Chapter Fifty

Mar's Pov

"What was she thinking getting into the water when she did not know how to swim," I said to myself.

I kept her on the benches for a while. I loved over to Jade and saw him trying to get his breath.


His face was swollen from the punches I threw at him.

"We are not done yet," I said to Jade.

I carried her up to the room and changed her out of the clothes she was wearing. It was wet already. And then replaced them with one of my big polos.

I was furious and scared at the same time. I almost lost her because of her carelessness. Her shivering got worse and covered her properly with a duvet. I added sleeping pills for her and then left her. She needed to rest for a while.

I went downstairs, I needed to take in a few shots of hot drink to calm my nerves and figure out what next to do.

I saw Jade seatings t the living room and the moment he saw me he stood up and I could see fear in his eyes. His lips were still bleeding I must have hit him so hard.

"What exactly are you still doing here?"

"I want to explain all I know and to let you know that I would never betray you. I owe you my life and it hurts that you do not trust me enough"

"I never told the headquarters about the siren or anything that had to do with you"

"Then who did?"

"I do not know but I will find out."

"Then what about the siren?"

"I knew about that but I wanted to be sure about it first. My ring kept giving me a signal especially when I am around the house but each time I wanted to follow the signal it went off"

"And how is that possible?" I asked. It was confusing. That had never happened.


"That was why I didn't tell you anything because I know how much you hate to follow a blind lead"

I was beginning to understand him and the point he was trying to make. Now I listened to what he said, I began to feel guilty. I should have listened to him earlier before taking out my anger on him.

But somehow I was relieved that he was not the mole and I was glad. Now we would work together to find out who the mole was and why we are unable to identify the siren.

"Keep your eyes on the rest and let me know of any shady movement and for the siren, we will do that together"

"Yes I will do as you have ordered"

"Do not forget to watch Arya's back too. She would not be happy if I restrict her movement that's why I want you to follow her discreetly where-ever she goes"

Jade's lips were already swollen from the punches that I gave him.

"How is Arya doing?" He asked

"She's asleep right now, I gave her some sleeping pills for her to rest for a while"

"There is ice in the kitchen, use it for your face it will help," I said and turned back to go upstairs. And then I turned to him.

"I'm sorry for not believing you at first"

"It's fine," he said and then I went upstairs.
I know he was feeling really bad because of my distrust l for him. But I trusted him, I was just confused.

When I got back to the room Arya was still asleep. I joined her on the bed and pulled her closer to me to give her more warmth.

"What a sweet soul she was," I said to myself as I smiled


She stirred a little exposing her thighs, and that alone was enough to turn me on. I was mad at her for the risk she took but right now all I wanted to do was bury my head in between her chest while she had me inside of her and rode me till I scream out in ecstasy.

My shorts got a little tighter as my manhood got hard just from thinking about it. But this was not the time for it, she needed all the rest she could get.

I took a cold shower to help with my hard-on. After taking a cold shower, I joined her in bed as I wrapped my hands around her, and then sleep took over.

I fled a hard tap on my chest and woke up immediately. And I saw Arya awake and I could see she was upset. But I was bothered by her.

"How are you feeling now?"

"Why did I sleep for so long? What happened to me? You almost killed Jade why?"

"One question at a time baby... I gave you some sleeping meds after I brought you to the room. You were having a fever"

"What were you thinking jumping into the water when you cannot swim?"

"I wanted to stop you from killing Jade. You were almost doing that"

"Well, I thought he betrayed me."

"How could you think such? Jade is one person I know that would willingly give his life up for you"

"The headquarters got information about me and the only person who could do that was someone close to me"

"And I'm sure he isn't the one"

"Why are you so sure?"

"He told me about how you saved and taken care of him till date and he is very loyal to you"

"Well I was confused and that's why I acted that way"

"Who are the headquarters? Why are they trying to get information about you?"


"I used to work for the headquarters before I found out about their plot to kill me and then I stopped working for them and formed my own gang. And since then they have been looking for ways to get to me"


"You need to be very careful Baby. I do not want anything to happen to you. I would not be able to take it if anything happened to you"

"I will try my best and I will make sure you are safe too"

And she climbed on top of me and started stroking me. I knew what that meant and I could not stop myself as she urged on.

I was not surprised at how she spoke.
If she could jump into the water to stop me from beating Jade then I was sure she could do much for me.

"You love me that much?"

And she began blushing and then she bent her mouth to mine and kissed me.
