SUFFER NO WITCH TO LIVE

The legions of Akira warriors soon became enormous within a day.
They sacked all the villages on their way and put those not converted by Akira to death.
Soon, their fame had spread like a burning bush during harmattan and in a few hours, all the villages along the main road were deserted, as a result of the fear of the legion of dooms, as they were called.
The legion of dooms soon reached a desolate village, and Akira sauntered in the front of the zombies and peeked around for any mortal.
No one here! Akira exclaimed with disgust.
She veered around, count her warriors, and smiled with contentment.
Only she had fought and conquered two hundred men, who now serve as her weapon.
Yet, Akira knew this is just the beginning, but she was prepared.
She had asked from the wind about her sister, and the reply was perfect.
Akira's only fear lies with the discovery of the fact that she is now penetrable to sharp iron.
"Am no more goddess but mortal," Akira muttered aloud, then glared with contempt at the zombie who smirked at her statement.
Perhaps this is due to the separation of her from her sister, and everything will be okay when they were back together. This is the only plausible explanation, and aside from this, nothing else makes sense.
"I will be whole, when am back with my other half." Akira grinned out, then stepped faster, and she was followed by her legion of dooms.
Far off at a village where Akira's legion of dooms will be passing, some men were seen discussing with their female counterparts, and the women were seen on their knees pleading with the men.
"Am the head of this clan, and have been responsible for your safety since the knockout. I say we hide until they passed through our region." A man in a blue shirt with white stripes over matched blue trousers let out.
"We are hungry and our children were sick, we can't continue hiding while they plundered our farmland and destroy our home." A young and vibrant speaker among the men in the group cried back.
"Please, reconsider your decision, as we are too young to be made a widow." A woman among those on knees begged back, she held the vibrant man's leg and sobbed on his feet.
The man in anger jerked his feet away, "am not a coward, and shall fight to defend my land."
"We will defend our land." One among the men announced, and his announcement caused an instant uproar, as the leaped up, crouched, hopped up, then whirled around with excitement.
"We are tired of hidden." A man cried out.
"Yes... Yes... We shall fight to defend our land." More voices cried out together.
"Then your blood will be on your head." Their leader replied. "I will tell you the parable of the chick."
"We are done with all your fables and parables, we need actions and not stories." The man yelled back.
"Nevertheless, I will continue with my parable, as it was my right to." The leader replied. He faced all the men with him, then resumed. "One chick was angry that its mother forbade its movement to the garbage site in the village center." The man paused to allow the effect of his parable to run through the mind of his listener, then resumed. "A chick did not know the hawk, it is the mother that can differentiate it from the eagle."
"Thank you, mother chicken. Can we go now?" The man asked, faced his comrade, and announced." Let's go meet that legion of doom, and send them back before they destroy our farms."
The men all heed his announcement, and they marched after their ringleader.
Like the proverbial chicken that ignored its mother's warning, thereby ending inside the hawk's belle.
The wind was predictable this time around and indeed informed Akira, of the true condition of Kira.
Like her sister, Kira had enslaved two hundred men and they all marched after her with their unintelligible words.
She soon emerged at a T-junction, branched left, then sauntered on, but soon halted at the sight of armed men on horses, galloping towards them.
The men soon halted some miles off, and their leader cried out. "This road is not permissible, Kindly turned right at the T-junction at your back."
"We are heading left, and pleaded with you not to delay our journey," Akira answered back.
"Impossible." The man yelled back. "We have heard of how you bewitched people and turned them into your slaves, so we won't allow you to pass through our region for this witchcraft of yours."
"You heard right, but I only bewitched stubborn men like you, who refused me passage or disturbed my peace," Kira replied, then added after. "Be wise, and I give you my words that none of your men will be touched."
"I don't bargain with witches, as it was written that suffered no witches to live, but put them to death. Suffer their body to save their souls." The man quoted back.
"This quote of yours has sent many innocent women to death, and I and my sister were victims. Kira cried back, she looked at the speaker for a while, then announced aloud. " You will know how the blade of swords feel when it chopped off our heads."
"The man looked confusingly at the out crying lady in her front and instantly concluded inside him. "You are not only a witch but you are sick, and a sick witch is a virus that needs to be eradicated before it turns to the holocaust."
Kira was not mad, but at that moment, the memory of their death during their third reincarnation flowed into her.
It happened a long time ago, in the land of Salem.
The Salem witch hunt was a series of accusations against people who are believed to be witches, in colonial Massachusetts between February 1692 to May 1693.
Even though it lasted for a year, and was believed to be the sole crash of theocracy, the horror of men against women and children during the dark ages will remain fresh in the minds of those who lost a member to such barbaric actions.
Kira and Akira had been the unfortunate victims of a hunt filled with isolationism, religious extremism, and false accusations.
They were arranged with other victims at a court by Oyer and Terminer in 1962 and by a superior court of judicature in 1963.
During those trials season, all the witches were displayed like roasted chickens for consumption, and most died during their tortures, while the rest were forced to plead guilty, confessed to their imaginary crime and declared guilty, then put to death by hanging, frying with boiled oils or crucified to death.
Suffer no witch to leave!
Yet Kira and Akira's crime was because they used their gift to heal, guide, protect, and covered all humans that came to them, like a mother chicken, does to its chicks.
For this selfless devotion, the twins were put to death by the blade of the sword and their bodies were tossed off in the street gutters and were soon eaten by the dogs, and the patient vultures.
"Men like you, performed their evil deed, under the pretense of religion."
Kira announced, then cried out to her legion of dooms. "Slaughter them all, and suffer no religious bigotry to live."
Then the conflict began, and it was one of the worst in the history of the town.
Augur walked aimlessly for days and suddenly found himself at the back of the camp of some men in blue uniforms.
He hid behind the tall trees and watched with a watery mouth as the men circled their sumptuous meal, then washed it down with their favorite liquor.
When Augur was satisfied the men were asleep, as a result of their exhaustion or from excessive alcohol, he sneaked into their midst in search of a morsel to fill his screaming stomach, and if possible, some liquor to quench his thirst.
Unfortunately for Augur, he sneaked into Dija's space, looked around, and saw some piles of weapons.
"Am not after weapon, but food."
He looked fruitless for a while, "bad luck, let me try the next camp."
Augur heard a faint sound behind him and veered around instantly. "Where is the lady on the bed?"
Without being given any chance to voice out his question, Dija appeared at his back, with a dagger and a yelling voice.
"Who the hell are you?"
