Helsi's POV


After the discussion with her private investigator, he assured her that they would get to the root of the problem

At Least now she knows that her husband Tom and her uncle Mardrigo was involved in her sister's kidnap, she had a feeling that Ava might have been involved in the kidnap but she decided to get all the facts and evidence about it before striking

Getting the voice record from her was a step

She walked him out of the house and thanked him again

"I really do appreciate your efforts" she shakes him

"My pleasure" he shaked her and went off

"Get the gates open for him" Helsi said to the man responsible for the gate

Her private investigator waved her goodbye again and walked out, then the gate was locked

Helsi went inside, he baby had just started crying, she knew that it was hunger and she needs to eat

She haven't for the past 30 minutes she was having the discussion with her private investigator

So she ran inside "Where is my baby please?"

"She's over there, with Butrico" Lusi pointed over where Butrico stood "He is feeding your baby with his breastless breast" she laughed

"What the hell" she laughed "It tastes bitter that's why she is crying"

"Of course it does" Lusi laughed

Helsi laughed as she watched how Butrico tried to stop her from crying, what he did was very noble and sweet

She walked to where he stood "Can I have her now?"

"Oh yes you can, she was very hungry that was why she was crying" Butrico said

"Yeah, I know" she said as she carried her baby from his arms

And after giving a soothing sound and humming, her baby stayed calm

"What would you call her?" Butrico asked

"Lusi" Lusi screamed from the living room "She would be called Lusi"

"Your ears are so sharp" Helsi laughed

"I don't know yet but I have two in mind" Helsi added

"Tell me if you don't mind sharing it with me" he said

"Angel or Beauty"

"Wow, those are really amazing names, I would go with Beauty" Butrico said

"And i would go with Angel" Lusi said at the top of her voice from the living room

"Yeah" Helsi smiled while she kept rocking her baby

"I need to go up and feed her before her temper rises like her mother" Helsi said

"Exactly, I'm glad you know that very well" Lusi said

Helsi rolled her eyes and walked to her room to feed her child

"Shh" she touched her forehead as she drank some milk from her breast

"You look beautiful" She said to her baby as she drank "You hungry huh?"

Helsi had never felt better than seeing her own child, even though she was going through pains, she felt good every time she saw her baby

Her baby slept after eating heavily, so Helsi kept her to sleep well on her bed

"Ohh" she saw one of her phones which she hadn't used for days. "You've been here for a long time, are you still working?" she took the phone to charge for power

And to her surprise, it worked, she opened it to see all her informations that was still left after being kept for about 2 months

She opened it and went through the message, then she saw one from David, it looked recent like it was sent about a week or two ago

She rushed downstairs after reading it

"You guys" she called out for all of them

They all turned to her to know why she called them

"Guys" she said again as she came down and went close to them "I am just seeing a message from David, you all remember him right?"

"Yes" they said almost together

"I just got a message from him"

"What does it say?" Butrico asked as he came closer, he was already looking worried

"It says…" she stared at Lusi then to the phone "He sent a warning to me, he said if I was at your place" He looked at Lusi

"That I should run away because he was coming for me"

"When was this?" Lusi asked

"About a week ago?" she said more like a question

"No one was home," she said and turned to Butrico "Can we go check?"

"Yes of course, I can" He rushed to get his car keys

"Tom is a Psychopath!" Mami stamped the floor "he should be locked up in jail" she added

"I'm really sorry mami for putting you all these troubles and mess" Helsi went closer

"No its fine, it's not your fault"

"No mami, it is very much my fault, if I hadn't married him, all these wouldn't have happened"

"Shit happens" Mami said

"Mami!" Helsi laughed, she wasn't expecting that at all

"Shit happens" she said again and laughed

"Alright mum, we would be back as soon as possible" Butrico said as he went out with Lusi

"Stay safe, call the police if he tries to attack any of you guys" mami said to them and watched them go


Lusi's POV

I only prayed that he did not break in, she checked her phone

If he had, probably break the door to go in then the neighbours would have called but she did not see any messages or calls from them

She kept watching around for him or even his car, no traces of him yet

As they got closer, she looked from afar and saw that her door was very much intact

"Phew" She said when she saw this

"The house looks intact" Butrico said as he drive closer

They both went down when Butrico stopped

Lusi ran in with her keys to open the door, a part of her felt relieved that the door wasn't open

She removed the key to open the door but when she did, the door kicked open

It was that moment that she knew that he came, she stood in shock

"What's wrong?" Butrico asked standing behind her

She turned to him in shock "He came"
