They Took The Risk

George's POV


"Alright let's go together" George finally aggress to follow Mary to get more information about her daughter's absence

George knew that it could ruin his life but he just did it so that he could see his daughter, there was no time left for him on earth

"Let me get my things ready" George just said what Mary had always wanted to hear

"Thank you sweetheart, you are the best" she kissed him on his lips, then she went further to carry her things to the living room

She went back to her room to check if there was any other thing she must have left

"I wanted to take this" she carried her big jacket "It's beautiful but the weather is hot right now and I can't kill myself because of fashion" she said

"You don't have to" George said

"But it's beautiful"

"Women" George said and nodded his head

"What happened to women?" Mary asked

"You guys can be so indecisive sometimes" George scuffed

"So do men" Mary slammed him

"Some men at least and they are very few but every women have issues"

"Whatever" Mary rolled her eyes and walked to the living room to get a snack, or something reasonable to eat

She had been upset at George that she had forgotten to eat something

She grabbed the toasted bread that George had done earlier that day and threw it to her mouth

"Hmm" She could hear her stomach thanking her for letting her ego down and eating something

George came down looking for his cell phone

"Babe did you see where I kept my cell phone?" He asked from his room until he came completely to the living room

"No, I haven't seen it throughout today" She replied with her mouth filled with bread

"Check around for it for me, I need to make an important phone call for our journey"

"Ohh" she wasn't interested in what he was saying before but when she heard that it was essential for their journey, her ears stood still

"OK, I will" She quickly finished up the remaining bread left on the plate and went on the lookout for the phone

After searching for a long time, she finally found it under their bed, it must have been George who carelessly dropped it there and forgot

"Ohh thank you darling" George thanked her

"You should be more careful next time" she said

"It was your shouts and quarrel that made me forget where it was" George smiled

"Go dress up" Mary slammed him

"I am, are you?"

George knew from that moment that his wife would be more than willing to do anything that involves her seeing her daughter

"Yes I am" she responded

"Alright get your things ready, we would leave immediately the driver comes in"

She shouted out of excitement and kept dancing and singing, she was glad that she was going to see her daughter after decades

It wasn't up to an hour, they heard a horn at the door, before then, Mary had been asking tirelessly whether he was going to come or not

George was really tired of her never ending questions, he really was

So he was glad when he heard the horn too at the door

They both walked out of the house and locked it then entered the car to go

They continued driving non-stop until they got to a strange land

"Are you sure that we are on the right path?" George asked

"Yes sir, we are" his driver responded

"OK" George said

Mary was worried about the strange movements, she asked George several times if he trust his driver and said he trust him, he always get the job done

"OK" was what Mary kept saying

After a long 20 hours drive, they finally got to the country, Mary was too exhausted to be excited, at that point she just wanted to have some rest

So George booked a hotel for them to rest the night and go after his daughters the next day

"Thank you honey" she said to him as she rest her hands on his chest on the bed

"For what?"

"For caring" she replied

"Do I have any other choice, you literally had a gun to my head so I had no other options"

"Hey" she hits him softly to his chest

"I did it because I care, she is my daughter and I love her so dearly, I wouldn't let anyone or anything harm her" he said

She smiled at his statement then went further to kiss him

"Is only during these days that you let me touch you"

"Of course" She smiled "But you are tired right now, do you have strength for it?"

"I don't" he turned to her and bite her on her nipple

"Argh" she shouted out of pain but she smiled "You just turned me on"

"Oh really?" he went further to kiss her more intimately

"Yes"

"My legs are actually shaking, I didn't walk here but it felt like I walked, I am dead exhausted" George said

"Yeah me too, that was why I went straight to the shower immediately we came in, me being in a congested area for too long is of no good to my skin"

"I know right" he said and was dozing off

"Stop talking and just sleep" she laughed and covered his eyes

"OK" he responded like he was joking but he dozed off immediately
