Chapter 207
Darius's POV
"Can you go and get 2 nappies and their baby grows for me please,
they're all neutral colours to just choose any 2, it should be in the drawer in the nursery, the one under the window, second drawer"
They both nodded and left the room, I would go and get them myself
but Rakari needs to go and take a shower and someone needs to watch
the twins because l didn't want to take them out with me to go and get the nappies and baby grows myself because then the pack would see them.
"Baby, can you take Ayva for me?" I nodded and took Ayva from her and positioned them both so that me and them were in a comfortable position.
"Go and take a shower, I'll be here when you come out, I'l get your mum to get you some cloth. She nodded and gave me a peck on the lips before walking into the little en-suite we had next to the room so I started talking to the twins.
"I can't believe you're finally here, you're both so beautiful, just like your mummy and I know you're both going to have me wrapped around your fingers just like your mummy does as well, | love you so much"
I gave them both a kiss on the cheek and Ayva started to fidget to while Rakari was in the shower I called the nurse for a bottle and she immediately came in with two just in case Dale got hungry as well.
Her parents came back into the room just in time because Dale started to fidget soon after,
"Luther, would you like to feed Dale while I feed Ayva or you can feed Ayva while I feed Dale?
He chuckled,
"Either is fine Darius"
I smiled and handed him Dale and he sat down and started to feed him while I grabbed the other bottle and started to feed Ayva and they both calmed down immediately.
When they both finished, I burped Ayva while Luther burped Dale and
when that was over, we proceeded to get them changed so that we
could show them to the pack.
Ciara walked into the bathroom, I assume to put Rakari's clothes in there for her and a few minutes later Rakari came out of the en-suite dressed and ready to go and I just couldn't help but stare at her,
"Darius? What's wrong?"
I shook my head,
"Nothing"
"Then why are you staring?"
"Because my dear fiancée, you are simply beautiful"
She blushed and looked down, Thank you
I chuckled at her and stood up with Ayva in my hands, and Luther
handed Dale over to Rakari,
"Martin, can you please go and make sure that everyone is out back?
Call me when everyone's ready"
"Will do"
Martin left the room and Ciara followed close behind him and Rakari sat down in the chair next to me,
"Are you feeling okay?"
She nodded,
"Compared to what I felt like before, I feel great"
I laughed,
"I bet you do"
"I'm sorry for shouting at you by the way"
"Its fine, I knew that you didn't mean it, you were in pain, it was
understandable"
She smiled and we both stood up and walked out of the room towards
the back of the pack house where, unexpectedly, Martin was
announcing us all,
"Presenting our alpha and alpha female with the newest members of
the pack, our future alpha's Ayva and Dale Kepler!"
Everyone cheered and me and Rakari smiled before stepping outside
and happily walking onto the stage and I could hear a range of 'awww's' coming from the crowd which made me and Rakari laugh.
I put my hand up to silence everyone.
"Before anyone asks, we will tell you their full names. I'm holding our son, Dale Preston Kepler who was born at exactly, 9:20pm at 6 pounds, 8 ounces"
"And of course, I'm holding our daughter, Ayva Sadie Kepler who was
born 5 minutes before her brother at 9:15pm at 5 pounds, 6 ounces"
The crowd bowed their heads to them and it kind of reminded me of
The Lion King but the only difference is that we're not holding our kids on a huge rock hundreds of feet high and we're not lions,"
"It's a shame that my mum couldn't be here with us today to see this but I know that she's watching right now and my daughter has been passed down her name so that we will never forget her"
The crowd cheered and I looked to the side to see my dad step onto the stage and I looked at him shocked, I haven't seen him for a few months to be honest, yes we live in the same pack house but it's like he's been avoiding me"
"Dad?I ummm-how have you-"
He cut me off and just hugged me and I positioned Dale so that he
wouldn't get hurt and wrapped my free arm around my dad,
"I'm sorry for everything I've done but just remember, I love you son"
I smiled and pulled back,
"l love you too dad"
He smiled back and kissed Dale and then went over to hug Rakari and
kissed Ayva as well before stepping off the stage and the crow
crowd was still cheering, they get so hyper when it comes to things like this.
I looked down at Dale to see he had opened his eyes slightly and I could just about see he had my blue eyes,
"It's like he knows what Ayva is doing; her eyes are open as well"
I looked over at my daughter to see her eyes were open too and she had Rakari's greenish brown eyes,
"When can we hold them?"
"Who will be the future alpha?!"
"Can we celebrate?" I silenced them again.
"Whatis it with you all and shouting out
questions?"
They all laughed,
"l will answer the questions I heard. You can hold them whenever we have time, but not for the next few days. The future alpha will be Ayva as she was born first, it's rare to have a female alpha
but as she is older than Dale, that's how it goes and yes you can
celebrate but without us"
The crowd groaned in disappointment and Rakari laughed,
"We just had twin's guys, you can't expect us to be partying today, we'll arrange another party later but knock yourselves out and have one tonight be dismissed"
The crowd dispersed and nodded towards the pack house so l let Rakari go first and we both walked up to our bedroom where of course the twins will be sleeping. We placed them both in their separate cots and they immediately drifted back to sleep and I lay on the bed with Rakari.
"Oh l know and I love you too"
She gave me a peck on the lips and leant her head on my chest and just as my eyes were driting shut she said one last thing,
"You're getting up for the night feed"
I chuckled at her because she was half awake and half asleep as she said that but I said okay anyway and drifted off to sleep.
I now have 2 beautiful children who I love so much and a perfect fiancée who I also love very much, the next step of my life is to marry her and I can't wait for that day to come. be too loud okay, the twins will be sleeping"
