't understand that language" Butrico smiled

That was the best drive he has had for a long time

He came down and opened the door for Lusi to get down

He stood by the door and waited for her to get down, she came out, standing close to him

She looked at him then to his lips, she was tempted to kiss him but she waved the thought away

"Thank you" she said and walked past him

He noticed the awkward moment, he ignored it, he closed the car door and went in with her

"Mum, we are back" Lusi said immediately she entered the house

"Hey baby" mami came to the door to hug her

"How was it? Did he break into the house?" mami asked

"What about Helsi and my Angel?" Lusi asked

"They are both sleeping"

"Alright, he actually broke in" Lusi replied

"Hey mami" Butrico walked in

"Hey Butri, thanks for following her for her safety" she rubs her hand around his

"You are welcome mami" Butrico responded and walked inside his room

"Go on baby" mami said to Lusi and motioned for her to come to the living room to further their discussion

"Yes mum," Lusi was shaking, she couldn't stand well "He broke in, and littered everywhere but I'm just thankful that we were not at home when it happened"

"Are you OK?" mami noticed that she wasn't acting herself

"Yes mami, I'm OK just having slight headache" she groaned then it turned to tears

"I'm just really tired mami, I've been" she cried but silently, she didn't want to wake her Angel up

"I've been trying to stay strong, act tough but my world just keeps falling apart, I'm tired" she cried

"Ohh my baby, please don't feel that way, I am here, I would always be here for you" her mum went to her

"I don't want" she raised her head looking at the roof, then she faced her mum "I don't want to live like this"

"You don't have to" her mum said

"I shouldn't be weak" Lusi said to herself

"You have sometimes"

"I hate to get to the point where I can't bottle up my emotions, because I just let it out" she cried

"It would make you feel be, do it anytime you feel overwhelmed and stressed out, it would help you" her mum said to her

"Yes mami, we won't go back to that place, it holds a lot of memories that I want to leave behind"

"OK"

"I got married there, had my first child who I lost and lost Paul at that fucking house then these… Tom invading, is that house cursed?"

"No sweetheart, do you have another place ready?"

"Not yet but I will before tomorrow" she turned to her mum and smiled

"What?"

"You said you only wanted to stay here for a day but here we are" Lusi smiled

"You lured me into staying longer and my Angel too made my want to stay longer"

Lusi smiled but it soon faded away, she felt incomplete for not having to give her mum the joy of having a child like she feel around Helsi's baby

"You would be fine, everything would be fine at the end of the day" her mum went closer to hug her
