Drinks At The Bar
Brennan Trigger Warning
After the celebration dinner, Leah and I were in the car on our way back to Joey’s house. It was the last night that we would be spending there. We were excited to finally be moving into the house that I bought for Leah while she was in Eden. She had practically talked about it non stop throughout dinner. I knew that I needed to tell her what was going on, and why I wasn’t taking her to the new house tonight. I had plans and I didn’t want to leave her alone. I was worried that she would be angry when I told her what I was doing. I wasn’t sure if I was even going to tell her exactly what I would be doing.
“Brennan?” She called softly as she shifted to wrap her arms around my neck. “What’s on you mind?”
“Nothing.”
“Don’t lie to me. You’ve been doing so well. Don’t backtrack now,” she begged.
I sighed as I took her hand to kiss the back of it. “I’m going to drop you off at Joey and Maddie’s house, and then I’m going out for a few hours.”
She let me go to sit back in her seat as she absorbed my words. When she still hadn’t responded a few minutes later, I turned my head to look at her. “Leah?”
She finally sighed before leaning her head on my shoulder. “You’re going to see Will, aren’t you?” She asked. I sucked in air before nodding. She sighed as she turned her head to kiss my shoulder. “I wish you wouldn’t, but I know why you feel like you have to.”
“Are you upset at me?” I murmured.
“No. I’ve spent enough time with the Morgans’ to know that you all have a protective streak in you.” She paused speaking to look up at me. “Are you going to kill him?”
I immediately stiffened, not knowing exactly how to respond to her as we pulled up in front of Joey’s house. I knew that I was, but I didn’t want to frighten her.
“I am not sure…”
She sighed again. “Yes, you do. I understand why you feel like you have to. He won’t stop coming for me unless he is stopped. As much as I don’t want you to do anything that you will later regret, I understand why you feel like you need to. I’m not going to be mad at you.” She turned fully toward me again to grasp my face in both of her hands to make me meet her eyes. “The only thing I ask is that you come back to me.”
I gently pulled her across the car to cradle her on my lap. “I will, Leah. You’re the only one that I’ve ever wanted to run home to.”
She ran her fingers through my hair before kissing me softly. “Thank you for letting me get my divorce before you did this.”
I smirked at her as I remember the way he drooled when I shocked him. “He almost didn’t make it to the courtroom,” I admitted sheepishly.
She giggled as she shook her head. “You are so protective over me. I love it.”
I pressed my lips against hers. “I love you, Leah. Very much. More than I ever thought that I was capable of doing again.”
She buried her face in my throat for a moment as she whispered, “I love you too, Brennan.”
I held her for a few minutes before she leaned back to smile up at me. “I should probably let you go so you can come home to me sooner.”
“I don’t want to let you go,” I groaned.
“Not even to ‘talk’ to Will?” She inquired, making me shake my head.
“Not even to talk to him.”
“I’d ask you to stay here with me, but I know that this is something you feel like you need to do.” She gripped my face in her hands again. “Just don’t lose yourself.”
“I won’t.”
She kissed me again before climbing out of the car. I watched her walk up to the house before turning to blow me a kiss. As soon as she disappeared inside the door, I put my car in reverse before sitting there tapping my fingers on the steering wheel. I couldn’t help but wonder if her worries were right. Was making sure that WIll could never touch her again something that could make me lose myself? I wasn’t sure if it was or wasn’t. The only thing that I was sure of was that I loved Leah more than anything. As I let my car slowly roll backward, I looked up at the house again.
“Never again, baby. He will never touch you again.”
*******
An hour later, I pulled up in front of the bar. I had gone to Caleb’s house like he asked me to before I went to the bar. While I changed into clothes that I could throw away, he spoke to me about what was about to happen. He wanted me to be sure that I was about it. I was and so here I was, following him into the bar’s basement where Will was attached to a large table in the center of the room. I couldn’t help the sinister smile that lifted my lips as I sauntered up to him. When Rhino stepped into my path, I narrowed my eyes on him.
“Move!” I snapped.
“Brennan, listen to me. Doing this isn’t going to solve all your problems with Leah,” he told me.
“I don’t need or want it to. All I care about is that Leah is safe from him,” I said.
“Alright. Cobra, get the weapons.”
Within seconds, a rolling shelf was brought over to Will’s side, and I walked up to it, immediately picking up a box cutter to cut his clothes off, leaving him naked and bleeding on the table, while he emitted muted cries of pain around the cloth that had been taped into his mouth. I let my eyes fall onto his ballsack, which thankfully still had the shock collar wrapped around it. I smirked at him as I flicked the little box on it, making him jump.
“You know when we put it on you, I wanted to laugh so hard. Now I know why you felt the need to abuse Leah. Did hitting her and choking her make you feel like more of a man? I know your tiny dick wasn’t enough to make you feel like one,” I taunted as I picked up a baseball bat, chuckling when Will’s eyes widened fearfully. “You beat my woman, Will. You tortured her. You raped her. If you think that I’m going to let you live, having done all of that, then you are sorely mistaken. You have gone through your life hurting people weaker than you without consequence, but for Leah, I am the consequence. Hold him down!” I ordered.
Cobra and Rhino grabbed his legs, holding them flat on the table as I stepped up between them. I pursed my lips as I eyed his asshole before shoving the smaller end of the bat into it. His muted scream filled the room, pleading with me to have mercy but I didn’t. I had no mercy to give, at least not to him. I met his eyes as I pushed the bat in deeper, making his body tremble violently. I let the bat go to turn back to the table to pick up a hammer before searching the rest of the shelves for a rod or something. Finding nothing that I could use, I turned to look at Rhino.
“Do you have a rod or something?”
“We have two by fours. Will that work?” He asked.
My eyes lit up as I nodded. “Can I cut it down to fit what I need it for?”
“Yes.”
Caleb hurried across the basement to grab a wooden two by four. When he came back, I picked up a screwdriver before using both tools in my hand to take a chunk off it, leaving one end as a point before letting the rest thicken. As I turned back toward Will, I tossed the screwdriver back onto the shelves. I grinned at him as I held up the little slightly splintered piece of wood. I could have made the edges smoother, but that would defeat the point. I wanted him to be in pain. I wanted to hurt him. I wanted him to feel even a small fraction of the pain that he caused Leah. I put my thigh on the end of the bat that wasn’t buried in his ass, keeping it in place as I put the tip of the wooden chunk in my hand into his penis.
I started to hum happily as I picked up the hammer again. I held the wooden wedge in my hand as I began to tap the top of it, forcing it deeper into his penis, while he tried to thrash around. Caleb climbed on top of the table to restrain him, making him go still as I continued to pound the wedge into his member. When blood spurted out of his cock, my humming stopped so I could chuckle darkly. A few more hits on the top of the hammer, and the tip of the wooden wedge came out of the side of his shaft, causing a flood of blood. I hit it a few more times before dropping the hammer and stepping back. I was more than happy with what I had done. He should have never put his hands on Leah, nor any other body part.
As Caleb climbed off the table, I was a little peeved to see that he was unconscious. It definitely put a damper on my enjoyment, but oh well. He wasn't walking away from this. I was going to make sure of it. I picked up the box cutter again before walking around the table, debating what I was going to do first. I wanted to skin the asshole alive and pour bleach all over him, but I didn’t think he would stay alive long enough for me to finish. Hell, I could tell he was barely hanging on as it was. I stopped beside his head to force his mouth open. I gripped his tongue with two fingers, pulling it out of his mouth so I could saw it off before putting it on his chest.
“That was for all the threats you made toward her. For every derogatory word you said to her,” I snarled before moving down to press his hand flat on the table.
When I started to drag the box cutter over his finger, Cobra cleared his throat before handing me a weird saw.
“That will help you remove his fingers,” he told me.
I picked it up before quickly removing all of his fingers and going back to take the rest of his hands off, laying each piece on his chest. After his last palm was added to the pile, I pressed my fingers into his neck, checking for a pulse that wasn’t there. I rolled my eyes. Of course, he was dead. The little bitch couldn’t take his punishment. Cowards like him never could.
“So, what now? What do we do with his body?” I asked coldly.
Caleb cleared his throat, drawing my furious attention to him. “We’ll take care of it. Why don’t you go home to Leah?”
I looked down at my bloody clothes, knowing that my skin was just as coated in the sticky substance. “I can’t go home to her like this. It will frighten her.”
“Cobra can take you to where we shower. There’s extra clothes in there.”
I nodded before leaning over Will’s body to peer at his face. “I told you that you would never hurt her again. Now you can’t.”
I followed Cobra out of that room to a small bathroom. He showed me where the clothes were before stepping out of the bathroom. After I was done and dressed, I walked back to the other room, a little surprised that in the short time I was in the shower, the bikers had almost completely cleaned up my mess and moved the body.
“What did you do with him?” I asked curiously.
Rhino smirked at me. “We feed the coyotes in the area.”
I nodded. “Great. So, ummm, I’ll see you later?”
“Goodnight, brother,” Caleb said, not looking up from what he was doing.
“Goodnight.”
I sped back to Joey’s house, where Leah was watching a movie with Maddie and Joey. As I scooped her up, I met Joey’s eyes, giving him a small nod before walking out of the room, carrying Leah back to our room. I kicked my shoes off before placing her on the bed, and crawling in behind her to wrap myself around her.
“I love you, Leah. You are safe now,” I murmured.
She stroked my arm with her fingers as she pressed back against me. “I love you too, Brennan, but you are wrong. I was safe the moment you knocked on my car window…”
I nuzzled into her neck. “And I was in love.”
