Chapter Forty Four

I woke up the next day feeling really sad. I went downstairs and they had all gone out. I spent most of the day at home alone.
Laurie wasn't coming back anytime soon and I had no job. I wanted to go back to my apartment but I couldn't because I was scared of being alone.

I heard noises and so I rushed downstairs to speak to Mar and he gave me a cold shoulder and then walked out.


"He will come around," Mera said as she tapped me on my shoulders.


I hoped so. I wanted him to allow me to apologize properly.

I went into the kitchen to get something to eat but along the line, o lost my appetite and went back to the room.


Thinking of the situation of things made me.

A couple of days passed and Mar kept ignoring me. He didn't check up on me anymore and this gave me so much worry.


Each time I spoke about it with either Mera or Jade as those are his closest they'd tell me not to worry and that he will come around, but I didn't see that happening.


I made food for him but he never ate it. The whole thing was begging to get to me and I just wanted to leave.


I had yet another dream and I became so scared. I got up from bed and went to Mars. He was the only person I needed at this point and then I met a lady on his bed. She barely had clothes on.

I was heartbroken.

"Was this the only way he could think of punishing me?"

And then he walked out of the bathroom with a robe on. I didn't need to be told what was going on and so I turned my back and left his room.

As I ran to my room, tears blurred my vision. I made it to my bed and cried myself to sleep.

The best morning I made up my mind to leave. I was tired of the hurt I felt in my heart knowing that Mar was intentionally trying to punish me and it was so damn painful.

I was packing my clothes into my suitcase when the door opened and I didn't care to check who had walked in. I knew it was him even though I wasn't expecting him.


"What do you think you are doing?" He asked


"Isn't it obvious... I'm leaving you"

"Why?"


And the tears fell from my eyes. I tried to speak but the tears wouldn't let me. I felt like I was going to choke.

And then he came and held me from behind.


"Let me go"

That had become a constant word for me, just that in this case it was a lot different.

" I know I was wrong to have left without telling you but is sleeping with another woman the best way to punish me?"

"I didn't sleep with any other woman"

"You don't have to lie to me, I saw her"

"I know what you saw but nothing happened. That was a compromising situation and I know what's going through your head"


"No you don't.. you don't" the tears came harder this time.

"I'm sorry if that hurt you but I promise I didn't do anything with that woman"

I saw the sincerity in his eyes and I heard it in his voice. I didn't want any of this to linger and I missed him so much already. We had spent almost 6 days without each other.

I turned around and hugged him properly and then he kissed me. As much as I missed him, I wanted him to.


And as he held me close to him I could smell his cologne, and it turned me on even more. We started kissing hungrily like we had been starving for the taste of each other. I had and from the way he was kissing me back, I knew it was the same for him. I then started kissing his neck, then biting and sucking. His skin tasted so sweet.


He reached for me pulling my gown and undies off kissing my neck and then my breasts. He grabbed one of my breasts and took my nipple into his mouth sucking hard and biting it.


And then he lifted his head and brought his mouth to mine. Our lips brushed softly. He held my head and liked into my eyes and then pulled me bent down again to kiss me.

Our lips found each other again, only with more force this time. My mouth opened and the tip of his tongue moistened my dry lips.


"I love you," Mar whispered.

"I love you too."

And then his tongue wrestled with mine and I took his lower lip between my teeth and tugged gently. He quickly pulled off his clothes.

I was already wet and ready for him and so he lifted me with my legs and he entered with one strong thrust.

"Oooooh ... baby" I moaned and he continued his thrusts.

"I love you, baby," he said in between breaths as he went in and out.

He took me over to the bed and placed me on it and continued his thrusting. I felt his mouth on my neck, and from the way, we lay my breast was rubbing on his bare chest, his manhood was bringing me closer and closer to pleasure with every thrust.

My legs began to shake as I wrapped them around his body, my nails scratching into the skin on his back, and his mouth finds my mouth, his tongue tastes my salvia.


I can feel his warmth inside me. Mars's arms began to shake, his grip on my thighs as hands loosened as he was fighting his control. And my body joined and we both came together. After a few seconds of shaking, we finally calmed down and then looked at each other.


"I'm sorry about what you saw. I love you, and would never cheat on you," mar said as he pulled a strand of my hair and kissed me on my cheeks.


"I'm sorry for sneaking out and over reacting"

He pulled me closer and kissed my forehead then he wrapped his arms around me.

And that was all I wanted. I slept peacefully knowing he was right beside me.
