INCENSES FOR GODS
Yaris and the Hoorays with him hopped for hours, reached the T-junction some miles off, then paused in confusion on the way to take.
Yaris thought for a while, brought out his gadget, then pressed some numbers on it, and the ringing from the other side vibrate in his ear.
The phone was picked up after three consecutive ringings, a mild voice on the other side grunted.
"Hello," the voice from the other side let out.
"I want you to find Horus's location and send it to me now." Yaris barked out.
"A minute sir." The voice from the other side answered back, and then a sound that sounded like the typing of a keyboard was heard.
Yaris waited in silence, glanced at his excited and enthusiastic warriors, and smiled with contentment. Then muttered silently. "If they can't accomplish this mission, then no one else can."
A minute later, the voice from the other side let out. "Horus is a few kilometers from you, turn left and hopped faster. Am sure you will meet up with him in a few hours."
Yaris nodded his head, disconnect the call, then commanded his warriors to turn left and hopped faster.
And his Hoorays instantly obeyed his command, and they hopped faster.
They hopped for hours, got tired, and decided to spend the night in a deserted village along the highway, and the weary aliens soon sprawled on the ground, in front of all the houses in the village.
Excepted the guards that were stationed as watches for some hours, to be taken over by their comrades in line.
The commander-general and his three generals galloped in front, and they were followed by thousands of jihadists.
Several hours later, the men reached the villages where the aliens were lodging, then halted and glared at the large column of aliens in their front.
The commander-general halted his horse, waited for his general to gallop closer, and announced. "We have unexpected visitors ahead of us."
"Aye, we have seen them as well." One among the general let out a smirk.
"They are unaware of our presence, and our only strength lies in a sudden attack." The general in the middle announced.
"I suggest we plan our assault to leverage our chances." The last general mumbled.
"Let's use our dynamite, and our petroleum products to attack them first." The commander-general said, after some seconds of silence.
"Perfect!"
"Supported!"
"You are the wisest commander-general."
The voice of the three generals flowed in the air, as they praise the cleverness of their boss.
The commander-general soon dedicated two hundred men to sneak into the camp of the aliens, then plant their devastating weapons in their midst.
The two hundred men divided themselves into twenty units, and each unit sneaked into the resting abode of the aliens, along with kegs of petrol and lots of dynamite. And they soon reached the middle of the aliens, then start placing their weapons in a different strategic location, connected them with wires, then to their dynamites.
The assaulting teams were almost successful in their mission when one among them where discovered by the Hoorays on watch.
"Enemies in our camp." A loud voice of a Hooray boomed in the silent night, and aliens instantly raised from their slumbering and circled their assaulters and the jihadists were soon arrested and brought into the presence of Yaris, along with the remaining kegs of petroleum and sacks of dynamites.
"Who are you, and why did you sneak into our camp?" Yaris screamed at the men on knees in his front.
"We are just travelers, and going on our way to search for security and safety." One among the team leader answered back, with a convincing gaze.
"What is inside these kegs and sacks with you?" Yaris snarled back at the men in his front.
"This is waters given to our gods of stone and sands, and these sticks are the incense we burn to seek their protection. "The speaking jihadist answered back, gazed at the eyes of the leader of the aliens, then smirked loud to prove his point. " let's go our way, we meant no harm."
Yaris scorned the man's statement, walked close to the kegs in front of the jihadists and peered inside, then picked one of the dynamite, smelled it, dropped it back into the sack, then screamed at the man in anger. "Will your god of stone appeared and save you from our hands?"
"Aye, we just need to pour all this liquid on the ground, then light the incense, and our gods will appear and save us."
Yaris looked with unbelievable gaze at the men with turbans in his front, then at the kegs and sacks of strange objects, he had never seen before. His mind told him to put the men to death, but the curious part of him screamed to him to watch the wonder the men claimed to be able to perform. "I will let you go if all you claimed were right, but if you are lying, then I will kill you all."
"We have no reason to lie, we can summon our gods if you doubt our story."
"Then go ahead, and call your gods."
The few among the men stood up from their knees, jerked the kegs off the ground, and poured it all around, while another sect picked up the incenses, brought out a rectangular object, removed a stick from it, and set to strike it against the brown painted side of the rectangular object in their hands.
Yaris looked at them intently and can swear with his life, that the men were as stunned as him. "What can they be hidden?"
The lagging of the men to ignite the incense in their hands seemed so suspicious, that his instinct cried out to him to take some steps off the wetted area, so he obey.
And his obedience was what saved his life.
As soon as the men light the stick they claimed was an incense burnt to their gods of stone and sand, a deafening sound bombed out, and the whole arena soon engulfed in flame. And in sooner time, another series of deafening sounds and raging flames sprouted around the Hoorays, and their environment became bright with scorching fires that consumed more than half of the warriors.
The commander-general of the jihadists and his generals heard the booming sounds and saw the fire that soon followed.
Aware that those sent had not returned, and knowing their mission was achieved by laying down their lives.
He instantly ordered his men to bow their heads for some minutes, and pray for the soul of their departing comrades, who died, so others can live.
After the minutes of prayer and meditation, the jihadists stepped closer to the burning camp of the aliens, and at their back, were their commander-general, and their three generals.
The legions of dooms keep increasing, and their fame went before them.
In sooner time, most villages were deserted as soon as the news of the twins coming reached them, and this slowed down the expectations of the twins.
"Let's change our routes, and walked into Zuba, it's a big town, and we will have lots of warriors from the teeming population." Kira let out to her sister, that as soon as the third village they will be entering was met deserted, except for a few aged men and women, and some toddlers that are sick from malnutrition.
"Aye, none of those seen so far meet our demand, they were useless." Her sister answered back.
"The next T-junction is a shortcut into Zuba town, I'm sure will we be there, hours before Brenda and her gang."
Akira turned back, gazed at the zombies at her back, and tried to count their numbers. But their unstable movement soon gets in the way of her counting. "We have close to five hundred warriors with us."
"Yes, we should raise two thousand more, before our final clash with them." Kira let out.
"Quite possible, one thousand for each of us."
"Aye, nothing is impossible for us, it's just a matter of time."
On reaching the T-junction, the twins turned left, and they were followed by hundreds of grunting zombies, who seem to enjoy a strange relish from their indiscernible gruntings.
