Chapter 158
Rakari's POV
Me and Darius walked out of the study and towards the lounge and honestly? I had no idea what I was going to do with Francesca, I'll probably just let her go but I want to have some fun first, scare her a little bit. I walked into the lounge,
"So, was the game fun?"
She looked up at me and I could see how vulnerable she was, at least now she knows to never touch my mate again,
"Why are you doing this?"
"You need to know that nobody is allowed to touch my mate other than me"
"I know that now!"
"Oh do you?"
She nodded,
"I swear I won't do it again!"
"What makes you think I'll let you stay in the pack?"
"Haven't I suffered enough? Darius are you just going to let her do this?!"
I looked at Darius, wanting to know what his answer to that was,
"She's my mate; she can do what she likes"
I smirked and looked back at her,
"Do you want to plead to anyone else in the room?"
"Please just let me go!"
I shook my head,
"You need to see the error of your ways Francesca"
"I have! I swear to you that I have!"
"Answer me this... What were you hoping to gain out of forcing yourself on my mate?"
She dropped her head to the floor,
"I don't know"
I clapped my hands for effect, "The classic answer 'I don't know'"
"I'm sorry" She whispered quietly and obviously we could all hear
"What did you say?"
"I'm sorry" She said a bit louder,
"So everyone can hear you!"
She looked up,
"I'm sorry!"
I smirked,
"That's better" I walked up to her,
"What you did was completely unacceptable and I'm not going to stand for it"
"What are you going to do?" She asked with a fearful look in her eyes.
I took a step back and crossed my arms,
"Nothing"
She looked at me confused, "What?"
"I'm going to do nothing, I'm a calm person which is why I'm letting you have a second chance but if I ever find out that you've even looked at my mate in the wrong way, I won't be so calm, do you understand me?"
She nodded frantically,
"I understand, it won't happen again, I promise!"
"Good, we're on the same page then" I looked at the guys that were currently holding onto her,
"Release her"
They let her go and she was about to walk out when I decided to say something else,
"One more thing" She stopped walking but didn't turn around, "I'll be watching your every move, make sure you do.
She nodded and walked out of the lounge and I just sighed and sat on the sofa,
"Alpha female, are you okay?"
I looked up at the 4 male wolves in front of me, excluding Darius,
"What is my name gentlemen?"
"Is that a trick question?"
I shook my head,
"No it is not"
"Ummmm okay, your name is Rakari"
"Then please address me as such"
"But addressing the alpha and alpha female as their name is disrespectful"
I snorted,
"That's a load of bullshit"
They all smiled at my choice of words,
"It's what we were told"
"Well I'm telling you now to call us by our names and that's an order"
"Sure thing Rakari"
I smiled and they were about to walk out when I stopped them,
"Where do you think you're going, I'm not done with you guys yet"
They all turned around with a weary look on their faces,
"Don't look so scared, I only wanna know your names"
Relief spread across their faces,
"Well, I'm Carl, that's Hunter" He waved,
"Then there's Adrian" He smiled
"And finally we have my brother, Danny"
He waved at me and I smiled at them,
"Are you all pack fighters?"
They all nodded,
"We are"
Darius stepped in,
"They are 4 of the best fighters I've known"
They smiled proudly,
"Thank you"
"Take the compliment boys because I doubt you'll hear another one from him any time this year"
They laughed,
"We'll take what we can get"
I laughed,
"Dismissed"
They walked out of the room and I looked at Darius,
"They seem nice"
"They are"
I gestured for him to walk closer and when he did I leaned up and gave him a kiss. I just felt like doing it.
I heard a growl behind us so I pulled away from Darius and looked behind him to see Marcus glaring at him,
"Can we help you with something Marcus?"
Darius growled and stood up straight to face him,
"I was just looking around, the usual"
"Darius" I said in a warning tone,
"I will not be nice to him Rakari; I let him stay in my pack house, isn't that enough for you?"
"More than enough but don't be so rude"
"I wasn't being rude"
"Right and I'm a unicorn!" I said in a sarcastic voice which he responded with the rolling of his eyes,
"Come on, you're asking me to do something I don't want to do, you can't make me be nice to him"
"I'm not making you do anything, I'm just asking you not to be so, I dunno, blunt"
"I will do what I like. He's on my territory and in my house" He turned to face Marcus,
"You follow my rules and my conditions or get the fuck out and don't you dare try and stop me Rakari"
"Wouldn't dream of it"
He turned back to face me, "Can't you see that he's trying to take you away from me, why else would he want to stay here?"
"You're paranoid Darius and even if he was, I would never go back to him, you should know that"
"I don't though! I love you a lot and that's why I'm so paranoid okay, I can't let another person I love leave me"
I just have follow Darius now, like who left him before and why is he afraid of another heartbreak. I love him and will do anything to make him happy.
