Chapter 270
Vincent puts me down gently and I take off, slightly unstable since I've just woken up. I manage to make it to them and collide with Sage first.
"Are you here permanently now?" She nods in excitement and shoots her arms up in the air.
"Say hello to the newest resident at The Hollow! I moved in last week while you were gone."
"That makes me so happy!" I turn and face Marcella and we
embrace tightly.
"Welcome back, Davyna' I squeeze her tighter." I finished that routine you asked me to do.
"That's amazing. That can come later though" She looks behind me and Vincent and Caleb are behind me now, and I beam with pride.
"Are you all." Marcella asks and I nod as I push all my hair behind me, revealing my marks on either side of my neck. Marcella's eyes light up and she comes and traces her fingers over them.
"Wow!"
"That's not all Marcella." Vincent says to her and her eyes widen even more as Vincent pulls his collar to the side, and Caleb does the same, revealing my marks I left on them.
"She marked you both too? Wait. that means.." I smile.
"Don't overdo it, love". Vincent warns as he and Caleb goes and
stand beside Marcella and Sage to shield unwelcome eyes. I nod. 1
promise.! I look between both Sage and Marcella.
"Don't freak.. no one else knows!" They nod and I back up a little
I close my eyes and focus on bringing my vampire forward. I feel
the change happen and I hear Marcella's sharp intake of breath as I
open my eyes.
"Holy shit." Sage and Marcella say at the exact same time and I
laugh. That's only part of it. I won't do it now, but I have a wolf too.
"Her name is Freya."
"A wolf too? Caleb, you saw it?" Marcella asks, her tone of voice full of wonder and surprise. He nods.
"She shifted after we mated". A stunning black wolf:
"Well then, I guess you'll have to show her to us later! There's a few things that changed while you guys were gone. First, all of your suites have been vacated into the new suite made for all three of you."
My jaw drops.
"What? The three of us have our own larger suite now?" Marcella nods.
"Everything was moved in so you guys can change it around however you like. But there are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full on kitchen, living area and office for the boys."
"Holy hell"
"Just wait until you see it" Sage says as she then comes up to me and places her hands in mine.
"The second thing... your Dad is awake" I can't hold in my tears.
They stream down my face.
"He is? Can I go see him?" Sage nods.
"I it's more then good, this is fantastic!" I wipe away the fallen tears and look to Caleb and Vincent who smile at me lovingly.
"Go, baby. We will see you later" Caleb approaches me and pulls me into a sweet kiss, and Vincent does the same.
"Okay. I love you both. See you soon" Sage grabs my hand and we
walk into the main entrance. Kraven is standing there.
"Welcome back, Miss Blackmoon."
"Thanks, Kraven" I reply and we walk by him and around to the
infirmary.
"He woke up about 4 days ago. They're still keeping him here in the infirmary to make sure he's all good to go back to his duties, so he shouldn't be in here much longer."
"Okay" I reply and I feel my hands start to shake in anticipation.
Sage nods at one of the nurses and I'm brought back into Dad's
room, and my heart skips a beat as I see his beautiful eyes look at
me.
"Daddy!" I exclaim and I go to his bedside. He pulls me into a large hug and tears flow freely now, as my body is racked with sobs. He holds me tightly, rubbing my back.
"it's okay, sweetheart okay I'm okay" I finally pull back and sit on the side of the bed as he wipes away my tears.
"I wouldn't leave you so soon. You know that" I nod and sniffle.
I heard about you and Caleb and Vincent" I inhale sharply.
"You know?" He nods.
"l am so sorry I didn't tell you that you were adopted. I just didn't want to shock you more after Klaire died. I'm sorry you didn't find out from me"
"It's okay, I understand. No matter what you are still the man who
raised me. You are still my father" I see his eyes start to water.
"Do they treat you well?" I nod.
"Like a queen, Dad. They really love me and I. I love them" His eyes widen in the realization that I've allowed myself to feel again. He takes my hands.
"I am so happy for you sweetheart, and I know your mother would be too. Once I'm out of this damn room, l'd like to meet them if that's okay? I've seen them with my council duties, but I want to actually take time to get to know them."
"I'm sure they'd love that too, Dad" I pause and then ask the
question that has been burning a damn hole in my mind since I
found outI was a hybrid.
"Did you know what I was?' He nods.
"We knew to some extent. We knew you were different, and that you needed to be hidden and protected. I never imagined that you'd be a hybrid" He lowered his tone when he said 'hybrid'.
"Marcella and Sage filled me in. I still love you no matter what, and I'll try my dumbest to support you the best I can't sniffle and hug him tightly again. You best get going and get settled back in. I'll be out in another day or so.
"Come visit okay?" I nod.
"Of course" He kisses my hands and stand in the waiting room. I smile
"So...how is it with the stud muffins?" Sage asks and I laugh out
loud.
"You never change do you? She laughs with me.
"Nope!"
"It's amazing. It's still so surreal" She leans into my ear and
whispers.
"You had sex with them both didn't you?" I roll my eyes
and whisper back.
"Yes, but not both of them at the same time, if that's what you're thinking... although they haven't been opposed to the idea" Sage gasps and slaps my shoulder.
"And you say i'm the dirty one! I think you take the cake after that!" I sigh and then laugh again.
"Oh shut it.. you know you'll get all the details later. I don't think Marcella wants to hear about it"
"You have to tell me. promise?" I look at her and don't reply right
away. She pinches my hip as we get into the elevator and hit the
button to the 9th floor.
"Ouch! I promise! Geez."
The elevator dings and we emerge in the hallway. I see Caleb,
Vincent and Marcella at the end of the hallway, near where Caleb's
and Vincent's suites are, but as we get closer, I see another door in between theirs, through the wall that was the end of the hallway
before. Vincent sees me first.
"Hi, love. How is Matthias?" I smile.
"He's great. Actually he wants to meet you both" Caleb interjects.
"Suddenly I'm nervous." I giggle.
"You don't need to be. He's going to love you guys just like I do."
"Want to see our new digs?" Caleb says and then laughs at himself.
"I know..forget it. Come on in!" I follow behind my mates as we
enter the new door. My jaw drops as I take in the new suite.
"This is for us? Just us? I'm gob smacked as I look around" Even
though there are boxes scattered about, it's still a sight to see. In front of me is a wide open area with the large open kitchen on the left, and the living area on the right. The walls are a deep burgundy, with dark wood accents and a dark hardwood flooring. I walk close to the kitchen, and run my hands along the large white marble countertop on top of grey cabinets. A large sink is beside the fridge on the far far right side, with the stove down on the left. I move on towards the hallway on the far right side of the room, past the living area. I pass a small bathroom, and the first bedroom, that has grey walls and the same flooring, the office, and then I come to a set of double doors at the end. I open them and am just in awe.
This room is fully done already, with a very large posted bed in the center of the room against the back wall. It's definitely bigger then my old one, which means all three of us could probably fit on it comfortably. It's another dark wood, with light white sheets and navy covers. The walls are a beautiful grey/blue, hinting to the blue that Caleb used in his suite. There are three dressers and two closets that line the left side of the room, on the right that leads into a master bathroom. There is a large soaker tub inside on the left, as well as another large glass enclosed shower near the back. Three sinks line the right side of the bathroom, and everything in here is white on white
It's stunning, and it's home.
"You have to tell me. promise?" I look at her and don't reply right make you and these guys can bring all the bags up.
"Sound good?" on, okay?" Vincent says as he rubs my back. I nod in agreement
