HORUS

Durell walked closer to Akira as they await big Tiger's gang who were still packing their bags and baggage.
"I want to know more about Shango, the demigod who owns this elegant scepter," Durell begged Akira who was busy staring into the sky.
"Go and meet my mother," Akira replied. "She is a great storyteller."
Durell bobbed his head and walked closed to the queen who was sitting with some little children and playing with them.
"Akira told me you are a great storyteller, can you tell me more about Shango, the demigod who owns the scepter in her hand."
"Sure, please sit closed to me," she said as she clean the small rock beside her chair with her handkerchief.
"I'm old and tired from this journey and can't speak louder."
"Thanks," Durell replied as he sat close to her.
One day, Obatala the creator of the Yoruba race was on a journey and need to cross a big river. Far off sat the ferry woman who hunched under a mango tree. Obatala walked up to her and requested for her service to ferry him across the river but Aganju, the ferry woman refused.
"So sorry my lord, but am sad and not in the right mind to work." She said as she faced the tall and bulky god in white.
Obatala struck by her beauty quickly asked for the reason for her depressing mood.
"Since I was born, I was dedicated to the goddess Olokun and now am getting old, beyond the age of menopause without a man nor child of my own." She replied with sadness radiating over her adorable face.
Obatala who had already fallen in love with her quickly volunteer to marry her.
"My name is Obatala and am not a man but a god. I will marry you and you will bore me a son." He proclaimed.
Aganju quickly falls on her feet and bow. "Who am I to be married to a god?"
"Have no fear," Obatala said as he hold her arms and pulled her closed to him.
Aganju happily boarded her ferry, and both lovers paddled away and travel far and wide, Obatala taught her many magic and she eventually become powerful. Being married to a god, Aganju possessed many powers and abilities, her foundation is what society was built upon and the catalyst for the product of the vast amount of wealth and commerce needed for advanced development. She is also noted for her legendary strength and her ability to bring about drastic change. Her significance in Cuba in the past is most probably due to her story of delivering them from bondage and helping them to carry the heaviest of burdens. She was also associated with Olokun who was her guidance until she fell in love with Obatala and eloped with him.
Unfortunately, Aganju died while giving birth to Shango when Obatala went back to his home in the sky. So the young demigod grew up among strangers in a strange land and was unheard of until his stories of power, magic, and conquering brought him to the limelight and he was contacted by Oyomesi of Oyo kingdom to help in delivering their king from the hand of his brother and later crowned the third king of the land when he succeeded in this mission.

While his virtual infinite stamina enables him to exert maximum capacity for a lengthier period without fatigue. This enables him to overpower any human and most of his race, making him be known as the strongest among all demigods. He is skilled in the art of battle and usually relied on his superior fighting ability, strength, and invulnerability. Shango is indisputable the most powerful beings earth has encountered so far.
He later fell in love with Yemonja, another powerful demigoddess, a major patron to the spirit of rivers, particularly the Ogun River in Nigeria and oceans in Cuban; associated with our lady of Regla in the Afro-Cuban diaspora and also Brazilian religion.
She was later associated with the virgin mary figure of the catholic church, a practice that emerged during the era of the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Often depicted as a mermaid and also associated with the moon in some communities as well as the feminine mysteries.

Shango later marries another demigod.
Oya is popularly known as the goddess of weather as she can call lightings, storms, tornadoes, earthquakes, or whatever suit her fancy. She is also associated with funerals, and part of her duty is to carry the souls of the dead to the hereafter.
She is also known as the keeper of the graveyard, the demigoddess in charge of the cemeteries and she is called the great mother of all witches or the elders of the night.
As part of her psychic ability, she can call the dead for discussion and can hold them back if she feels they have an incomplete mission on earth.
She is emotional, sensitive, and fierce as she hates lies, injustice and won't hesitate to pour her wrath on those who challenge her or her decision. Once angered, she can destroy villages with floods and many other natural disasters.
She also goes by the name Oya-insane-an, meaning the mother of nine. Oya was barren as she gave birth to nine children but they all came out dead.
The river Niger is named after her, that was the place Shango met her during one of his various war campaigns. The Niger river is called Odo-Oya, meaning Oya's river.
"The rest, I'm aware you must have been told by my daughter." The queen concluded.
Durell nodded his head in agreement. "You are a great storyteller. He admitted.
Maria ran helter-skelter in the darkened tunnel, where the echo sound of her feet seemed to fill with howls. She couldn't remember where she was coming from, nor where she is going, or why she kept running. She hit her right leg on a log of wood on the way, stumbled, and fell, only to stand up immediately to resume her race. Suddenly, an eye blazing with fire appeared illuminating the dark tunnel.
The running girl stood on her track, as the voice filled the silent tunnel.
"I am all-powerful and can see even your greatest fear."
Maria swerved left and resumed her race, but the pursuing eye kept appearing in her front, no matter how she run.
"I'm the eye that can see all, am the eye of Horus. The voice shrieked.
Horus was the ancient god of Egyptian national diety and he is usually depicted as a falcon-headed man wearing the pschent, or a red and white crown as a symbol of kingship over entire Egypt. Or as a falcon, mostly a peregrine, or as a man with a falcon head. He was Osiris son and was worshipped from late prehistoric Egypt until the Ptolemaic of Romans. As Osiris heir, and the rival to Seth, the murderous and brother of Osiris. After becoming pregnant with Horus, Isis being Horus's mother fled to the Nile Delta marshlands to hide from Seth who had jealously killed Osiris and who she knew would want to kill her. There Isis bore a divine son, Horus who eventually defeated Seth, this avenging his father's and assuming the rule. In the fight, Horus left eye was damaged but was later healed by Thot.
The eye represents the sun or morning star. Which stands for power and quintessence.
Suddenly the eye moved towards her and the heat from it scorched into her soul, and she screamed as she came around. "Where am I?" She turned left and saw a strange alien hovering over her. Recollection settling in. "Please let me go" she screamed.
"You are okay now," Horus said with an odd smile unbefitting his distorted female face.
The threesome was about to exit the palace main parlor when the girl woke from come. The terror in her eyes immediately she saw the alien hovering over her is overwhelming and Brenda was filled with sympathy.
"Can she come with us, since she is awake?" Brenda asked Zuri who looked with a worried grin.
"Sure, why not?" Zuri replied. "Lose our visitor and let her go with her people.
Horus immediately unclipped all the belts holding Maria and removed all the wires inserted into her body.
"Thanks," Maria said, happiness radiating all over her face.
"You are welcome and can always call on us anytime," Zuri said. "Don't hesitate to let me know whenever you have any news concerning Kira and Akira. As he faces the outgoing visitors.
"I will contact you immediately." She replied. She quickly holds Maria's hand and pulls her along. "Walk faster," she whispered.
The group promptly exist the palace, walked through the big compound, and exist the main gate. They breathe with relief as their legs bounced fastly off the alien's territory.
"I thought you will never make it out alive, but you end up coming back with another lady." Bobby cried out with delight." Is she the alien's mistress?"
"What happens over there?" Elenu asked Zuma who still look as white as ghost.
"Let's get off here?" Brenda commanded as she climbed her bicycle and cycled off.
Zuri watched them off, he turned and walked back inside the parlor.
"What did you have to tell me?" He asked Horus who he met on the way in.
"I have already downloaded my virus into her and I will be able to track her and whoever thinks of her. I'm sure she will soon be missed by someone in Kira's and Akira's company and we will be able to track them through this."
"You have done well, and have already registered your name. You will be paid all rights as a named hooray when your invention is finally proved." Zuri said with a smile. He had attached a camera to his visitor and he will be able to see them wherever they go. "Soon, I will have the scepter." He believed.
