Chapter One hundred and Fifteen

Keith and I drove to the location. The old blind woman didn't stop showing in my dream.

I would never forgive myself if anything happened to Arya.

We got to the location but I noticed something different. It looked like there was a raid. The gate was ajar without any security which was unusual.

"What was Logan up to?" I thought

"This could be a trap?" Keith said

"Wait here in the car while I go and check for myself"

"This could be Logan's plan"


"I'll have to find out. Wait here" I told Keith and I made sure my gun was loaded properly and placed it at the back of my trouser.


Then o got down from the car. It was dark but the light form that building, and it still wasn't enough for me to see. I didn't want to use a torch light so I don't draw any attention to myself. I looked around to make sure no one was spying on me.

I walked quietly to the gate and then I noticed there was a body lying by the gate. I looked around still but there was no one on sight.


I bent down quietly and touched his neck to make sure he was truly dead. And there was no pulse. He was dead.

"What is gong on?" I asked myself

I still walked a little further and so some other body lying on the floor. I touched them and they also didn't have a pulse. I found Dole as well, he was lying lifeless on the ground.

"Dole. Dole" I shook him but he didn't move then I checked his pulse but he had none.

He was dead. His mother would be devastated if she found out about her son's death. I wanted to carry him out but i could not. I had to find Arya first.

Something must have happened here. I looked around but they were all lying down. I rushed over to the hall where Dole had told me Arya was at. But it was open.

"Something was not right here"

I went over to the store part of the house where Logan used to stay. Then I found him. He was lying down in the pool of his own blood.

"Arya!! Arya!!" I shouted but there was no response

Keith came over and saw me, he tried to shut me up.

"Boss.. you shouldn't be shouting. Let's get out of here this minute"

"I have failed Arya."

"We are not giving up now." Keith
insisted.

"Where do we find them now?" I thought.


"While you left, I noticed one of them trying to sneak them and only him can tell us what happened here"

"Where is he?" I asked immediately

"In the trunk of the car"


I rushed out immediately and pulled the man out of the trunk.

He was dressed like one of Logan's men
and so he was definitely gong to have an idea of why happened here.


"Please don't kill me." He pleaded

But I wasn't having any of it. I gave him a hard punch already.

"What happened here?" I asked him

"I don't know. Please let me go. I have a pregnant wife to go home to" he pleaded.

I pulled out my gun and pointed it to his face.

"It's either you start taking or you die"

"Okay. I saw some men come in here and take the siren away after shooting the others. I over heard them calling the beach. That is all I know I swear"

"The beach?" Keith asked

"That didn't make sense to me but that was what I heard them saying"

"They will take her home" isla had said

"We need to get going immediately" I said

"This guy isn't saying the truth Mar" Keith said

"We have to get to the beach immediately" i shouted and moved to open the door.

"What do we do with the man?" Keith asked

"He goes with us" I said


Keith pushed the man into the back seat and entered as well and then he drove like a crazy person to the beach. It was late and so there was no traffic or cars on the way.


We got to the beach, it was dark and we didn't see anyone.


"I told you Mar this man was  lying"

"No he isn't. Look over there" I said pointing to what I could see.


They had formed a circle around her and it looked like they were saying some spells.

I ordered Keith to shoot before they even realize they had company. And he stared shooting, each of them dropped down one after the other.


One of them pulled Arya to him and held a gun to Arya's head as i got closer.

"Let her go" i said

"I'd kill her if you come closer"

I could not shoot now because he had her in his hand with a gun to her head. She looked really pale and sick. I where'd to rip the idiots head off for subjecting her to this. I wanted to do same to Logan but he was already taken care of.
Before I could say anything else, Arya pushed him and ran towards me and then I shot at him now she was not covering him. And he also shot his gun as well.

Then I realize he had shot her when she shouted.

And before she hit the ground I was already by her side. And she fell right into my hands.

"Stay with me Arya" i said

"Please forgive me" she stuttered

"I have forgiven you and I want you back. Please don't give up" i shouted as he kept patting her on the cheeks but I she was gradually closing her eyes.


"Nooo" I shouted

Keith rushed over to me and helped me carry her up. We took her straight to the hospital. She was taken to the surgical ward immediately.

I waited at the door for the doctor to come out. I kept pacing up and down.

"Mar you should calm down. She will be fine"

"I won't rest till I'm sure if that" I said

I spent hours waiting for the doctor to come out, but none showed up and I continued to wait.

Then the doctor came out, then I rushed over to him.

"How is she?" I asked

He shook his head a little and I noticed the sad look on his face then I held his shirt.

"Calm down"

"Don't ask me to calm down. How the fuck is she?" I asked

"She is in a coma"

"What?"

"Take it easy"

"Where is she now?"

"She will be moved to a ward where she will be monitored properly. I believe she will be fine." The doctor said

I had failed her. I could have prevented all of this if I had gone a little earlier, now she was suffering because of me.

"It is all my fault" I said

Keith walked in after the doctor had left.

"I heard your voice. What did the doctor say?"

"She is in a coma and it is all my fault"

"Don't say that. You did your best"

"It wasn't good enough"


My phone was ringing but I refused to pick it up. Keith took it and picked it up.
After speaking for a while the call ended.

"It's Mera's doctor"
Maybe some good news.

"What did he say?" I asked

"She is fine now and wants to see you"

I and Keith went over to the psychiatric part of the hospital.

I saw Mera and when she saw me she smiled and came to meet me in. I hugged her. It was good to see her well.

"You are looking better" i said

"And I have you to thank for that"

"Let's get you to seat, you have been through a lot. You should not stress yourself" I said

"What about Arya? Have you found her?"

I was mute for a while.

"Talk to me. How about Arya?" She asked


"She is here"

"Then why is she not here with you" sje asked

"She is in a coma"

"How? what happened to her?"

"She got shot but the doctor said she will be fine"

"I'm so sorry about that" Mera consoled me but I still felt like a failure.


"The doctor said you can go home today"


"Yes. I'm glad and I want to be out of here soon"

"Good to know bit you won't be going home. You will beat Whig at my place with Keith to keep an eye on you"

"Mar..." she called
"Yes.. it's an order so do as I say"

"And where would you be?" She asked

"Beside Arya"

I asked Keith to take Mera home and make sure she is okay. Then I went to find out where Arya was kept and the nurse directed me to it.

Her eyes were closed and she just lay there. I pulled a sit and moved to her bed side and held her hand.

"I'm not giving up on you. Not now not tomorrow  because I love you"

I was gong to stay by her side till she got out of coma.

And then I kissed her hand. I kept looking at her, she looked really pretty bit what I wanted to see the most was her beautiful smile.

I wanted to kiss her lips and hold her in my arms and reassure her of my love for her. She was my life and all I will ever want. She completed me and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. But I needed to tell her all of this. I wanted her to hear me when I say them.
