Chapter 159
Rakari's POV
He walked out of the room and I just held a confused face because I had no idea what he meant by that last sentence. I got up to go after him when I felt a hand go around my wrist,
"You should give him some space"
I turned to face Marcus,
"And you should let me go"
"Rakari-"
"Now"
He sighed and let me go and I continued to walk away and upstairs to Darius' bedroom. When I got there I knocked on his door,
"Go away"
"Darius please"
I heard shuffling before he came to the door and opened it for me and I walked inside and turned to face him,
"Who left you?"
Might as well get straight to the point,
"You don't need to know"
"It's obviously affecting you, just let me in"
He shook his head,
"I can't, not now anyway but I will, eventually"
I sighed,
"I don't know what I'm supposed to say for you to believe that I won't leave you for Marcus"
"From what I've heard, he was a great boyfriend to you, someone that looked after you, someone that cares for you,someone that loves you deeply"
"But you're all of those things as well"
"The difference between me and him is that he loves you and he probably took care of you while I love you as well but all I do is hurt you"
I laughed and shook my head, "You're an idiot, do you know that?"
He looked at me confused,
"How am I an idiot?"
"You don't notice the fact that I'm here with you right now"
"So? What's that got to do with anything?"
"When you left, it was just me and Marcus and I had the perfect opportunity to stay with him and do whatever but I didn't, instead I decided to follow you and try and make you see that I wasn't going back to him but you're completely oblivious to the fact that I followed you, while I could've been with him"
Understanding crossed his face and he ran his hands through his hair,
"I didn't realise"
I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck,
"Now you do, now get the idea of me betraying you out of your head because it's not going to happen"
He smiled,
"It's gone"
"Good"
His face all of a sudden changed to nervousness,
"Ummm, Rakari, can I uhhh, ask you something?"
"Go on"
He rubbed the back of his neck, "Can you ummmm, possibly, stay with me tonight?"
"I'm sorry, what?"
"Can you stay with me tonight?"
I looked at him shocked, not because of what he just asked but because of how nervous he got asking it. The big bad alpha was nervous about asking me to stay with him,
"I mean, you don't have to if you don't want to, I was just wondering, you could always-"
I cut him off by pressing my lips against his, a gesture that he responded to immediately. He bit my bottom lip and I eagerly parted my lips for him, wanting to feel the passion that he brings whenever his tongue meets mine and surely was not disappointed. I grabbed his shirt and walked backwards until I was lying on the bed with him hovering on top of me but without breaking the kiss. I starting running my hands through his hair while he continued to caress my tongue with his. He moved down to my neck and I arched it to the side so that I could give him more access and I swear, I was just about to lift his shirt over his head when there was a knock at the door and I felt like killing him
"I could kill whoever's at the door right now"
"I was thinking the exact same thing"
"Your eyes are black by the way"
"So are yours"
"No surprise there"
His eyes started roaming down my body and I just hit his arm playfully,
"Perv"
He laughed and gave me a peck on the lips because moving off of me and going to open his door and I took that as my chance to close my eyes and let them go back to normal,
"Rakari"
I opened my eyes to look at Darius,
"Yeah?"
"Your parents want to see us"
"Us?"
He nodded,
"Yep"
I groaned,
"It better not be the sex talk, I hate those... Oh and I will stay with you tonight"
He smiled and took my hand so that we could walk downstairs together and when we entered the living room, we sat in the chair that was opposite my mum and dad,
"So, what's up?"
"Nothing princess, we just wanted to see how your relationship with Darius was going"
"Dad, if you're going to give me the sex talk, please get it over with"
He looked at me stunned,
"I don't think that's something I should be telling you, that's more of a mother-daughter thing"
I looked at my mum,
"Go ahead mum"
She laughed and looked at Darius,
"You may be alpha but she is still my daughter so I'll tell you this now, hurt her and I'll be making sure that you'll never be able to function properly, if you get my drift"
I laughed,
"Nice one mum"
She winked at me,
"So alpha, do we understand?"
He nodded fearfully,
"Sure thing Claire"
Yeah, I'd be scared of my mum too; she's pretty scary when you get on her bad side,
"Awwwww, is my alpha scared?"
He snorted,
"Me scared? Never"
"Well I would be scared Darius, my wife isn't joking around"
He smirked and took my mums hand and they both walked out and I just looked at Darius to see him still looking fearful,
"You are scared!"
"She threatened to rid me of my manhood, of course I'm scared"
I laughed,
"You just have to make sure you listen to what she said"
"Oh trust me, I will"
I leaned my head on his shoulder and he kissed the top of my head,
"How about we go to bed, in our room"
I laughed at how he put emphasis on the word 'our' but I nodded anyway and we made our way to the bedroom and if you were wondering, yes, all we did was sleep... purely sleep.
