Helsi's POV


Helsi went to her bed and just lay down until she slept off

She really needed it

She was constantly remembering how Tom treated her like trash because she couldn't bare him a child

"I'm your wife Tom and you shouldn't treat me like this because of your deficiency" Helsi slammed Tom

"My deficiency?" Tom asked, he was already getting upset

"Yes because the root to our problem is exactly from you"

"How exactly is your misfortune my fault?" Tom asked

She was shocked to his fucking question

"It's your fault because I was pregnant before I got married to you put I aborted the child for the guy I was dating at that young age" Helsi said at the top of her voice

"Pregnant? Abortion?" Tom was shocked to be hearing all these from Helsi for the first time

"Yes, for your fucking information, you are not the first guy I fucked" Helsi said at the top of her voice

"Ohh I know that I'm not the first, you were like a whore when i saw you, I don't know why I followed you that night" he shakes his head

"How dare you" she walked to him and gave him a slap to his face

He smiled "I let you have your way but don't you ever raise your hands to my face again" he said to her

"Or what? What would you do Tom huh? What?" she said at the top of her voice

He smiled again and walked out of her

Helsi fell to the floor, crying, she felt that somehow it could be her fault just like he had said but she didn't let him see that part of her

"Helsi" a faint voice called out

Helsi was asleep, so she didn't quite hear the voice but she heard it from her dream

"Helsi" the voice called out with a knock this time around

Helsi stood up from her bed after the second shout of her name

"Yeah?"

"It's me darling" Lusi's mum said at the door

"OK mami, I would be there now

Helsi held her gown and walked to the door with her full stomach, she opened the door for her to get in
But she wasn't alone


She came with Lusi

"I'm really sorry mami for your loss" Helsi said to Lusi's mum

"It's fine darling, thank you very much"

Helsi went to her bed, she couldn't stand for a long time

"Lusi told me about everything and I deeply advise you go to the clinic, staying at home might cause some issues that can be prevented when you have someone like a nurse constantly checking on you" Mami said

"Exactly mami, I told her already" Lusi added

"Yes dear, I think you should go to the hospital this moment and I think your lawyer should understand that and probably meet you at the clinic too to discuss what he has if it's OK with you"

"Yes mami, it's very OK with you"

"OK so I would just let Butrico know now" Lusi said and walked out of the room to let him know

"Thank you mum, I really appreciate your love and care" Helsi said

"You've always been my daughter the very moment you started staying with me, you and your…" she paused at her thought

"Anything from your sister?" she asked

"Not yet mami" she adjusted herself against discomfort

"She would be fine, you just get to the clinic, me and Lusi would bring all the necessary things you need" Mami said as she touched Helsi's hand

"Thank you mami, pregnancy is so hard" Helsi cried out

"Yes it is, it gets harder but you would feel better when he?"

"A girl" Helsi said

"Oh nice, so you would feel better when she is out" Mami responded

"Remind me never to have kids" Helsi smiled

"Ohh yes, I very well will"

Then Butrico walked in and helped her walk to the car, Lusi and her mum followed her to the clinic to, they wanted to make sure that she is fine before they got home to get what she needed

"OK" her Doctor said "From what I am seeing, you might have your child today" he said with a smile

"Wow, that's great Doctor" mami said from the other side of the room

"Yes, so" he inhaled "I would need you to get ready" he said looking at Helsi then to Mami

"Her family right?"

"Yes we are"

"Are you her husband?" he turned to Butrico

"Oh no I'm not Doctor" he replied, though he wished he was

"OK, what about your husband?" he turned to Helsi

"Ex-husband" was all Helsi could say

"Officially?"

"Please talk to my mum over there, she would get back to me on it, I can't make such decisions now, I'm in pains" Helsi said to the Doctor

"Alright, please I would need you to come with me to my office" he said specifically to mami


She followed him to his office like he had said

"Gosh, I'm so happy for you Helsi and I can't wait to see your baby" Lusi went close to Helsi who was in deep pain

"Remind me to never get pregnant" Helsi said again to Lusi

Butrico bursted into laughter

"I will" Lusi smiled

"Come in" the doctor said to mami for her to go in

"Thank you" she responded

He then walked to his desk and motioned for her to sit

"Alright, she would be having a baby soon and I need her and her husband signing a very important document"

"She is no longer with her husband"

"Not officially yet so he can sign it, he is still her husband and he can sew the hospital if she loses her life without his consent that's why his agreement through his signature is very important" the doctor said

"I'm her mum and I can do that for her"

"If I may ask, is there anything wrong with her husband's signature?"

"He is a criminal, Tom, and he is not allowed anywhere near her" mami finally said it all

"OK" he gave a shocking looks but then turned to the document in front of him "Let's gets to the signing then"
