Chapter Seventy Nine

Mar's Pov

The next day came and I went to see the doctor. He took me into his office and we sat down.


I brought out my phone and showed him a picture of Arya, which I had taken some time ago.


"If you see her anywhere in the hospital call me immediately"


"What if she is in a hurry?"


"I need you to keep her longer. Make her stay a little until I see her please"


"Okay.. I'll do that. Send the picture to my email" the doctor said and I sent it.

I spent the rest of the day in the office while the rest of the gang went for a siren hunt.
I tried as much to respond to clients I had kept waiting for so long and then I went home. Showered and slept off.

The next day


I had a lazy morning, I stayed in bed all through the morning thinking of how else to find Arya. I have not received any message yet.

My phone beeped and I picked it up to check, hoping it was a message from Arya but it wasn't.

It was from the hospital. I stood up immediately. It said she was there. Arya was in the hospital.

I quickly put on something to wear and risked downstairs.

"Jade hands me the keys" I shouted and he threw the keys in my direction and I caught them.

I drove like a madman, I beat the traffic and got there.

I got to the reception and they directed me to the ward that she went to. I rushed to the ward. And there she was.

The moment she saw me, I noticed how shocked she was. She was not expecting to see me.

"Was this all a setup?" She asked

"I tried to...." but words failed me. I was so happy to see her.

Even if I was meant to be upset that she stayed away, seeing her made me forget all about that. I just wanted to hold her close to me, just like in my dreams.

"Answer me" she shouted

"You went missing and you got everyone scared," I said as I went closer.

Arya stood up and moved away. She was trying to tell me to stay away. But I ignored her reaction and went closer to her. I hugged her so tight and she hugged him back.


"I missed you so much and I had to do something to bring you back."

Arya didn't say a word, she just hugged me so tight and I knew she had missed me too.

"Why did you leave Arya?"

"I had to... I was scared"

"Scared? Of what? Of me?"

I was confused.


"Why was she scared? Did someone scare her?"


I didn't want to ask her too many questions yet but a lot of it plagued my mind. She needed all the rest she could get.

"I'm sorry but I was scared"

"I am here to protect you Arya, and I will do that till my last breath"

"Tell me what scares you..."

"I see the people chasing me and I think it's not safe," she said 

"I'll protect you, Arya. Please come home with me" I pleaded and she agreed.

When we got to the house, Mera and Jade were still there. They didn't hide their joy when they saw Arya. Mera hurried over to her and hugged her.


I waited for her to be done with them, but it seemed like they wouldn't ever be. She needed her rest.

"Come, baby," I said to Arya.

She came over to meet him and I held her hand as we walked into the house. I held her so tight. I didn't want to let her go.
I wanted her by my side at all times. I missed her skin against mine.


She excused herself but I was scared that she might run away again. I wanted to go with her but she promised me to rerun.

"It's just a call," she said


"You look really tired, a hot shower will be perfect," I said

Arya went up to the room and had a shower and when she came downstairs I had made dinner.

"Dinner is served," I said with so much joy in my heart.
I was happy she was here with me. Her presence made me forget all that had gone wrong in the past couple of days.

I watched her eat and sip her drink. The way her tongue licked her lips and I could feel myself getting really hard.

My dreams hadn't made it easy for me. I had seen us making love every time I closed my eyes. And now she was sitting right in front of me.  After eating we went back to my room and we laid down in bed.
I pulled her closer to me and she came willingly.

Even though she had said less. Her actions showed she missed me too. And I didn't want to talk. I just wanted action.
And so I bent my head and kissed her on the lips and she seized the moment and kissed me back hungrily.

By now I was rock hard and throbbing. My pants became too tight, I wanted her more than I ever had. I didn't want to rush her into this and I'll let her make that decision


She kept tugging at my polo. She wanted to take it off my head.

"Do you really want this?"

"Yes... Yes, I do... I missed you" she said and took over immediately

"I missed you so much ?"

"I want you."

Then leaning in close I looked her in the eyes and

"Don't you ever leave me again"

She looked up at me, her eyes were filled with remorse and hurt, but I could still see the one I loved and the one who loved me, looking back, just waiting for me to receive her back. The corners of my mouth curled up in a slight smile, admitting it. She reached out and took my hand, she placed it on her chest.

"I promise not to leave you until you say otherwise," she said

I would never ask her to leave because she has my heart and I could not live without her. And I was sure of that.
