Chapter 182
Rakari's POV
*20 minutes later*
We walked into the pack house and walked straight towards Darius' study where we came face to face with the two boys from Marcus' pack,
"Dismissed"
The 4 wolves surrounding the room nodded and walked out of the study with the last one out closing the door behind him.
The two boys turned to face us and i crossed my arms over my chest and waited for them to speak,
"Alpha, alpha female, my name is Josh and this is my brother James and we would like to join your pack due to unfortunate circumstances"
"State the pack you came from"
They gulped,
"The dark moon pack, alpha is Marcus Knight"
"So, Marcus is finally the alpha? Since when?"
"Since 2 days ago"
I laughed humourlessly,
"Prick"
"I know that you and alpha Marcus are at war-"
"You know nothing! I honestly can't believe that you would even step foot on our territory and have the audacity to ask if you could join the pack! What makes you think that we'll let you join?"
They shrugged,
"We were just hoping, you're the strongest pack in the south"
"Make your point, I'm not being unreasonable or anything but i do not trust anybody from the dark moon pack and until this war is over and 'alpha' Marcus is dealt with, nothing will make me trust you, i'm sorry but you're gonna have to find another pack, thats if you even left.
"You know nothing! I honestly can't believe that you would even step foot on our territory and have the audacity to ask if you could join the pack! What makes you think that we'll let you join?"
They shrugged,
"We were just hoping, you're the strongest pack in the south"
"Make your point, I'm not being unreasonable or anything but i do not trust anybody from the dark moon pack and until this war is over and 'alpha' Marcus is dealt with, nothing will make me trust you, i'm sorry but you're gonna have to find another pack, thats if you even left in the first place"
"Just give us a chance"
I started to get angry and Darius sensed it too because he stepped in before i could say anything,
"We will not be giving you anything, when this war is over and you still have no where else to go, then we will consider letting you join our pack but until then, i'd like you to leave"
They nodded,
"Charlie, Adrian!"
They walked into the room and i gestured towards the boys and they nodded and led them out of the room and i closed the door behind them and leant my head against it,
"Baby, are you okay?"
I shook my head against the door and he twisted me around and pulled me in for a hug while he started rubbing my back,
"It's gonna be fine"
"I know in my gut that Lukas put them up to that but i can't be sure"
"Marcus is a canniving asshole who thinks of no one but himself"
"I have brought so much trouble to this pack, it's ridiculous, i didn't want to bring anyone into my drama and now look!"
He leant back and shook his head,
"Don't you dare say that any of this is your fault because it isn't. I don't care if Marcus is after you because i love you enough to fight for you, no matter how much you don't want me to"
I smiled,
"I want you to fight for me but it won't matter because i'll always choose you"
I slightly lifted up my top to show him the mark and to remind him of what we have,
"We'll always be mates and nothing will change that"
He bent down and kissed my mark which made me close my eyes and bite my bottom lip due to how much pleasure rose up with
"Should i stop?"
I let out a shaky breath,
"No, don't"
He lightly pressed his lips against my mark again and gently grazed his teeth over it which just pushed me over the edge. I let out a moan and pushed him away from me so that he fell to the floor and i got to his level and started straddling him,
"Don't do that again, please"
He smiled,
"I'm sorry, i thought you enjoyed it"
"That's the problem, i enjoyed it too much, it was a feeling i can't handle"
"I'm sorry baby, i won't do it again, i promise"
I leant down and gave him a peck on the lips,
"I hate you for doing that to me"
He chuckled,
"You told me not to stop though"
"And i hate you even more for listening to me"
He pulled me down so that i was now laying on his chest and he started rubbing up and down my back,
"I told you i'm sorry"
I sighed,
"I know, I'm the one that should be apologizing, i didn't mean to take it out on you, i just, i've never felt like that before"
He continued rubbing my back gently as he spoke,
"I'm still sorry though"
He kissed the top of my head and i snuggled into him more as he tightened his arms around me and even with all the drama going on, Darius still manages to make me feel better.
Marcus' POV
*1 "Adam!"
He came running into the room and bowed,
"Yes alpha?"
"Where are they?"
"They are coming up to your office right now"
"Hurry them up because i am losing my patience!"
"Yes alpha"
He ran out of the room and no more than 2 minutes later, Josh and James walked into the room,
"Alpha Marcus"
They bowed down to me but i was not happy at the moment so i growled at them and they stepped back in fear,
"I have been told that you did not achieve the goal"
They nodded slowly and i slammed my fist down on the table,
"Why not?!"
"They won't believe us, they didn't trust us"
"I told you to say you were from a different pack!"
"We forgot"
I picked up my empty glass and threw it at the wall next to them and they jumped,
"You forgot?! You think i have time for mistakes like that?! You two will be punished whether you like it or not!!"
I stood up and angrily walked out of the room and downstairs all the way to the basement where Sharise was and i walked up to her and grabbed her hair to wake her up and she cried out in pain,
"Does this hurt Sharise?"
She bit her lip and nodded with tears running down her face,
"Good, because right now, you deserve the pain i'm inflicting on you!"
"What did i do?" She cried out and i tightened my grip in her hair,
"Your plan failed! They couldn't get into your pack because they are wise"
"That's not my fault!"
My eyes went red and i lifted her up from the chair by her hair and she cried out in pain,
"Its all your fault! I dont have time for your bullshit! Now i'm going to give you 24 hours to come up with another plan for me, or you'll be in much more pain than this, do you understand?"
"Yes"
I patted her cheek,
"Good girl"
I let go of her hair and she dropped to the ground and curled into a ball and started crying and i just shook my head at how pathetic she looked and walked out fuming.
Sharise better come up with a good plan otherwise i won't have any trouble making her pay for it.
