Going Back To Office

Helsi's POV

After taking some time off, sending a message to my editor and fixing a time with him for a meeting about what had happened

I went to the bathroom, I had just remembered that I haven't checked the bathroom to see how is is

She walked in really slow, she was already undressed with her towel around her neck

"Wow" she said to herself in a whisper, as her eyes scanned through every corner of the bathroom

"He is a neat guy" she added, she noticed how clean everything in the bathroom was


She went straight under her shower and turned it on, her eyes still travelled round the bathroom

After spending some time in amazement and showering, she finally came out of the shower

She came out feeling refreshed as ever, she then walked to her night gown and wore it, she touched her stomach always as usual, talking to it

"I won't let him come near you" she said rubbing her stomach

After her chit-chat with her stomach, she stood up to go to the living room to eat the food that Butrico had prepared

She took her time, the aroma was enticing but not like her Sammy… not like his food, but he tried

Butrico had already dished the food out on the dining table

"Hey" he stood up "I was about to come call you" he added

"I'm here already" She smiled and walked towards him

He walked fast to where she would sit down and pushed the chair out for her to sit, then adjusted it for me

"You don't have to worry, I can do it myself" Helsi smiled

"I don't want you stressed out" Butrico walked back to his chair

Helsi gave a flattered looks at what he had just said, if she wasn't flattered when she met him, she is now

"Thank you" she replied

They both ate, Helsi enjoyed the meal, she wasn't expecting a meal that smells like that to taste like this

"I really did enjoy the meal" She said

He nodded his head with a smile, he stood up to take the dishes to the kitchen to wash them

Helsi just sat there in shock, she wasn't sure they were more than one of these kind of men in earth, "he didn't even try to touch me" she thought to herself

He acted so well and with so much care, she knew that she had been rude at him for some time but she is beginning to have a change of mind

"Do you need help?" Helsi asked at the top of her voice

"No" Butrico responded from the kitchen "Go on to rest, you can stay at the living room, I got some catchy movies downloaded"

"Gosh… exactly what I needed honestly"

"Alright" he laughed from the kitchen "Go on watching without me, I would be there when I am done"

"Nope, I would be there waiting for you, just hurry before I sleep off" Helsi stood laughing, she knew herself well enough to know that she never finish watching a movie that she starts because of stress and tiredness

"Yes ma'am" Butrico responded

Helsi walked to the living room, looking at its glamorous beauty radiating all over the living room

She went straight to the sofa to sit on it to wait for Butrico

He came out quickly just as he had promised he will, he carried two glasses with a bottle of wine for the movie

Lucky for him, Helsi was still awake

"That was fast though" Helsi adjusted herself well for Butrico to sit down well

"Popcorn would have gone better" Helsi said as she stretched her hand for a glass then to the bottle to get some wine

"Yeah, I thought as much but I've got none at the moment" He said

"OK, I understand"

He turned to the TV and put his long time favourite ~Operation Mincemeat~

"Alright" Helsi readjusted her thighs and smiled

They started watching it together for a long time until Helsi fell asleep when they had just gone half an hour

Butrico noticed how she fell to his shoulders, he turned to help her wake up by slightly trapping her but she was already deep into the sleep

So he carried her to her room, she won't be there on the sofa, the discomfort that the chair brings, he didn't want that for Helsi he wanted her to be as comfortable as ever, so he carried her really gently to her room


Helsi woke up the next wondering how she had gotten to her room, she stood immediately to walk to the door to go ask Butrico how did that before a call came in

"Welcome back to office"

The voice sounded familiar but she couldn't quite place it yet

"The commander in chief" he said in a mockery way

"Ohh" she laughed

"I can go back to my company and resume work?" She asked over the phone

"Yes ma'am you can, when you are ready to, please come in very fast and ready for the examination" the police officer said over the phone

"I will do just that, thank you" Helsi said and ended the call


Helsi stood from her bed really glad that she could go back, it wasn't up to 5 minutes, she got some information that they had gotten the guy that kidnapped her sister

She hurried to the company

"I could drop you off" Butrico said, sitting on the sofa in the living room, he noticed that she was in a hurry

"Oh thank you, I would really appreciate that" Helsi was already panting like she was some teenager running to go to her boyfriend

"Alright, let me get my car keys" Butrico hurried to his room

"OK" Helsi replied in a whisper

She waited for him at the door, was constantly tapping her feet and staring at the door

She would have gone all by herself but she needed protection from Tom, she had split second to think about that when Butrico asked

"Here, let's go" Butrico joined her in running to the car

"Where are you going to?" he asked

"The company" she responded with a smile

"Yours?" he turned to her

"Yeah, it's been under investigation for the past two months which means there won't be any activity running under it, so yes… I really excited about it" Helsi responded

"Wow that's good to hear, really great, I wish you the best" He touched her hand

"Don't get us killed" She said for him to focus on the road

"Are you talking to an expert in driving?"

"Experts die if they make mistake on the road while driving" she replied
