Lusi's POV


I got dressed as quickly as possible to go over Mardrigo's home as Helsi needed me urgently

After dressing, I walked downstairs to inform mum that I would be heading out and I might not be home tonight, it all depends on the degree of heat at Butrico's home at the moment

"Hey mami" Lusi entered the kitchen where her mum was doing some arrangements

"Woah… easy mum" Lusi ran to grab the dish that almost fell from her mum's hand

"Jezz Lusi, you scared the crap out of me"

"How?" Lusi held her chest laughing

"Just appeared here and called my name, why won't that stattle me?" Mum said going close to see if a piece of the glass fell to the floor

Lusi almost fell to the floor laughing, she laughed so hard that she couldn't say a word for a few seconds

"Are you drunk?" her mum gave a deep sigh and continued what she was doing

"I just" she laughed more "I just… how I wish I could do the magic trick of disappearing and appearing to the places I want to"

"Are you heading out?" mami noticed that she was all dressed up

"Yes mami, Helsi called that she needed my attention, and she wants me to come over to see her"

"At Butrico's home?"

"Yes mami" Lusi went closer for a hug

"What's that? Am I your husband?"

"I miss him" She kept hugging

"Mami, could you follow me?"

"To Butrico's home to see Helsi?" Her mum asked

"Yes"

"How long are we staying there?"

"We might spend the night there" Lusi knew that was the part that her mum didn't like

"What?" she stopped and looked at her

"Mami please, there are rooms at his home and it's bigger for comfort, you won't regret it I promise mum"

"They can come here darling like they have done in the past" Her mum responded

"Please mum" Lusi pleaded with her mum to follow her until she finally aggress

"Yes!" Lusi screamed

"Under one condition"

"What's that? Lusi sighed

"That we would be back home first thing tomorrow morning"

"Of course mami, we would be back first thing tomorrow morning"

"Alright, I need to go upstairs to change my cloth

" OK mum, I would be waiting for you here in the living room, and please hurry mum, I know how you go in and spend hours just on dressing "

"Do you want me to come or not?" Her mum turned to Lusi

"I'm sorry" Lusi laughed "My boss lady, take your time, it's not that dark so we can walk safely to his place" Lusi said looking through the window

When her mum got dressed, they made sure they checked every corner of the house for security purpose, then they left

When they got to Butrico's home, Lusi called Helsi to grand then access to the gate since she couldn't reach Butrico

Helsi came out very quick at if she was standing at the door, waiting for her to get there

"Hey" She ran to the gate

"My love" Lusi responded

"Hi mum" Helsi saw that she came with her mum

She quickly opened the gate for them to come in

"Welcome mami" Helsi went for a hug

"Thank you" Mum said and hugged her tight

"But you asked me if I was drunk" Lusi said

Her mum turned to Lusi and laughed then she turned back to Helsi "How are you doing dear?"

"I'm good mama, I really am"

"Alright, let's go in already, the heat is burning my skin"

"OK mum" Helsi said and showed her the way in, she didn't want to be the first to go in, wanted to have some conversation with Lusi

"Where is Butrico?" Lusi whispered to Helsi

"I don't know, he probably went out to cool his head off" Helsi whispered too

"Alright" Lusi responded and continued walking straight to his home

It wasn't as big as Lusi had portrait it to be to me

Mum turned to Lusi and gave a deep smile

Lusi knew exactly why she gave that looks


They all walked in, mum went to the room Lusi had shown her to be her room then Lusi followed her to her room, she wanted to know everything that had happened

"So what's wrong?" Lusi sst on the bed

"Hmmmm, I love this bed… so soft and sweet" Luci fell straight to the bed

"Yeah, i love it too"

"Alright go on, what happened?"

"I listened to the voice record rights" Helsi said

"OK…"

"Yeah and my sister said she know my Uncle Mardrigo is the original kidnapper and that she was very sure of it because she heard him discussing that he wants to take my company down that's why he took her but he actually intend to take me"


"Woah… ok, that's a lot but at least we've gotten a suspect"

"He told me that he is not the one responsible Lusi, I honestly don't know what to believe again at this point"

"He told you how?"

"I met him" Helsi responded

"You showed him the voice record?"

"No, why would I do that?"

"Alright then, good so how did he know?" Lusi asked

"I met him way before, initially he told me that he knew who was responsible for the kidnap and that he wishes to discuss it with me so we set a time and a place to us to see, this should be like two weeks ago, so he told me that it was Tom who was solely behind it and that he had nothing to do with it"

"Well, we have an evidence that proves Jim wrong"

"I know… but" Helsi was confused

"But what? You don't believe your sister?" Lusi asked

"I believed Mardrigo too"

"Well-" Lusi got interrupted by a call from a strange number

She picked to know why the person was calling

"Who's this?" she asked

"Is this the wife of Paul?" The stranger asked

"Yes" Lusi's heart started pounding, she stood from the bed to hear his next words clearly

"I'm sorry ma'am, but your husband has been in in a terrible accident"
