The protector gang
Sebastian galloped faster and soon saw the aliens far off. He instantly jerked his horse and galloped into their midst, descended from his horse, and walked close to Geisha as the Hoorays around him make ways.
"I need a moment with you," Sebastian said.
Geisha peeked at the human in his front and marveled at his effrontery. Whatever he has in mind must be important for him to have risked his life by coming close to the Hoorays.
"Please, speak up," Geisha begged.
"My name is Sebastian and I was with Brenda until a few hours ago."
All the Hoorays within earshot at the hearing of Brenda's name quickly listen with rapt attention, and a deadly silence instantly fell among the column.
"My name is Geisha and I'm the commander-general of this legion," Geisha replied and gazed at the human beside him who stretched his arms toward and widen his palm.
"I beg your pardon, but I don't understand why you raised your hand towards me." Geisha let out.
One Hooray at his back quickly whispered into his ear and he bobbed his head and exclaim. "Please pardon my ignorance."
Geisha after saying this grabbed Sebastian's palm and shake him. "May I know why you seek to talk to me?" He asked after.
"I know where the scepter is heading, I need your assurance that I will be named a general when the Hoorays come fully into power and that you will hand over the control of the world to me when leaving."
"Astonishing." Geisha thought but said. "I can make you a general, but handing over to you is above my decision."
Sebastian looked depressing and turned to walk out of the Hooray's midst.
"Wait." Geisha cried after him. "I promise to recommend you to my superiors and to lobby in making your demand accepted."
Sebastian turned and walked back to Geisha then announced. "Since we have a perfect understanding of each other's needs, then I believe our words are infallible."
"Yes," Geisha replied. "Now where is the scepter." He asked after.
"The scepter is not going this way," Sebastian replied. "Brenda and the humans and aliens with her are going to Niger state."
Geisha gazed at the human in his front, but his phone choose the moment to sever his gaze.
"Turn left after the bridge overhead, Zuri and Horus are a few kilometers ahead of you." The voice at the other side of the call boomed out.
"Are you sure of this tracking device?" Geisha asked back.
The voice replied after a moment of silence. "Zuri and Horus have removed all the trackers on their bodies, and the only means to track them is to hack into humans locked technology to find them."
"Human technology is unreliable," Geisha shouted back.
"Yes," the voice admitted and quickly added. "But combine with our technology and under competent supervision, I believe we will get accurate results."
"Are you assuring me of your accuracy?" Geisha asked after a long frown.
"Yes." The voice replied. "I will call you in case of any latest development." He added after.
Geisha disconnected the call, then looked at Sebastian before him.
"My Hooray informed me we are on the right track and will soon catch up with them."
He paused for a while and looked puzzled, then said. "I'm not doubting you, but let's go along and check if they are at our front or we need to turn back."
"If you insist," Sebastian replied. Climbed his horse as the aliens before he hopped after Geisha and galloped after them.
One-eye, Big Tiger, and some men were seen addressing some passerby.
"We urged you to join our gang and marched along with us to save the world and send the aliens back to where they come from." One-eye cried out.
"It's already late." One big man with a beard shouted back at the man addressing them.
"They have already taken control of the world and the world leaders have run with their tails between their legs." Another man added with a grim look.
"All this are rumored spread by the aliens to create fears." Big Tiger replied.
"Latest news was that America, France, Germany, Italy, China, Uk, Rusia and the rest of world power have come together to fight against them," One eye added after.
"And how did you get your information?" One woman with a scornful look yelled back.
"If the strongest nations need to come together to fight against them, did you expect the weak nation to fight against them alone?" The big man with a beard replied.
"I will share confidential information with you." Big Tiger replied. He stared at the people before him and announced. "Those nations may be stronger, but all their weapons and technologies have been wiped off, but that was not the news-" he paused his speech, removed a bloodstain handkerchief from his pocket to wipe his sweaty face, then resumed his speech.
"The only infallible weapon against the aliens was found in our land."
"What weapon?" Some voices from the listeners cried back.
"The scepter of a demigod, and it's on its way to somewhere in Niger state." Big Tiger replied.
"And as expected, the aliens were after to destroy it," One-eye added.
"So we need devoted warriors to protect the scepter until it reached its final place." Big Tiger added after.
The whole listeners after discussing for a while decided to give the men addressing them a chance. Besides, they have nothing worth doing, since the aliens had put to stop all humans inventions.
"Am a leader of hundred strong warriors, and will we be joining you, but I must be allowed to lead my men." The fat man with a beard informed the men before him.
"You are welcome, and your terms are accepted. "Big Tiger replied.
" I can lead you to the leader of our gang and I believe they will support your campaign." Another man cried out as well.
"Are women accepted as well?" One woman in men's clothing inquired.
"The leader of this campaign is a woman and welcome both sexes," One-eye replied.
"You are all welcome, except the underaged." Big Tiger added as some young teens raced to join the men on queue who were written their names in a big book in One-eye's hand.
In the end, One-eye with the Big Tiger's gang had gathered hundreds of men, but controversy soon emerged among the new members concerning the name the gang will be called.
Big-Tiger walked into their midst to settle the uproar.
The men argue for more minutes and at last, The protector's gang was unanimously voted for.
"We are protecting the scepter." One satisfied gang member gloated and raced to pick his weapons from his hideout.
Some moment later, The protector's gang was set to embark on their journey but halted back as another larger of mobs with weapons emerged from afar and walked closer.
"The scepter gang." One eye whispered at the sight of Kira and Akira, and he instantly hide his face in order not to be noticed by the twins.
"They were after the scepter as well, and they should be considered an enemy as well." Big Tiger announced when the column went out of sight.
"We must follow them now," One-eye commanded, and his instruction was immediately obeyed.
The protector gang marched after the scepter gang, but they kept a distance to remain invisible until when needed.
