Chapter 205
Darius' Pov
Rakari nodded and I just looked away but I heard the door close and Rakari stood up so that she could sit on the desk in front of me,
“I’m sorry for taking over like that”
I shook my head,
“I’m glad you did, I don’t know what I would’ve done if you didn’t”
“I know that you probably don’t want her back in the pack full stop and you might think that I’m an idiot for thinking about letting her join again but I can’t just abandon her, she’s still my sister and yes, bad or not, I do dislike her a little bit but family’s family”
I nodded,
“I don’t think you’re an idiot, I understand what you’re saying completely”
She smiled,
“Okay good, how about we go back to our good news and tell the pack about our engagement”
I nodded eagerly,
“Yes definitely”
“I’m sorry for hiding this from you and for saying all those things before”
“You have nothing to be sorry for baby, I’m sorry for everything I said, I didn’t mean any of it , I swear, I promise I’ll look after you and our pup”
She leaned back and gave me a peck on the lips and I leant down and placed my ear next to her stomach. With wolves we have overly sensitive hearing so I should be able to hear the heartbeat of my pup,
“I take back what I said before”
She looked down at me confused,
“What?”
“I’ll be looking after you and our pups”
She looked at me shocked,
“More than one?”
I nodded,
“Sounds like twins to me”
“I knew it! I was vomiting way too much for me to be carrying one baby”
I chuckled and continued to listen to my babies’ heartbeat and I could feel my eyes tearing up at how gorgeous it sounded,
“Daddy loves you already, I can’t wait to meet you both”
I kissed Rakari’s stomach lightly before standing up straight and softly kissing Rakari,
“I love you so much”
She smiled,
“I love you too”
I sat down on the stage and gestured for her to sit down next to me so she hesitantly sat down an
d I placed my hand on her stomach again,
“We need names”
“Were gonna need like 4 names though, 1 for the boy and 1 for the girl or 2 extra just incase we get 2 of the same gender”
“Dale Preston Kepler”
“Wow, straight in there with a boys name” I chuckled and she continued,
“I like that, it has a flow to it and I definitely know what I want the girls name to be”
“And what is that my gorgeous fiancée?”
She blushed before clearing her throat,
“Ayva Sadie Kepler”
“After my mum?”
She nodded and I hugged her, burying my head into the crook of her neck,
“I miss her so much Rakari”
“I know baby I know, I miss her too, everyone misses her but she’d want you to be happy”
“I know but it’s hard! How can I be happy when she’s not here to see me happy?”
“She is here to see you happy” She pulled back and placed a hand over my heart, “She’s in here Darius, don’t forget that, you have 2 babies on the way, 2 babies that need their daddy to be strong for them, make your mum proud and be the strong person she wanted you to be”
I sniffed and nodded before wiping my eyes and nodding,
“You’re right, she wouldn’t want to see me like this”
She nodded,
“How about we continue coming up with names?”
I smiled and nodded,
“Yeah so we have Dale Preston Kepler and Ayva Sadie Kepler”
“Now you choose a girls name and I’ll pick the boy that way it’s fair”
“Okay”
Coming up with a girls name was much more difficult than coming up with a boys name but after mixing and matching different names I came up with a simple name,
“Tasmin Aaliyah Kepler”
She smiled,
“I love it”
“Thought of a boys name yet?”
“I’m stuck between Trenton or Laine”
“We could use both… Trenton Laine Kepler”
“There we have it, 2 boys and 2 girls”
“Dale Preston Kepler and Trenton Laine Kepler”
“And Ayva Sadie Kepler and Tasmin Aaliyah Kepler”
I gave her a peck on the lips,
“I can’t wait till they’re born”
“You still got to last the rest of the 3 months Darius, you might not be able to handle me”
I smirked,
“Is that a challenge?”
“Do you want it to be?”
I shrugged,
“Doesn’t matter, no matter what I’ll stick by your side, even through your mood swings”
“We shall see about that”
“Yes we shall”
I leaned forward and lightly kissed her before I pulled away and we just sat outside and looked up at the sky and started talking about my mum. Soon some of the other pack members joined us in our conversation and that’s how we spent the rest of the day until it was time to go to bed but that was the best sleep I had in the past 2 months.
You go off on some routine! First you blame me, then you blame yourself and then you play the guilt card! I’ve had enough of it!”
She pushed me back against the wall,
“You obviously don’t give a shit about me and this baby because not once have you asked how he or she is! Not once have you stopped and thought, ‘Wait, I’m having a child, this argument doesn’t need to happen!’ and not one fucking time have you even asked how the pregnancy is going! It’s like you’ve forgotten about your child already!!”
“Don’t say that! Don’t you ever fucking say that I’ve forgotten about my child! How dare you say that I don’t care about you or my child, how dare you!!”
Me and my wolf were furious right now and I didn’t even realise my hand being raised until I noticed Rakari step back with fear in her eyes and I was being held back by Rhylie and Charlie,
“I apologise for what I say next Darius, but raising your hand towards your own mate and alpha female is wrong even for you”
I looked down at my hand and then to Rakari, pleading her with my eyes to make her see that it wasn’t me, it was my wolf,
“I would never hurt you Rakari, you know that”
She placed her hand on her stomach and sighed,
“I know that”
“Then please get the look of fear out of your eyes when you look at me, I can’t handle knowing that you’re scared of me”
She shook her head,
“I wasn’t scared of you, I was scared of your wolf, I have a child to look after”
“You mean we have a child to look after”
She smiled and gestured for Rhylie and Charlie to release me and when they did they both bowed their heads before walking away and I opened my arms for her and she walked up to me and wrapped her arms around me and leant her head on my chest,
