Chapter 155
Rakari's POV
*Lunch*
"Why did he say that?"
I shook my head,
"Honestly? I don't know Chris; he just thinks that we have something going on"
"But we don't"
"Exactly! But he won't believe me and it's really frustrating!"
He could tell that I was getting upset so he pulled me in for a hug and I just cried into his shirt
"Shhh, Rakari it's okay"
"But it's not Chris; he thinks I'm cheating when I'm not!"
"Then that's his own fault, he lost a great girl"
"Flirting won't help anything"
He chuckled and I felt his chest vibrate when he did, "Worth a try"
I smiled,
"There it is!"
I looked up at him confused, "What?"
"That beautiful smile, that's what I wanted to see"
I smiled again,
"Well, you make me smile a lot_
"Obviously, I mean, I am hilarious"
I hit his arm,
"Cocky much?"
He laughed,
"You haven't denied it though
"Whatever"
"See, you don't need Darius"
"But I do need him!"
And that was when I broke down crying again
"You don't Kari; do you want to speak to him?"
"I don't even want to look at him"
"Then I'd advise you not to turn around"
I listened to him and just continued to face his chest, not wanting to turn around and face Darius
"Rakari"
"I don't think she wants to talk to you right now" Chris answered for me
"I wasn't talking to you! Get your hands off of my girl!"
I turned around and pushed Darius away from Chris
"I'm not your girl anymore, you lost me remember?"
"I'm not going to let you break up with me"
"I already did"
"I won't allow it"
I raised an eyebrow at him, "Who do you think you are, my dad?"
"I'm your boyfri-"
I cut him off,
"Ah! Correction, you're my ex boyfriend"
"I don't care what you say Rakari, I will get you back"
"With the attitude you have right now, I highly doubt it"
That seemed to snap him out of his cockiness because his face softened instantly and he brought his hand up to my cheek
"I'll get you back, whatever it takes"
I put my hand over his so that I could remove it from my cheek
"Have fun with that Darius but until I get a worthy apology" I grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer to me,
"I'll be avoiding you as much as possible"
He smirked,
"We'll see baby, we'll see"
He gave me an unexpected peck on the lips and winked at me before walking away and I turned to face Chris"
"He seems very determined"
I sighed,
"He is and I know that he won't give up"
"It should be a fun lunch time then"
I groaned,
"Yeah, fun"
He chuckled and just linked his arm through mine and we walked to the canteen.
*20 minutes later*
"So Rakari, what lesson do you have next?"
I looked up from my food and looked at Sam,
"Biology"
"That's great, I have the same thing"
"What about you Chris, what do you have?"
"I have PE"
"Awwwwww!"
I looked up at Cristina confused,
"What was that about?"
"Turn around"
I gave her a weird look before turning around to see Darius standing on the table with a bunch of roses in his hand... Why does he always have to do these things in front of loads of people
"Everyone listen up!!" The whole canteen went silent, "This is to show how sorry I am to my girlfriend"
"Ex!" I coughed and he just looked at me and smiled
"Rakari"
"I'm listening"
"I'm really sorry for accusing you of you-know-what and I hope that these roses will show you just how much you mean to me... Please forgive me"
I heard a range of 'awww's' from the crowd and I rolled my eyes
"Please"
I walked up to him and gestured for him to lean down so that I could whisper in his ear
"You're going to have to do much better than that to win me over" I looked into his eyes, "I'm not that easy"
I took the roses from his hands and winked at him before walking away and grabbing Chris' arm and walking out of the canteen
"That was awesome"
I laughed,
"He has to know that what he said wasn't acceptable, I'm going to make him beg for my forgiveness, no matter how much he hates it"
Darius' PO
I can't believe she just walked away like that and she took the roses! I ran my hands through my hair and jumped off the table, I needed to think of a new plan and quick
"Bad luck man, maybe she'll try for me"
I looked over at one of my friends, Rob, and glared,
"Even look at her the wrong way and I swear I'll kill you"
He put his hands up in surrender,
"Chill, I was only joking"
"Well don't, I just lost my girlfriend because I said something completely stupid and you're joking about it?"
"I'm sorry, I won't joke about it"
"You better not"
"So, is Rakari a better girlfriend that Lucie?"
My eyes went red,
"I told you to never speak her name in my presence, what of that do you not understand?!"
They all flinched back,
"Sorry, I forgot"
I closed my eyes and let them go back to their normal colour; all of my friends were wolves so I didn't have to worry about my eye colour when I was around them
"I'm sorry; I'm just not in one of the best moods right now"
My other friend Derek put his hand on my shoulder
"It's cool, we don't blame your for snapping at us but you're really hung up on Rakari aren't you?"
I nodded,
"I'm really hung up, she's my everything now and I'm on the very edge of losing her for good"
"We'll help you get her back"
I looked at them shocked, "Seriously?"They all nodded, "Just tell us what we need to do"
A plan formed in my head and I informed everyone of what I was going to do and when I was going to do it. Let's just hope that this plan works and that she doesn't just run away like last time.
