His Release His Revenge


Tom's POV

Every second felt like a hundred years, and days like a million years

He knew how upset he was with time when he wasn't in jail, in and out of business contract, he was upset at how time travelled really fast

But now… as if the universe had listened to his prayers, it went really slow, he hated every morning, waking up to the same nightmare

"Tom" The security guard called out immediately he opened the lock, his name bounced through every corner of the building waking all the men up

Tom heard his name but he gave no response, there was no purpose to his life again therefore he lost zeal, even to speak

The guard walked up to his cell, and called his name again "Tom" this time in a low deep voice

"Are you blind? Can't you see me? Say what you want to already" Tom responded

"Get your fucking things ready, and be ready to face the judge" he said and left

A part of Tom was relieved that he could at least leave this place but another wondering what the judge had decide about him

He had some criminal records in the past, like that of his sister

He groaned and turned to his left to stand up in preparation to face the judge

After about 20 minutes, the guard came in again "Get your shit up" he said unlocking his cell

He walked in and tied his hand behind to prevent any of his stupid acts


"You scared huh?" Tom laughed

The security guard ignored what he just said even though it angered him, he knew that was Tom's way of pushing someone's button

He pushed him to the door then outside, a police car was already outside waiting to take him to the court

The guard kept hitting him at his back, pushing him forward

When they got to the car he pushes him harder into the car

"I hope to see you again" the security guard said with a grin

"Of course you will, and you would beg for mercy when I do" Tom laughed

The police officer slammed the door in his laughter "What's the dumbass problem?" the police officer asked the security guard with a laugh as he turned to enter the car

"He is a fucking pschychopath" he said and turned back to the cell ward

They drove slow and steady, the police officer that sat opposite his mate that drove, kept his eyes fixed on Tom

Tom kept laughing, this didn't freak the old man old

"Why did you kill her?" the old police officer asked

"What are you… we aren't supposed to…" His colleague driving turns to him

"I know" He replied and turned to Tom who still sat there laughing

"Why did you kill her?" He asked again

"I did not kill her you fool" Tom said

"Was it because of your wife?"

"Which wife?" Tom asked

"Is your divorce official?"

"It will, so until then we are not together"

"What are you saying young man?" The old man asked

"Could you mind your fucking business" Tom slammed him

"She know who is responsible for the kidnap though" he said and turned to mind his business like Tom had said

Tom was shocked, didn't quite grasp what he meant but he felt that he was talking about Helsi and the kidnap of her sister

His laughter suddenly faded away, he became really sweaty and his heart started racing faster than ever

The thought of breaking out of this police car and running away kept squeezing his brain out, he was scared even though he did not want to show it

The old man noticed his silence and uneasiness

"Damn" he said beneath his breath, he felt his world was coming against him, one problem after another, his revenge on Mardrigo was still on his mind

They got close to the court, the closer they got he felt he saw his death coming closer

They found a parking spot and drove in slowly, some guard were already outside waiting for him

The old police officer came out and motioned for a guard to come open the door for Tom

Tom wondered why he wouldn't just open the door, since he was close to it than the guard he called was

"Get down" he said immediately he opened the door, he stared at Tom like he had slept with his wife

Tom ignored his looks and walked and walked straight into the courtroom

Everywhere was silent, nobody moving around like it should

Well he couldn't explore other part of the building as he was followed by some security officers

Anxious to see his audience, he gave a deep sigh before the door was opened

His eyes went straight to David, Racheal's husband sitted down, his eyes scanned through the room to see if Helsi or Mardrigo came but he couldn't find then neither could he find his mum

The guard behind him noticed how he kept looking around, he then pushed him to go straight to where he was supposed to sit

"Go on" The judge said to the lawyer that stood for Helsi

"Here is the result my lord" he passed the test results to the guard close to the judge to pass it to him

"Two months pregnant?"

"Yes my lord" The lawyer said

Tom didn't know why they would bring up another matter during his case, or he could be pregnant?

He laughed to that silly thought

"What exactly is funny?" The judge faced Tom

"Tom, would you please just let this case run peacefully, you are going to get out of this place, just don't mess it up" Tom's lawyer seated close to him whispered to his ears


The judge then continued his eyes movement through the paper given

After reading through, he cleared his throat and made a final judgement that the case of Racheal's death be adjourned and Tom be released under serious supervision since not all facts faced towards him guilty
