Chapter 161
Darius's POV
He lowered his head,
"Sorry alpha"
"So you should be! Interrupt me again and I will make sure you will be punished for it, do I make myself clear?"
"Yes alpha"
"Good, now as I was saying, this is no joke" I looked over at all of them before continuing,
"When I set an order I expect you to follow it no questions asked, what of my order did you not understand?"
They stayed silent and I was quickly losing my temper,
"Answer me!!"
They all jumped at the intensity of my voice and Steven decided to answer,
"We understood it all"
"That's very hard to believe"
I walked back around the desk and sat down,
"I will give you as much as a punishment as I can" They all looked at me, fear still clearly prominent on their faces,
"You're banned from the games room, pool room, tennis court and the gym. You're curfew will now be 11:00pm no later and I will be checking the house every night to be making sure and lastly none of you will become a pack fighter"
They looked at me in shock, "What, why?"
I laughed humourlessly,
"Why? You have the audacity to ask why?!"
"Sorry alpha"
"I'm not going to explain myself to you! Just know that you cannot become a fighter due to what you have done, blame it on yourselves! I will tell you once more, do not go on the dark moons territory, do I make myself clear?!"
They nodded,
"Yes alpha"
"Good, now leave my sight!"
They ducked their heads and walked out of my study and I ran my hands through my hair,
"Darius?"
I smiled at her voice and automatically I felt calmer,
"Come in Rakari"
She walked further into my study and went to go sit in the chair opposite when I stood up and walked over to her so
"Darius what are you doing?"
I didn't reply, I just moved us back to my chair so that I could sit down and I placed her on my lap,
"That's better"
She smiled,
"I just wanted to know where you were, I was starting to miss you"
I felt my heart swell up at that sentence, at least I knew that she wasn't falling for Marcus' tricks,
"I missed you too baby, I was just sorting out some stuff"
"Yeah I could see that, I'm guessing the boys that just walked out were the ones that trespassed on Alastair's land?"
I sighed,
"They were and Rhylie told me that they did it again so I had a talk with them"
She raised an eyebrow at me,
"A talk?"
"Okay, an interrogation but either way what they done was unacceptable, I can't have people disobeying my orders like that, more than once"
I could feel myself getting angry again and I think Rakari noticed as well because she positioned herself so that she was now straddling me and cupped my face in her hands,
"Baby, calm down, you're getting angry"
I took deep breaths to calm myself down and after a while I went back to my normal breathing rate,
"I'm calm"
"Good, because I was wondering if you could do me a favour"
"What favour would this be?"
"Come bowling with me, Mhakir and Marcus"
"No"
"What do you mean 'no'?"
"I mean no, I am not going anywhere where Marcus is"
"Please, for me"
"I love you Rakari but I'm not going"
"I could always persuade you"
I became speechless when I felt her hand run across the front of my jeans and over my abs,
"Cat got your tongue?"
I couldn't even reply, I was in too much shock. She leaned next to my ear and started nibbling my earlobe in such a sexy manner that I didn't realise that I had actually made a dent in the desk from how hard I was holding onto it. She moved to slowly kiss my neck,
"Just say yes"
"Rakari..." I let out breathlessly,
She ran her hand back over my abs again while continuing to kiss and nibble my neck and the two combined was just torturously good,
"Just say it"
"I-I can't... Rakari..." Do you see how breathless she's made me? I'm the one that's supposed to be seducing her not the other way around.
Her hand started trailing south, closer and closer to the danger zone,
"Rakari don't"
Even I couldn't deny hearing the lust that was in my voice, it was completely evident now,
"It's only a few words Darius" She leaned closer to my ear and whispered,
"Say it"
"Yes"
"Yes what?"
Her hand was now dangerously low,
"Yes, I'll come bowling with you"
She removed her hand and leaned back,
"That's all you had to say"
"You are so sexy"
There was still lust in my voice because trust me, feelings like that don't just go away but I could also hear a hint of love which wasn't surprising,
"Whisper it to me"
I leaned closer to her ear and whispered it again,
"You are so sexy"
I leaned back and she captured her lips with mine and who was I to complain? I bit her bottom lip gently and she let me in without hesitation while she ran her hands through my hair and I couldn't prevent the quiet moan that escaped my lips as she did which just made her smirk against my lips. I continued to caress her tongue with mine and just when things were about to get hot, the door knocked and Rakari pulled away from me,
"People around here have such bad timing"
I chuckled,
"Tell me about it"
The person knocked on the door again,
"Be patient!"
Rakari was about to get up from my lap but I pulled her back down,
"Darius what are you doing?
"Can you just wait until I calm down a bit?"
She looked confused, that was until I gestured to down below and then understanding crossed her face,
"I never knew I had such an effect on you"
"Well you do, as you can see"
She laughed,
"Don't worry" I smiled and looked towards the door, "Enter!"
The door opened and in stepped the parents of the 8 boys,
"Good morning alpha"
I nodded to all of them,
"Good morning alpha female"
Rakari turned around so that she was no longer straddling me but was still on my lap,
"Hey"
I chuckled at how laid back she is and looked at the parents in front of me,
"What can I help you with?" Like I didn't already know,
"Our sons told us that you said they could not be pack fighters in the future"
"That is true"
"We'd just like to know why, they've trained their whole lives hoping that they could be chosen to be a fighter"
"They have and they are very good fighters but disobeying and alpha's order does cost and that is how they paid the price"
"Don't you think that's a bit unfair?"
Okay, I was definitely getting angry now but Rakari stepped in before I could shout at them,
"That is far from unfair. They did something completely unacceptable and the fact that you even came here to question the alpha's decision is beyond me" they all bowed their heads in shame and Rakari continued,
"You should be ashamed. Now don't get me wrong, I honour the phrase 'respect your elders' but I also honour the rules and so should you, so I'm only going to say this once... Respect your alphas"
They nodded and turned around to leave but before they could leave completely, I added one more thing,
"Never question my decision again, am I clear?"
"Yes alpha"
They left my study and Rakari got off my lap and I looked at her confused,
"Where are you going?"
"To get ready"
"To go where?"
"Oh did I forget to mention that we're going bowling in an hour?"
I looked at her shocked and before I could even speak she was out of the room laughing and I just shook my head smiling, oh how I loved that girl but I know I'm going to hate the rest of the day.
