Mardrigo's POV


I stood as I watched Tom carried away by the police, this time he must have committed a grave sin, which he know nothing about

His family's safety is the most important thing at the moment, so he kept going, thanking God that Tom won't be there to stop him anymore. After countless practice on how he would speak to Tom, and here comes his breakthrough

He walked even faster, approaching the door with a knock

"Tom?"

"No mum, it's Madrigo"

Tom's mum came closer to open the door "Madrigo?" She asked

"Yes mum, I am here to see Tom"

"Do I know you?" She looked at him from head to toe "Why are you here for him?"

"Ma'am, please if you would just let me in, then I would explain everything with you" Mardrigo said

"Leave my house"

He squeezed his eyebrows, he did not get that part

"I said you should leave before I call the police, they are just a few streets before ours" Tom's mum said


"I just needed to see Tom" Madrigo stood in shock

"No" She said at loud, she then turned to close the door

"Not so fast old lady, I've been really soft to you and it seems you are a tough lady, I'm still getting in regardless" Madrigo pushed the door wide

"You would rot in jail, just wait until I get my phone to call the police" she started off shouting then lowered her voice towards him


"Let me just do what I want to do peaceful and without disturbance, I promise not to harm you"


"Please" she now pleaded, the knife was far, he took it far "You bastard!!!" she said beneath her breath


Madrigo went in, tied her up first before she tries anything stupid

Madrigo knew of Tom's secret room inside his home, he has a secret room where he kept humans that have been kidnapped

He searched the house for them first

"Don't you ever listen? I am the only one at home" She shouted

Madrigo gave a deaf ears, he felt like Tom, doing what he wanted and needed to do was something he craved. Leadership.



Madrigo searched everywhere and he turned the house for him upside, after searching searching thoroughly he then walked to the inner secret room

"They have to be here" He said to himself, he turned to make sure nobody was following him because Tom value that place

"He is coming for you jobless fool" Tom's mum kept shouting, throwing those words at him

Madrigo did not see his family, his last conclusion was in the unusual buildings


He left to the place as soon as he could,

"I would be back before you know it," he said as he looked at Helsi's mum

"Untie me" she smirked her brows in disguise over his unfriendly face

"Not, not until I have my family back"

"You are not going anywhere until you Untie me you bastard" She said at the top of her voice

"Watch me" Madrigo walked out of the house, and went further to the unusual place for crime





Helsi's POV

The morning came in very quickly and quiet, the brightness stroke her eyes, waking her up

"Jeez" she screamed

"Hey, it's fine" Butrico said

"It's not OK to sit and watch someone sleep very closely Butrico"


"Yes boss" he smiled but the message across was sent

Helsi stood away from her bed, going downstairs when she stumbled on Lusi

"Hey" she hastened her footsteps

"I'm still upset at you" Lusi said to her

"I'm sorry, so sorry" Helsi pleaded

"It's fine, let's just find a way to solve that issue of Racheal and everything affected"

"That feels so much better" Helsi inhaled deeply

They both walked downstairs together, going straight for a drink

"So tell me, do you still love Tom?" Lusi asked as she sips her wine

"Yes, I still very much love him but it doesn't mean that I cannot survive without him"

"Good"

They were interrupted by a knock on the door

"I'll go get it" Lusi stood and walked to the door, Helsi sat quiet, thinking as she sips her wine

"Tom?" Lusi was in total shock

Helsi heard this, she stood up well and walked to the door, she needed to see what was happening

"What happened, Lusi?" Helsi asked as she went closer

Lusi then opened the door wider

Helsi ran to Tom

"You bastard" she kept hitting him on his upper chest, tears rolled out

"What were you doing there last night?" Tom stopped her and asked


"Is she your new wife?" Helsi ignored the question

"The police are here, let's go rot in jail"


"I hated you right from time, so you brought them and showed them exactly where I was"


"Yes" Tom said with a smile and so much confidence


Helsi went closer and gave him a slap, he couldn't do anything, his hands were tied up too

She then walked to the police officer standing few steps away "I will make it with my lawyer"

"OK" the police officer responded

Helsi walked back to her foot, but first at Tom

"Fuck you" she said out if annoyance

"Let's move on Tom," The police officer ordered for him to go in the car

Helsi walked back into her home

"Did anybody else see that? What had just happened?" Helsi was concerned


"No, just me and you"

"OK" Helsi responded

"What did you say out there? " Lusi asked


"Well, Tom brought them for me, he saw me last night" Helsi looked a Lusi for a response

"What?!!" Lusi slammed the table


"I guess, someone saw me after all"

"Call your lawyer" Lusi said

I already sent a message to him already "

" OK, I would just go upstairs to let Joy and Butrico know about it "

" Alright, I need to shower now so that I can get to the police station smelling good and pretty "Helsi smiled

" Yeah, I love the energy "
