Chapter 188
Marcus' POV
I was sitting in my meeting room just looking over everyone in the room, keeping my expression blank. If I wanted this plan to work, I knew that I couldn't have anyone weak in my pack, they bring everyone else down which is why if I see anyone who looks weak, I will banish them, I don't really care if they haven't done anything to me personally, just the fact that their bringing the rest if my team down, is enough for me to banish them for good,
"Alpha, are you okay?"
I looked over at Steven and narrowed my eyes,
"Did you really just ask. That question? I am the alpha, of course I'm okay!"
He looked down,
"Sorry alpha"
I sighed and ran my hands through my hair in frustration,
"Does everyone know about the plan?"
The room nodded,
"Yes alpha"
"Has everyone met Sharise?"
Only a few people nodded their head so I nodded towards the doorman who opened the door to let Sharise in,
"Hello Sharise"
She bowed her head to me, "Hello alpha Marcus"
"Take a seat"
She nodded and went to sit down in the empty chair next
"Well, as you know, my name is Sharise Prescott and I am here to serve the alpha"
I smirked and nodded,
"How?"
"I know now that Darius never cared for me and he needs to pay for lying to me"
"Do you trust me?"
She nodded,
"You showed me the truth about Darius, he's nothing but a liar and a fake!"
"Now you know. Before Rakari came, did he even give you a second glance?"
She shook her head,
"Before Rakari came, he hardly even liked to breathe the same air as us”
I chuckled,
“You see what he’s done Sharise? He’s made you weak and vulnerable, he’s made you think that nobody likes or wants you, that’s not right”
“May I speak my mind alpha?”
“As long as you keep in line and do not disrespect me”
She nodded,
“I just want to say how I really want to hurry up with this plan”
I looked at her confused,
“Why is that?”
“I don’t like to sit around and do nothing, while before I had no say in anything, now, I feel like I’m getting some power and I want to use it to teach Darius a lesson”
“I am not going to allow you to foolishly run back to his pack house just to mess everything up, that is not how I work”
“Permission to speak alpha”
I sighed,
“Yes Adam”
“How do you know we can trust Lucie?”
I laughed,
“He hit her?”
I nodded,
“Apparently so, awful isn’t it?”
Everyone around the table nodded in agreement,
“So what is the plan alpha?”
“If you were important enough to know, I would have told you!”
“I apologise alpha”
“Whatever, the fact is that Darius is expecting a war and sure, we’ll give him one but not in the way he thinks”
‘Alpha, we have someone from the Shadow Valley pack requesting to see you”
I growled and stood up,
“I will be back in 10 minutes, stay put!”
Everyone nodded and I walked out of the room towards the front of the pack house and as soon as I saw who was there, a smirk made it’s way onto my face,
“Well well well if it isn’t the famous Adele Kepler”
“So, you’ve heard of me?”
“Darling, everyone has, who could forget the girl that got the world famous alpha of the Red Forest pack killed”
She growled at me,
“I did not get him killed”
I laughed,
“Oh wait, my mistake… You knew he was going to get killed then, it’s the same thing in my book”
She took a few steps forward, “You should learn to respect your elders”
I took a knife out from my pocket and held it towards her while I made my face go blank,
“Take another step towards me and I’ll teach you a fucking lesson about respecting your alphas”
She looked at the knife with fear in her eyes,
“Do you understand me?”
She nodded fearfully and I put back on my smile,
“Great, I’m glad we finally understand each other now let’s get to the matter of why you decided to come onto my territory”
“I know that you and Darius are at war”
“Look, I honestly don’t give a shit who you are, where you came from or what you want, I have enough fucking drama on my hands already and I am so close to snapping”
“I actually came here to help you”
“Just hear me out”
“I’m holding a knife towards you and you’re still asking me to hear you out, now you either want to get hurt or you’re just stupid, either way, you either leave my territory willingly or by force, your choice”
“You can trust me though”
I sighed and walked towards her while she kept taking a few steps back until I had her up against the wall and even though she was older than me, I towered over her by at least a few inches. I moved her hair from her shoulders and ran the blade of the knife over her shoulder blade,
“Sharp blade isn’t it?”
I slid it over to her neck,
“It would be a shame if it left a mark on your pretty body wouldn’t it?”
She stayed silent but I could visibly see her shaking with fear and that just made me smirk,
“Come on Adele, say something”
“Please” She whispered and I brought the knife around so I could move her hair out of her face,
“Please what?”
“Please don’t”
I shook my head,
“Wrong answer”
I made a slit in her shoulder which made her cry out in pain,
“Please what?”
“Stop, please!”
I made another slit next to the other one which made her cry out again,
“Please what?!”
“I’m sorry! Just stop please!”
I shook my head again and made a third cut but this time a bit deeper and I could see a few tears fall from her face,
“Say it Adele! You know what I want you to say! Please. What?!”
“Please alpha!”
I took a step back and she fell to the ground clutching her now bleeding shoulder,
“That’s better; I hope you’ve learnt your lesson Adele, have you?”
She nodded while looking down to the ground,
“Look at me!! Unless you want me to use this knife again, I suggest you fucking look at me!!”
She looked up at me,
“I’ve learnt my lesson”

“Good, don’t make me teach it to you again”
“I’ll be going now”
She stood up and was about to walk out of the door when I ran in front of her and shook my head,
You think I’m just going to let you walk out of my pack house now? After all that you know? I’m not an idiot”
“Please! I won’t tell anyone!”
“Sorry”
I grabbed her by the hair and dragged her towards the basement, I walked down the stairs with her crying out in pain the whole way through and I chained her up with silver chains,
“Don’t bother trying to shift; these are silver chains, no wolf an shift with these on and they are unbreakable to even the strongest werewolf, impressive huh?”
She just let out a whimper of pain which made me roll my eyes,
Now, I’ll give you 2 days to make a choice, either you join my pack permanently or you die, simple choices, limited time”
“I don’t want to join any pack”
“You have 2 days Adele but in those 2 days, you’ll be begging to join my pack because once I’m through with you… Well, you’ll see”
I turned around and started walking up the stairs but I turned around one last time and said,
“Lights out”
I switched off the only light in the basement which made it pitch black and I could hear her crying from the top of the steps.
walked out of the basement and put on my padlock, made especially for occasions like this and started walking toward my office.
I walked in and everyone bowed their heads in respect and only lifted them when I took a seat,
“Alpha, when do we send Sharise back?”
“Whenever she feels the tie is right, so Sharise?”
She faced me,
“Yes alpha?”
“When do you want to start the plan?”
“As soon as possible”
I nodded,
“Then you go back tonight, make it look real Sharise because we can’t afford for this plan to go wrong”
“I promise you alpha, I will not fail you”
I smirked and nodded. I know for a fact that Darius will be putty in her hands and as soon as she has the chance, we’ll strike and I’ll win back Rakari for good.
