He Fell Deeply For Her


Lusi's POV

"And that's true, I haven't seen her since I came back"

"Yeah" she responded

"Don't worry, I can go get her and you don't have to worry about that, it's already late for you to go out" Paul responded

Lusi looked at him with a smile, having him around really limits her from doing certain things "Only if he knows" she thought to herself

"Why the smile?" he noticed her unusual smile

"Nothing" she burst into laughter "It's just been long since someone spoke to me like that, you've literally been away for about six months"

"Is that so?" he stood up to change his wears

"Don't worry sweetheart, please don't" she couldn't stop laughing "she doesn't stay far, I can pick her up" she went closer, rubbing her hands through his back causing the longing sensation

"Really?" he turned for a kiss on her forehead

"I'm not a kid"

"I know hottie, bad guys or accidents doesn't look at the age of anyone" he said

"Nothing would happen" she further to his lips to kiss him

"I'm hungry" he yearned

"I already prepared something in the kitchen, didn't you see it when you went in to keep the vegetables?" She asked

"No I didn't notice but I would go down later to check" he went back to the bed

"And i would see you in few seconds" she said and left the room

She walked down back to the living room, this time there was no one there, they had all gone to their rooms, so she proceeded to get her car keys to go


When she opened the door, she saw Butrico still standing outside

"Butrico!!!" she was shocked "Are you still outside after that time?" She almost screamed

"Yes" he said in a lowered tone

"What the hell, you need some rest, do you want to stand here till dawn?" She asked

"No I'm heading home soon, do I sleep at your place now?"

She then gave a deep sigh, she knew what it was all about, she had almost forgotten

"You still love her, don't you?"

"Well… it doesn't matter now, does it?" he looked so sad, she had never seen him look like that before

"It does Butri, it does"

"Well, for some additional information, Jude is my younger brother"

She opened her mouth in shock, she didn't see that coming at all "What did you just say?"

"He is my younger brother and" he thought better than telling her of his upcoming marriage he didn't want to scatter the emotional attachment Helsi already had for him through Lusi

"Jude? The one Helsi talks about is your brother?" she said at the top of her voice

"Shhh, I don't want you dishing it out to others Ok?" he was getting teary

"Ohh, I'm… I'm" she couldn't find her words

"It's fine, I heard you telling them that you want to go pick your mum yeah?" he asked

"Yeah" she said in a rather sympathetic way

"Alright, go ahead, I don't want to keep you longer than this" he looked around "This late" he added


"I would come over to your place tomorrow so we can continue our conversation"

"OK, you can come over to my office, I don't think I would be available in the morning because I have some appointments"

"Alright, I would head over to your office, just please let me know when you are done with your meeting"

"Yeah I will, say hi to mum for me" he said walking to his car


"You sure you are OK?, you can stay over at… my place" she didn't think that was a good idea though

"No" he laughed "I would be fine, I still love her regardless" he said then entered his car

Lusi looked with pity, she wished she could just turn the situation around to favour Butrico but she couldn't, she walked to her car and drive off too


After a few minutes drive, she called her mum but she did not respond then she called her friend


"Hello" she said over the phone

"Your mum right?"

"Yes please, I hope she is Ok?" Lusi asked

"Yes she is, she almost broke his glass table though" the lady laughed over the phone

Lusi didn't find that funny at all

"I'm coming to pick her now, please get her things ready" Lusi said

"Ohh, but she can spend the night here"

Lusi hung up, "Just imagine!!" she said to herself
*But she can just spend the night here" Lusi mimicked her "After what she did the last time, accusing my mum of something she had no hands in and you have the audacity to say that rubbish, thank your God that my mum is a good person as she is, I would have killed you a long time" she kept murmuring to herself until she got to the house


(Rings the doorbell)

"Who's there?"


Lusi found that to be a dumb question to ask because she already called to tell them that she was already on her way

"Who's there?" the lady repeated

"Lusi," she said out of annoyance

"Oh My, give me a second"

She could hear how she battled her her through the door nub and finally opened it

"You are welcome" the lady motioned for her to get in

"Where's my mum?" Lusi looked around for her mum

"She's in my room, she felt asleep about one hour ago that's why I suggested she sleeps over" she didn't just stop smiling, which just kept pissing Lusi off

"OK, can you take me to her?" She forced a smile

"Of course" she walked to her room

There were still several bottles lying on the floor with a lot of packs of cigarette, the house was literally messy from the living room to every corner of the house

If Lusi stayed longer than that, she was actually going to throw up, especially at the sights of several used condoms
