The Coincidence



Rachel's POV

"For your own child?" Racheal screamed

"I am trying my best Racheal, can't you see?" he went close to her to touch her

"Which best?, you can't even afford a diaper" Racheal kept on ranting about the things Dan couldn't do for her and her child

Dan was Racheal's love right from high school, she did not care whether he was rich or poor. She was blinded by love as she would say to her friends. But it became an issue gradually, when he got her pregnant

"I got an appointment today, I have a feeling that this would work, for our child… for you"

"Everytime, you say this everytime" Racheal was upset, looking for a means to cut tiles with Dan, she did not want anything to come between her and Tom

"What's wrong Racheal, why are you this upset? What do you want?" Dan asked

"I…I just want you to man up, go for this appointment you said you have, and if you don't come back with better news, then it's over between us"

"I promise babe, it will be successful," Dan reassured her. "Put on a smile huh, you look way prettier with a smile on"

"Whatever" Racheal rolled her eyes, trying to hide her smile, but she couldn't. He always does that, he always has her button

"That's my baby girl" Dan kissed her forehead



Tom's POV



"Are you sure about this?" The Doctor asked


"Yes I am, I would just see her briefly and get back, she must be going through alot at the moment" Tom said

"The investigation and search for her sister should have begin"

"That I don't know, but I want to see her and make sure she is OK, and to know how the company was attacked" Tom added

"OK sir, you would be discharged now, besides you are good and ready to go home"


It's been two weeks since he had been in the hospital, and on hearing the attack on Helsi, he became worried.

He tried calling Racheal but her line wasn't going through, then he decided to pass by her house, he did not want to go see Helsi without her consent

Still leaping, he summons the courage to ignore the pain he still feels, David ran to him quickly to help him get to the car

"How are you feeling sir?" David asked

"I am feeling better David, how have you been?"

"I have been good sir, I am happy you feel better" David added with a smile

"Thank you, I want you to take me to Racheal's house, I want to see her briefly before going to see Helsi" Tom said

"It must be so difficult for her right now" David stood Helsi out

"Who?"

"Helsi" David answered

David nodded his head, trying to shake off any form of regrets, thinking he was the cause of it, if he had not left or cheated but "Damn" He thought out loud, he loves Racheal

"Is everything OK sir?" David asked looking through the side mirror as he drove the car

"Yes, I am OK… we are almost there, stop at the next door" Tom instructed

Tom came down, went to Racheal's door and knocked

"Are you expecting someone?" Dan asked

"No baby, I am not" Racheal said over the kitchen door

"OK, let me get the door" David stood to check the door




Mardrigo POV



"Good… good, bring her in let me see" Mardrigo laughed and ended the call "Finally I can be in charge, the new CEO" his laughed even harder

The men cover her face and tied her mouth really tight so she won't be able to make a sound, inviting helpers or the police

They carried her straight to Mardrigo

"Deal done, can I have my money now?" Darel asked

"Yes you can but, I have to make sure you captured the right person" Mardrigo went closer to pull out the mask used to cover her face "What the hell!!, who is she?" Mardrigo shouted

"Helsi, you said you wanted her… so here she is" Darel stood confident

Nancy murmured, she couldn't speak clearly because her mouth were tied

Darel untied her "Who are you?"

"Well… you picked the wrong person," Nancy smiled


Helsi's POV


After describing everything that had happened to the police that came to the company just before the kidnappers left. Helsi carried her bag, called David immediately to come pick her up from the office. She needed to go home for a moment

"Where have you been?" Tom's mum slammed Helsi immediately she entered "You look like a mess, aren't you supposed to be in the hospital with Tom, you knew all this while but you kept quiet, you don't deserve Tom one bit" She shouted

Helsi wasn't listening, she wasn't even hearing what she was saying, she just walked straight to her room, went straight into the shower


"Helsi" Tom's mum was constantly screaming her name downstairs "Get down here" but Helsi gave a deaf ear


She turned the shower on slowly, hoping… praying that it was all a nightmare and it wasn't true

"Who would do this?" She screamed at the top of her voice "Who?..." he paused and came to a realisation "Could it be?... Racheal" she stood from the floor "I swear Racheal I am going to take you fucking head off you neck" she said with so much anger as she went out of the bathroom.

She wore her cloth quickly, then she went out, going after Racheal
