Chapter 165
Darius' POV
I continued to hold her as she slept and I looked up at her parents,
"What the hell happened Darius and we want the truth"
I sighed and stood up with Rakari in my arms. I walked over to the sofa and went to put her down,
"No, don't leave me, please"
She was still asleep but she could sense me letting her go so instead, I sat down and just let her sleep in my lap.
When I was satisfied she was comfortable I looked at her parents,
"Where do you want me to start?"
"The beginning"
I sighed and proceeded to tell them the story from when she ran out of the bowling alley to when I found her in the café toilets and by the end of it, her mum was in tears and her dad was in shock,
"Why did she start crying just now?"
"The word 'sweetheart' triggered off her emotions, that's what the guy kept calling her"
"My poor baby!"
"Come on Clara, I think we should go upstairs and calm down a bit"
She nodded and got up from the sofa to go upstairs and Martin was about to follow when he turned to face me,
"Thank you so much Darius, we are in your debt"
I just nodded and he walked off upstairs and I took that as my chance to form a plan,
'Emergency meeting, I want all pack fighters and my beta to meet in my study now'
I sent out the message and seeing as I couldn't leave Rakari, I picked her up,
"Darius, where are we going?"
I looked down at Rakari to see her rubbing her eyes,
"Well I was taking you to my study but you're awake now so there's no need"
"There's obviously a need, what's going on?"
I sighed,
"I called an emergency meeting. I want to find the guy that hurt you"
She gestured for me to put her down so I gently set her feet on the floor and she took my hand,
"No matter what you do, I'll be by your side"
I smiled and we continued to walk towards my study and when we walked in everyone immediately went silent,
"Good morning alpha, good morning alpha female"
"Hold up! That is not the welcome I was looking for, re-do it"
I chuckled and shook my head, Rakari genuinely hates formality.
I decided to help them out a bit because they just looked confused so I sent them to address us by our names'
Understanding crossed their faces and they greeted us again,
"Good morning Darius, good morning Rakari"
She smiled,
"That's better, don't make me tell you again"
"Sure thing"
"Well, let's get this meeting started, Rhylie, input the code please"
Rhylie nodded and walked over to the bookshelf and Rakari just looked confused. The code isn't numbers, its book titles, it goes: Romeo and Juliet, The Trial, Miracle Cure, Macbeth and ends with The Innocent.
I got this put in because everyone would look for a number keypad but this is something no one would think of. Rhylie put in code and the 2 bookshelves opened to reveal a second room,
"Woah, that is some spy shit right there"
I laughed,
"Come on"
I squeezed her hand and led her into the second room and when the last person was in, Rhylie locked it, the code is in numbers to get out so it's easy,
"Take a seat"
Everyone took a seat and I went to the head of the table and placed Rakari on my lap,
"What's the cause of the meeting Darius?"
"Lets just say that something terrible happened to Rakari yesterday, I won't go into details but we need to find the guy that done it"
"And do what?"
"Kill him"
The whole table gasped and looked at me shocked,
"You vowed to never kill anyone again after what happened"
"Rakari knows Charlie, its okay to speak about it"
"Ummmm okay, well after Adele left you promised
"Well I'm going to break that promise, when I find him I will make him beg for mercy for what he done to Rakari"
I could feel the rage within me when I thought about what he would've done to Rakari,
"Darius you need to calm down before you shift"
"Do not tell me what I need to do!!"
I placed Rakari on the floor and stood up to face the wall,
"Darius-"
"Shut up!!"
I started to shake with anger when I pictured his face and I started to clench my fists over and over.
I felt two arms go around my waist,
"You need to calm down baby before you shift"
"I'm so angry, he put his hands on you!"
"I know but you stopped him from doing the worst, calm down"
I growled, a sign that my wolf wanted out and he wanted out now,
"You're scaring me"
That got me to stop being angry and instead I felt guilty. I turned around to see that she had taken a few steps back,
"Don't be scared of me, please, I didn't mean to scare you like that, its just... He touched you and I-I couldn't stop it"
She walked up to me and placed a hand on my cheek,
"Please don't think about it too much"
I sighed,
"Okay"
She smiled and dropped her hand and I walked back over to my chair and pulled Rakari down onto my lap,
They nodded,
"Back to the matter at hand, how do you expect us to find him if we don't know what he looks like?"
"Do you think I'm stupid? I've already given a description to Lemar, he should be done in the next day or so"
"Then what?"
"As soon as you get the image, go and look for him, as soon as you find him do not hesitate to capture him, I don't care how you do it. Bring him back to the pack house and contact me, follow those orders and nothing else, do you hear me?"
"Yes"
"Dismissed"
They were about to get up and leave when Rakari spoke,
"Sit back down now"
They immediately sat down and I looked at her confused but didn't say anything, I knew not to,
"I like the way you all made this plan and not once asked if I was okay with it"
"We're sorry Rakari but we can't say no to an alpha's order"
"If I give you an order you also have to follow it, am I right?"
They nodded and I internally groaned as to what was coming up next,
"Then my order is this... Do not do anything, until I myself tell you to do something, you will do nothing, understood?"
"Understood"
"Now you are dismissed"
They nodded and Rhylie put in the code and they all left, leaving me and Rakari alone,
"Why did you do that?"
She got off of my lap and stood up to face me,
I did what needed to be done"
"I'm only doing this to protect you Rakari, I don't want you to get hurt"
"Did you ever stop and think that what you're doing could hurt me?"
I ran my hands through my hair in frustration,
"All I seem to do is hurt you!"
"Darius its not like that, I mean that you can't just expect me to sit there and say nothing, I can't just sit there and listen to you talking about killing someone, that's what hurt me, the fact that you didn't ask me once how I felt about that"
I felt really guilty now. I stood up and grabbed her waist,
"I'm sorry, I was being selfish and I didn't think about your feelings, forgive me?"
She gave me a light kiss, "Forgiven"
I smiled and looked towards the TV and my eyes went red,
"Darius what's wrong?"
I didn't reply. I let go of her waist and walked over to my TV in anger. I had hidden cameras everywhere in my house and right now I'm looking at Lukas in my room,
"Son of a bitch!"
I quickly put in the code and ran out of the room and my study with Rakari close behind me. I ran upstairs and ran into my room and Sakari closed the door behind her,
"Get out now!!"
He looked at me and smirked, "Fancy seeing you here Darius"
"Don't provoke him Marcus, what are you doing in his room?"
"Just looking around"
I lost it,
"This is the last straw! Get out of my pack house!!"
"How about we let Rakari decide that"
"Leave Marcus"
I smirked triumphantly and looked back at him,
"You heard her, leave"
"I know you still have feelings for me Rakari, just admit it and I'll leave"
She shook her head,
"I don't have feelings for you anymore, I'm sorry but my heart belongs to Darius"
"We'll see"
He jumped out of my window and I locked it as quick as I could,
"What did he mean by that?"
I shrugged,
"I don't know and I don't really want to find out"
"I'm sorry I brought you into this"
I looked at her confused, "Brought me into what?"
"This whole 'marcus wanting me back' fiasco, I didn't want to drag you into it"
I smiled,
"It's fine, I love the feeling I get knowing that you'll always choose me over him"
She smiled,
"The feeling's gonna be permanent"
I walked closer to her and placed my hands on her waist,
"Did I ever mention how much I love you?"
"I don't think you have, care to tell me?"
"I love you so much, it's actually impossible to tell you how much I love you"
She smiled, "You're so sweet... I love you too, so much"
"Not as much as I love you"
"I love you more"
"How much?"
She grabbed my shirt and smashed her lips to mine and I wasted no time in asking for entrance and she wasted no time in giving it to me. The usual sparks went flying but as soon as my tongue met hers, the fireworks went off, that's how passionate this kiss was. She kept hold on my shirt as she started walking backwards towards the bed and I wasn't gonna break the kiss. She lay back on the bed and I hovered on top of her not wanting to be too far away from her.
All of a sudden, she lifted my shirt over my head and I thought it was a bit unfair for only me to be shirtless so I did the same to Rakari. I moved down to her neck while she ran her nails all the way down my back which just made me cry out in pleasure. I kissed all over her neck trying to find what I was looking for and when she let out a quiet moan, I knew I found it... Her sensitive spot. I gently grazed my teeth over her neck and she tightened her grip in my hair and pulled my head back up to her so that I could kiss her again,
"Mate with me" She said against my lips and I pulled away and looked at her shocked,
"What did you say?"
I knew what she said I just wanted to hear her repeat it,
"Mate with me" She said a bit louder,
"Are you sure?"
She ran her hands down my abs until she got to the button on my jeans,
"Positive"
I smirked and wasted no time in kissing her again, I just wanted her to fully be mine and only mine and i wasn't going to say no.
Well, they finally mated, what can I say? Lol
