Helsi's POV

"Mardrigo, you know how much he cares about you but you keep hanging out with Jude, does Jude love you?"

"Yes he does" Helsi wasn't sure why she would answer that instead is Jude himself

"Then don't go over to Mardrigo's, stay here and wait for Jude to see if he would even come, you think you would call him and tell him that Tom could kill a soul to get to you and he would come in to save you from that kind of person?" Lusi was upset

"I just…" Helsi was out of speech

"Please don't do this to Mardrigo, it would hurt him"

"Does he know about Jude?" Helsi asked

"I think he does" Lusi responded

"I would sort it out" Helsi replied

"OK, if you say so"

"And then my private investigator said he found traces of some phone calls tracing back to someone that could be my father"

"What do you mean?"

"Those were his exact words, so I am as lost as you are" Helsi responded

"Would you attend the burial of Ava's mum?" Lusi knew she haven't heard of it

"Ava?" Helsi was shocked

"Yeah, it's the talk of the town"

"My Ava? Or another I know nothing of" Helsi asked

"The one that works for you" Lusi lowered her head "It's a pity, death can be a very painful enemy"

"Oh My God, how did I not hear of this incident"

"Well, your company haven't been operating properly so there are certain informations that can't be leaked out"

"Including someone's death?"

"No Helsi, other things" Lusi touched her face

"Well, I need to go prepare for Madrigo" Helsi said

"And i will to send my condolences to Ava" Lusi said

"Where is it happening?" Helsi tilted her head slightly to Lusi

"At her home and it would be if you go too"

"I didn't say I wasn't going to" Helsi said and continued walking to her room, her hands rubbing her growing stomach

Lusi followed to get dressed to, after few minutes of dressing, Lusi was done while Helsi wasn't

She walked to her room to know why she wasn't out yet

And to her surprise, she saw Helsi sitting on the bed without clothes

"What the hell Helsi, do you want to go like this?" She points to her body

"I don't know what to wear" Helsi replied

"Argh, you can be so annoying sometimes"

"And i love you too" Helsi said

Lusi rolled her eyes and walked to her closet to get a dress, which she did immediately she opened it

"You see" Helsi said

"See what?"

"How you just made this decision" Helsi said

"Stand and wear this, we don't have time at our side" Lusi went to realise her up from the bed

"Yes mummy" Helsi responded as she held Lusi who was helping her get up from the bed

She got dressed and as usual checks herself at the mirror countless times to be spotless

After all the drama, they walked downstairs to head out

"I would just keep the key here for mum, when she comes back" Lusi said dropping the key at a very isolated place where one wouldn't ever think it was kept

"Let's go" Lusi turned to Helsi at the door

"Yeah"

"I'm driving, before you talk about a driver because I know you so well"

"That was what I wanted to say" Helsi laughed "Of course, you know me too well" she added

Lusi walked to her car, then opened it


She ordered that the gate be open then both entered, she drove out and went straight to Ava's home

Before they got there, everywhere was already really occupied, they stopped by at an ornamental shop to get some flowers

"Wow" Helsi said seeing the massive number of people that came for the burial

"Let's go before we won't see space to go in" Lusi opened the door and stepped down

They both walked to the door, waving greetings to everyone that laid eyes on them, they finally found their way into the home,

Displayed pictures of Ava's mum everywhere

"She's really pretty" Helsi whispered to Lusi with a glass of held she held

"She sure is" Lusi responded and she used her eyes to scan the room for Ava's presence

"See her over there" Helsi tapps her to the opposite direction

"Ohh wow, alot of changes on her"

Helsi stated at Lusi strangely for that statement

"Can we?" Lusi turned to Helsi for them to go to her

"Of course, that's why we are here" Helsi quickly finished up her wine and kept the glass to the table close to her

They walked straight to Ava who was talking to some old people that we are pretty sure are sending their warm wishes to her

Luais and Helsi just stood there waiting for them to finish, so they could send theirs too


Ava's POV


"Thank you very much ma'am, I really do appreciate your presence" she said

I turned to see the two ladies standing over the right like they wants to see me

Only to see Helsi "Helsi?" Ava said at the top of her voice

Thank God that there was a soothing music playing at the background of not it could attract some unnecessary attention

"Hey Ava, I am really sorry for your loss dear, I really am" Helsi touches her chest

"Thank you very much, she was sick, seriously sick and I needed some" Tears rolled down her cheek "I needed some help then, but there was nobody there, I just" her eyes landed on her stomach

"Are you?" She points to her stomach with her mouth wide open

"Yes, she is pregnant" Lusi said

"Oh My God Helsi, this is just a great news, wow this is massive, I'm really happy for you" Ava said

"Thank you" Helsi smiled

"Your mum is really pretty" Lusi said

"She is, I remember when my dad used to be so jealous when other men would come ask for my mum's hand in marriage while she was married to my dad… imagine" Ava laughed

"I'll miss her" she sighed deeply

"We all will" Helsi said in a low soft tone
